“The açaí bowls taste very good. The mixture of granola, berries, other toppings, and the açaí blend create a stellar combination of sweet, sour, and savory. “Stumbled on this place after trying to find a protein fix post workout. The owner is incredible! Was able to call off the macros for everything he served. When you love what you do, the outcome is going to be amazing so I wish this location all the best. Pricing: well worth it when you consider the macros and serving size. I was able to split my $13 açaí into 2 different servings. Ordered the house coffee ($8, 22g of protein) and the dirty chai ($10, 22g protein) and the taste was really good. We had 2 different açaí bowls and took them home to add my own fruit but it comes with 3 toppings. Can't believe the macros on any of these things Not only are they healthy, but they're fairly priced and taste incredible. Will gladly be back to try the donuts and waffles . “Blue Bowl Superfoods is great! There are numerous options for acai bases and toppings. A plus is that your total isn't dependent on the number of toppings you choose but on the size of your bowl. Every time I go to Long Beach, I always look forward to indulging in acai bowls from here. The service is average. Employees are fairly friendly. The ambiance is nice. It's located inside a big food court, so it's usually busy.Overall, this place is delightful and I would recommend coming here.“

“The taiyakis are delicious, they have a lot of filling; Just consider that they are made fresh so it takes about 10 minutes to prepare. “Jennifer is the absolute best, I stumbled across this little hidden gem and I cannot say enough about the service I received from Jennifer. She let me and my co worker sample the drinks before deciding which one to get, and she makes the best organic Acai bowls. On the other note, we came back one day for lunch and I'm not sure what the lady name was that was there, she was so rude and we have not been back since. I wish Jennifer was there daily because I really loved the way her energy was and the way she made our bowl and drinks.“

“Flex protein house is such a hidden gem. I'm so happy I decided to try it out. They have so many options much more than what I thought because I went in for a meal replacement shake, but they have electrolyte drinks. They have pre-workout drinks they have post workout drinks they have during workout drinks they have Meal replacement detox shots they have refreshers they even have protein donuts, which were so delicious. The inside is a very nice upscale lounge vibe with tables, chairs, and inside that mini basketball game. Overall, the vibes were great and I will definitely be coming back.!“

Last time I went to @koolberryx a few weeks ago I was so happy when the young lady working told me that every Monday they do 20% off. Yayyy... I made a mental note and vowed to come back every Monday I was in town, which is about every other Monday. Went today only to see they were closed. I hadn't been on Yelp to see they had changed their hours a few days ago. Signage outside still indicates they would be open. Disappointed there aren't other açaí bowl options nearby. (If you know of one tell me!) The only thing else that satisfies a craving is a fruit/ vegetable juice, like Juice Lab, but they are also closed for a "remodel". Bixby knolls needs more options like this. I hope both places stay open for the long term, but the change in hours makes me nervous.“

“The happy buddha bowl goes SO HARD. Lots of flavor, and the service here is super quick. These are the acai bowls you wish you could make at home. House granola is great, and the store checks all the boxes of a cute breakfast place in Long Beach without the stress of a long wait or a disastrously overpriced menu.“

“I wasn't familiar with the chain, but was visiting someone @ Huntington and stopped in for lunch. I had a smoothie and avocado toast and it hit the spot! I came back a few days later and tried a different smoothie and got the everything topping on the toast and an egg this time and it was epic! “This is my FAVORITE smoothie bowl place in California. Saying that they are perfect is an understatement. Their fruit is beyond fresh, juicy, and sweet. Every time I visit Manhattan Beach, Paradise Bowls is a must-stop location for my friends and I. (As seen in the pictures below I've gone 3+ times and that shows how good they are). My favorite bowl here is the Peach Bum bowl, its ingredients are super well-curated and the fruits complement each other perfectly. The menu is pretty extensive and goes beyond just smoothie bowls. The prices are pretty affordable and typical for a smoothie bowl, around $10 for a size small. My photos feature the small size and there is still a pretty big portion despite its "small" labeling. The service is good, with staff being efficient. The bowls came out pretty quickly! The ambiance of the store is super cute, beachy, and has a surf shack vibe to it, perfect for the beach! The views right next to the store are extremely gorgeous featuring the Manhattan Beach coastline. This store is located close to the sand, where you can bring your bowls to picnic right next to the Pacific waves.“

