And our waitress - whose name I unfortunately did not catch - was thoughtful, friendly, and hospitable; which is rare these days. “Very disappointed - although lamb shank was falling off the bone- the oily bland brown gravy was not helped by more salt and few uncooked mushrooms. The side vegetables - broccoli and can string beans - were overcooked, mushy dull green. The cropped tomatoes on the Greek salad were spoiled and should have been thrown out. There are better Mediterranean/Greek restaurants in Sacramento than this one. Dining area is in the bar - not a very good dining experience for conversation.”

Went with my friend last night and was happy to get Amy to serve us. She was covering a vacation for another server. Having her at our table brought back many happy memories of Barry and my past. He passed away last year, and I miss him so much. The food was great as always and the company of having Amy serving us made the night perfect. We shared many happy memories. “Working with Palette Cakes was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Kellie was a complete dream. She was so responsive, quick to answer all my questions and provide her suggestions on what would work best for our venue, guest count and vision. Not to mention all of the desserts were delicious and our cake was so beautiful. Woke up with texts from friends about how pretty our cake was an how tasty all the sweet treats were.

Not to mention every vendor i talked to always gushed about Palette cakes being the best dessert vendor in the area. 10/10 experience.

“Generous portions, perfectly cooked shrimp, and flavors that hit every note, pure magic! This restaurant is my mom's favorite (she and her bestie are regulars), and I was lucky enough to catch them before they left so I could place a to-go order. My go-to test at any Mexican restaurant is the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo (garlic butter shrimp), and I was thrilled to see it on the menu here. Ordering takeout is always a gamble since you're not at the restaurant if something isn't right but I believe quality should be consistent whether dining in or taking food to go. Thankfully, this place delivered in every way. The shrimp were succulent, large, not skimpy, and cooked perfectly. The garlic butter was rich and flavorful without being overpowering, and the sautéed onions balanced it all out. Even the refried beans stood out (something many places surprisingly get wrong). The rice was fairly standard...on the drier side but when mixed with the beans and that delicious garlic butter from the shrimp, it turned into a whole new level of flavor. That's how I made my burritos (that's how I eat this plate, I have to wrap it all up in a flour tortilla. Let me tell you, it was absolute magic! Portions were generous, I could tell the meal was thoughtfully prepared, and every bite was pure satisfaction. The only downside was the styrofoam packaging (I'm not a fan of that), but it didn't take away from how incredible the food itself was. This restaurant easily earns my seal of approval. I'll definitely be ordering from here again because when I say the food was amazing with a capital A, I mean it!”

“This was my first time visiting this Papa Murphy’s location at Carmichael and Fair Oaks Drive, and I came away very impressed with the experience. From the moment I arrived, everything went smoothly. My order was prepared on time and ready for pickup exactly when promised, which made the entire process quick and convenient. It’s always nice when a restaurant pays attention to the details and gets an order right the first time.

Once I got home and baked the pizza, it turned out exactly as expected. Everything was prepared correctly, the ingredients were fresh, and the final result was absolutely delicious. The quality and flavor met all of my expectations and made for a very enjoyable meal. The staff seemed organized and efficient, and the overall experience left a great first impression. Based on this visit, I will definitely be returning for future orders and would happily recommend this location to anyone looking for a reliable and enjoyable Papa Murphy’s experience.”

“While we enjoyed the pizza at this place, they are indeed closed permanently. At 4:00 pm the other day, they did not open and then we saw through the windows all the tables and chairs had been removed. Since there was no signage outside to indicate they were closed, I searched the internet and found an article from mid December, 2025 that they were closing permanently on 12/31/2025.”

“Had a great experience at Middle East Bakery & Grocery! The customer service was excellent — everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. They have a great selection of fresh bakery items, groceries, and delicious food. One of the best things is that they stay open really late, which is super convenient when most places are already closed. Clean store, great atmosphere, and amazing service. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality food and late-night convenience!”

“I go here about once every two weeks . I love the food or just for the shake with the boba . I recommend this restaurant to neighbors who live in the neighborhood and bring people from out of the state when visiting . The atmosphere and cleanliness is impeccable . The receptionist / waitress has got to be the most unfriendliness person I have ever met in my 84 yrs of life . It is impossible to even get a friendly smile let alone words or a “thank You” . It is a big turn off. I have neighbors who will not go there because of her. It is hard to ignore .”

“The food here really hit the spot. We came to sac for a quick stop to eat and the service was so friendly and nice. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. A lot came steaming hot, not “too hot” but fresh hot! The price for four people was 120, in this economy not bad at all. Overall 10/10, and I can say one of the best japanese spots I’ve ever tried. I got the salmon teriyaki and it was bombbb. I wish we had a spot like this in Fresno!”

