The food was absolutely amazing. I got the brisket po'boy and my wife got the surf'n'turf po'boy. We were greeted by Norwood and he explained everything about the menu and their service philosophy. The environment was so friendly and the food was better than anticipated. I can't believe the po'boys were only $13. You gotta try this!!

The shrimp Po’Boys here are absolutely AMAZING! As well as the Jambalaya and tater salad. My wife and I just found this restaurant today and stopped in for a quick bite. We are both born and raised in New Orleans, so it’s always iffy when getting Louisiana foods in different states, but let me tell you WE WERE BLOWN AWAY at how amazing the food was! Actually we even think it’s better than a lot of places in the actual French quarter! The customer service is unmatched as well, the owner who is also from New Orleans was in and was so very kind, welcoming and really made us feel like family! Which is exactly what he said to us. It’s almost impossible to find anywhere that brings that kind of hospitality to the table, and this place is THE place to go for not only an amazing experience, but beautifully executed and flavorful food as well! Will be back again and again. Thank you Darrow’s New Orleans Grill!

Hi Norwood (owner), longtime customer here. The customer service I recieved yesterday was horrible. The woman at the cash register treated me like a common criminal and lied about not having change for a $100 bill. I am a restaurant executive with over 20 yrs of experience and this was unacceptable! If you are in a community of color and cannot treat the patrons in a cival manner...leave! I was visiting Carson from Orange County and I will never make the mistake of recycling my dollars with you again.

This was a wonderful place! The Po Boys were amazing! The beignets were different in texture, but tasted better than Cafe Du Monde's in my opinion. The host was amazing and made us feel very welcome. Would hope to come back sometime in the future:)