“I have been wanting to stop by this business for a very long time. It's kind of off of a busy street so it makes it a little hard to pull over. I finally had the time to do so today. They have a sign that says lobster mac & cheese, which has captured my attention for months. I finally had the opportunity to check it out. I walked in, it was really quiet. There wasn't anybody here which I was kind of surprised because it is near a college and a few high schools but I feel like the business probably picks up towards the evening. Very clean, which is always a good sign. They use a clover point of sale system. Imedela was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. She guided me through the process and made excellent suggestions. I still went with the lobster mac & cheese, which is what I wanted the whole time, I ordered the lobster mac & cheese so course it's a little pricey they do have some really cool looking sides like bacon jalapeño Mac bites, but I declined. So after I gave a tip, it's literally $30 for lobster mac & cheese. But what I want I have to have so I got the order to go. It took about seven minutes maybe give or take not sure I didn't keep my eye on the clock. I parked, and I'm waiting for my friend to come downstairs so I lift up the lid and it smells delicious. I take my first bite. The cheese pull the lobster. It was worth the wait so delicious I am ecstatic! Oh, I am in heaven this is absolutely delicious! YAY!!!! Imelda said that there is parking around the back. I didn't see where she was talking about but I guess you'd have to kind of go around the block and figure it out. The only thing that I can say that I did not like is their choice of utensil I like a heavier utensil. This is a Spork nothing wrong with a Spork but it's one of the flimsier ones. I would've liked to have had a heavier utensil that's my only issue other than that I will be back those bacon jalapeño mac & cheese bites are mine!!“

“It's a great little spot attached to Iconix gym. After a workout sometimes I treat myself to a protein smoothie. Everything I've had has been good, favorite so far is the strawberry shortcake. My only suggestion would be for the menu to list calories and protein amounts. That would be awesome!“

“This place is a good alternative to fast food places where most thing are fried. Service is friendly and can slow down during peak hours. Even then the wait is reasonable. It's in a little shopping strip with parking there or on the street, and is pretty easy to get to.“

Nekter is centrally located and has convenient parking, so it's fast and easy to pick up my acai bowl when I'm not in the mood to make a full meal on my own. You pick between a regular or large size. We came here after eating sushi for lunch so we were a bit peckish, but eating the regular size brought us over the edge. There were some indoor tables available and a lot more outdoor seating. The outdoor seating was super pleasant and there was a fountain that added to a soothing environment. Free parking. I went with the Peanut Butter acai bowl ($12) since these make for an incredible combination. Bowls include granola, bananas, and either honey or agave (the latter is my preferred vegan option), and I added on strawberries for an additional kick in fruit content.The acai blend was fantastic and the toppings made the bowl effortlessly delicious. I was able to finish it all by myself and believe me, it was hard not to have it all in one sitting.While not really a dine-in type of spot, Beach Bowls makes a great grab-and-go stop and you can enjoy it at one of the many public benches located in the area.“

I’d try them all if they weren’t so pricey but since I usually only come once a month or so I stick to my old faithful and fairly healthy Age Buster. It’s super yummy and has a lot of good nutrition in it. My spouse jumps around to different flavors more than me and he is always happy with what he gets. “Went with my family last night and the gentleman working was so attentive and kind. First my 4 yr old dropped her spoon and before we could even as for a new one, the employee was already onto of it and handed us a new one. “The only way this place could be better is if there was an outdoor seating area to chill out in. The Kokomo smoothie was so delicious I basically inhaled it. The Razz Party bowl got 2 thumbs up from the little. We ordered a small and she almost finished it!Kid-friendliness: it's a big customer area where kids can run around a bit but there's no place to sit and the 'bar' is a little high for littles. It's essentially a take out place so the location itself isn't so kid friendly but the food certainly is.“

“Rock'n Juice really stands out from the rest of the juice/smoothie spots in town in the best way possible. Not only are their ingredients fresh and delicious, they put lots of thought into their brand. You see it in the title of each item on their menu to the music playing inside. My cousin and I really enjoyed our acai bowls. The small is such a great portion. I was also very satisfied and pleased with the flavor and quality of their ingredients. The young lady, Aisha, was truly helpful. Informed me about the possibilities for toppings! I loved the almond granola + coconut shavings. Got a medium to share! I understand wait time because other orders require them to craft rolls from scratch and it's not just scooping ice cream from a bucket onto a cone and calling it a day. It's a place where individual ingredients are crafted per order. I know customers can be impatient due to the fast paste places they frequent.