“Great Pizza and Friendly Service!
I recently visited this pizza shop, and it was amazing! The pizza was so good – everything was delicious. The crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The cheese and sauce were flavorful, and the toppings were fresh. I had the combination pizza, garlic pizza, and taco pizza, and they were all perfect.
They have a lot of pizza choices, so you can find something you like. They also have something new and different – a Nutella pizza with strawberries and bananas on top. It’s so delicious! The garlic knots were also really tasty – warm, buttery, and soft.
The staff were friendly and quick. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe, making it great for a meal with friends or family.
I highly recommend this pizza shop if you want tasty food and great service. I’ll definitely go back!”

“Stopped in here for lunch with my family, to start the girl who took our order was very nice and friendly, you order from the bar and find a seat and they bring over your food. Was on the pricey side, a Patty melt, cheeseburger, basket of fries, beer and bloody Mary was 52 bucks, the food was delicious and might bring me back for a second visit. It was a beautiful view looking out to the finely manicured grounds, now some cons, it was extremely loud inside, which made conversation difficult and the worst part was it was full of middle aged golfers that couldn't stop starring at me and my family, like we infiltrated there secret lair, hey golfer guys it is a public restaurant so take your eyes of me and look someplace else. All in all was a nice lunch”

I went with my vegetarian friend and we had the sizzling braised tofu with vegetables.. it was very flavorful (black bean sauce) and we had their mixed vegetables.. I really enjoyed the food, filled my plate three times and still had leftovers for home. They also had lemon water as well as regular water.. it was a hot day outside so the lemon water was very refreshing. I would definitely go again when I am in the area.”

We won't be back. $55 for 4 items is insane. Sorry.”

“I usually come to this Jersey Mike’s about once a week and have always had a good experience, but today was the first time things didn’t go well. I spoke with Tatiana on the phone, and she told me to come in and she’d give me two free subs since my order was messed up. When I got there, she said she only meant one, which was half of what I originally ordered.

I’ll still be back because I like Jersey Mike’s overall, but I’ll probably try to avoid coming during that shift.”

“We went to this location's drive thru yesterday around 2:30 or so and were told by the person taking orders that there was something wrong with drive thru ordering and to please come inside. I went inside and instantly noticed the workers were slammed which was the real reason they were not taking drive thru orders. The drive thru order taker was needed on the line. I worked food service for about 25 years, including diners, so I understood the real reason the drive thru wasn't working. No big deal. I realized a big part of the problem was that most of the orders were HUGE DoorDash orders. And more Door Dash delivery drivers were coming in constantly. BK simply does not have the staff to handle such a big work load and in the end this will bite them in the butt. It took about 15 minutes before I even got to order. This is not a slam, but a simple fact. There were people on the line freaking out, calling other workers to come in to help, people on the line threatening to walk out because they couldn't handle it. After I finally got my order in it was another 25 minutes as I noticed 4 FAMILIES and a Door Dash delivery guy who order AFTER me got their orders before I got mine. During this time there was a young man who had to leave the burger make station to help package fries and nuggets. I had noticed that he was wearing gloves but had reached into his pocket to get his phone at least 3 times. He became frustrated with the tongs necessary to grab the nuggets, sat it aside and said he was just going to use his hands. As someone who has been ServSafe certified in food safety and sanitation I immediately spoke up and said "Change your gloves, you have had your hands in your pockets at least 3 times." He asked what I said and I repeated. He left the line while removing his gloves and stayed in the office for most the rest of the time I was there. Also, during this 2 workers, Tiera and a male with long dreads, strolled in like an old lady with no sense of urgency while the other workers were panicking to get caught up. Tiera had a large afro popping out about a foot above her visor. Another health violation. She should have a net on her hair if it is not pulled back or covered by a hat. I saw neither of the two go to a hand washing sink before eventually going to help on the line. Another violation. I have nothing against these two employees. Tiera was really nice to me and i'll explain soon. But the manager should have done more managing although I appreciate she was actually helping. The other girl had to run an order out to someone parked and came back with two packs of chicken nuggets in her hand and put them BACK under the heaters. 3rd violation. Once food leaves the line and is bagged it does not go back on the line to be served to someone else. It is to be tossed into the trash. Once the 4th person that ordered after me got their food before me I approached the other girl working the line who took my order but was bagging the food at the time and asked why. She was rightfully exasperated, not at me, but at having skipped me. That's cool, relax, breath, I just want my food. She immediately got my order together and handed it to me. When I got to the car I noticed I had someone elses order along with part of my order, the two Whoppers from a 2'fer coupon. I asked to add cheese and no catchup. I got catchup but no cheese instead. I took them back in and told the girl and she had the guy with dreads make me two new burgers and properly tossed the two wrong burgers in the trash. While waiting Tiera asked if I would like a drink while waiting. She was really nice and apologetic. After receiving the two new burgers I went back to the truck, opened them up and both had no catchup, but only one had cheese. Not willing to go through this again we just sucked it up and went on about our day. I will still order from this establishment in the future. But they either need to get more people or they need to stop accepting Door Dash and other similar orders. It's too much for the sma”
