This is a colorful little strip mall spot with a great salsa bar and very friendly counter service. The salsa was fresh and there are several varieties to choose from. The wife got her favorite, Camerones a La diabla and the shrimp were clean, and simmered in a rich , red sauce. The rice and beans are perfect!! I had the shrimp taco fish taco plate. The tacos were loaded with a killer slaw, cilantro and onions, and a killer sauce. I was full off one taco but if you know me, you know I finished both. This place is 10/10 and if we lived closer, would be our go to Mexican spot.

Their chilaquiles are really really good. I just wanted there to be a little bit more meat so this is why we had an addition of Chorizo. The chilaquiles was the best thing we ordered I think. The chimichanga was yummy, not outstanding though unfortunately. Flan is a bit denser than I expected it to be. Overall pretty dang good food and I would love to see this place stay in business. Must be tough with all the competition in the area

Tried El Chacuaco for the first time today. The atmosphere is welcoming, and very clean. There are plenty of options to choose from on the menu. I chose the chicken enchiladas Mole with rice and beans. The food is hearty, Mole was great the rice was flavourful and the beans prepared as traditional refried beans should be. The staff is very attentive. We can't wait to try again!

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Carmichael . There are many, but this place tops them all imo. Delicious pastor, big chunks of avocado in their super burritos, and fantastic quesabirria. Nothing fancy, bur super solid, affordable Mexican food.

I Ordered online, my card was charged, waited 45 mins for door dash to call me and they told her they had NO ORDER!!!!On top of that door dash said they were closed at 4pm on their door. They did NOT answer the phone and their hours show closing at 830! I was in ER all day and just wanted some dinner!

Solid street tacos. I judge taquerias on the flavor of their asada street tacos and their mild or medium salsa. This place delivers. My (super picky) wife loves their chilaquiles. We've made this part of our regular Mexican joint rotation.

Popped in this joint for lunch yesterday. Service was beyond friendly. We would come back for the friendly service even if the grub was meh. Good thing that wasn't the case. Let's start with the chips and salsa. You can never go wrong with homemade chips and flavorful salsa. If ya like it hot, they have that too. Everyone loved their meals. Outstanding street tacos, and yummy crispy flautas. Carnitas were great and Chile relleno was amazing. Top it off with ice cold cervesas and you have smiles all the way around. I live in Lincoln but will definitely be back to work my way around the menu !!

Omg! Very cute place! The food was really good, the service was amazing. Very friendly I would definitely come back. Watch out for the red sauce it's is spicy, I love habaneros I felt it had a good spicy taste. The meat tasted with flavor, would highly recommend
