Keep in mind though that you cannot go inside the cafe currently, as they still have a makeshift outdoor ordering table for COVID.“

“Cafe Pruvia is one of the most underrated spots in the South Bay for boba. They definitely perfected the milk teas! Although I'm not a big milk tea guy, their drinks are quite impressive. Strawberry milk tea with black tea is so refreshing but also satisfies that milk crave. If you are looking for a fruit tea, I recommend the peach green tea as it is nice and tart. They also have amazing service and are very welcoming. Not to mention, it is a perfect place to study or work, as it is always packed with college students studying on their computers. I will say, the boba pearls can be inconsistent. Some days I would go and the boba will be really small while other days they will be just right. That's their only flaw. Other than that, I highly recommend cafe pruvia if you want quality teas!“
“After bowling a couple games, I decided to stop in Cal Bowl Coffee Shop for a bite to eat. Went with something simple and healthy. A salad with the works. After placing my order (I was the only customer) I started wondering what was taking so long. Grab the salad out of the fridge and serve. Much to my surprise, the guy made the salad there on the spot. Fresh ingredients, including bacon, turkey, cheese, crisp fresh veggies and slices of egg! No pre-made salad sitting for days ... made there on the spot, and wow! Excellent. Seems everything is pretty much made this way. Definitely worth a short wait because the food and flavor is rewarding. AND my order was just a salad. LoL. Will be back to sample some of the special doughnuts and a cooked meal. “Now it became a shop of BOBA GRANDE under the new management. They are so kind and friendly. The shop is very clean and all equipment looked new. Taro boba which was my all time favorite, was so good and rich flavor in it. And I tried two Taiyaki, I've seen a lot on K-dramas :) it became my recommended bread of this store. I tried sausage, and pizza Taiyaki. You can actually see the whole process of cooking it. “Podong offers unique Korean drinks from injeolmi to Korean pear! I was immediately drawn to their retro interior and free Photo Booth inside. The decor is extremely well thought out and fits their concept perfectly. You can order on the tablet or with the cashier. Even though they have 4 tables with chairs, it feels more like a grab and go place. Large parking lot outside. As for the drinks: - soul Thai milk tea 5/5 - strawberry yakult 4/5 - - Korean pear 3/5 Note: the boba is on the sweeter side I'm really sad they discontinued their sweet rice drink! I hope they bring it back. It was my favorite!!“

They had a couple of seating areas and the noise level is pretty quiet(unless it gets busy) and their background music isn't loud. Perfect location since it's right across Lunasia(Dim Sum restaurant) Their customer service is great! They were nice and helpful. No complaints about anyone :DI usually ordered their Fresh Taro Latte or Sweet Taro Sago Latter Frappe and they never disappoint. I would highly recommend their taro drinks if you're a taro lover. Their taro drinks are artificial they don't use any powdered taro :) Can't wait to try their other drinks!“

Got the Ube & Taro blend, Sesame and ginger blend (was worried the ginger would be too strong, but it was barely in it, which was fine with us!), red bean blend, and Vietnamese coffee. All of them were very tasty and true to their named flavors.I usually get no sweetness in Boba because milk teas and the pearls will usually already have some sweetness to them. However, with these drinks, I might actually recommend adding a tiny bit of sweetness to balance out the "raw" ingredient flavors a bit.I could be misled, but the boba drinks tasted like they were made with the real ingredients and not flavored with syrups or other imitation ingredients. One of the best, true to the ingredient tasting boba spots I've had. Would definitely recommend!“
