Excellent place to grab a meal with friends or family. The service and staff were friendly, the food delicious and large portioned, and the prices very reasonable. The atmosphere was comfy mixed with a little retro. Very fun. You should definitely give it a try.

It is seat yourself. I grabbed a small 2 topper since I was looking for a spot where I could grab a bite and work while I waited for someone to have a medical procedure done nearby. They asked if it was just one and then left 2 sets of silverware “just in case” even though I mentioned my situation. They took my order pretty quickly. The food left a lot to be desired. Potatoes seemed like they were scraped from the bottom of a pan and toast was slightly burnt around the edges. They checked on me once and then prompted me to pay before I was done eating. Didn’t seem like a friendly spot or that it was Ok to hang out and finish up what I was doing so I paid and left to figure out where I could be nearby. I get it if they needed to flip the table. If the food was better I’d go back but ….

Experienced Lido Cafe and Bakery today and I was not disappointed. Came here on a Sunday so expected to have to wait forever.. but that was not the case. Although the restaurant was packed, and a few names ahead of me they got us in pretty quick. The hostess (an older lady) was absolutely adorable and really worked that both and the room with her almost southern like hospitality.I ordered a couple sides and just made my own kind of a biscuit and gravy bowl and it was fantastic. My wife ordered the chorizo burrito which she also said was delicious. For as crowded as the restaurant was and rush hour on a Sunday morning we got in, got our food (hot even) and got out allIn a timely manner. The ambiance is typical for a shopping strip restaurant, clean, clutter free and cutesy.Parking: Parking was kinda limited but I was told there is always open parking in the back “had no clue there was even a back lot”

My favorite breakfast location. Very friendly and attentive staff, the food is prepared well and it's delicious. It's a cute diner type location with tile floors which can contribute to being load when they're busy but it's tolerable and understandable. I especially like the breakfast sausage links and wish I knew where to buy them to serve at home. Only negative is they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

What a hidden gem of a restaurant! It's not the easiest place to find but it's well worth the search. The service is fantastic, even when the cafe is full of customers, as it was when we visited it. Lunch was served promptly and tasted great. Their motto, "Best kept secret in Carmichael" is totally right. It was my first visit, my wife had been there several times before, and I will definitely be back again. I recommend that you search out the Lido!

Great staff, food, bar and bakery! Bring your friends and leave room for dessert. You can sit inside or out. Bring the pup and sit out front.

This is a hidden gem. Amazing breakfast. My wife loves the waffles. We've been about 4x's now. Consistently good food and service. There is an extra fee for credit cards, so take cash if that is an issue for you.
