The clam chowder was very disappointing. The two bites that were in the bread bowl tasted good. Proportion of bowl to chowder was 95/5. Also, just an FYI for the chicken strips: they’re pressed, like McDonald’s. Not real strips. The burger, fries and onion rings are consistently good. So stick with the basics and you’re good to go.I(t was quite cold outside, so I didn’t inspect the food before I took it home…otherwise I would have taken the bowl back)
I'm a fan of classic burger joints. The Spot has it all when providing your classic food experience, from traditional burgers to hotdogs to seafood options like fish and chips. The plus is that this place is walking distance from the beach, great when having a beach day on a sunny afternoon.

Cool outdoor restaurant has a nice variety on the menu. I had a cheeseburger, fries and a soda cost about $14.74 but like everything now days what's not. Cash only no cards ATM available. The food: fries were fresh and hot. The cheeseburger was just the right size for me at least I am not a big eater. It had cheese melted covering the whole burger. The burger itself was fresh and hot personally it was cooked medium-ish I like my hamburgers cooked medium well. ( my 4 star rating)...read full review
