I’ve been coming here for years and I must say they are the only one that very close to authentic Hawaiian style poke. Fresh and delicious.But I’ve noticed that the service has gone down lately. The new worker just doesn’t have the warmth and welcoming attitude that the previous worker.
Poke Etc was such an underrated and hidden gem for me! We stumbled upon this place while looking for lunch near Ikea and it's a totally random hole in the wall poke joint serving amazing food in the middle of the city. Serving sizes are huge and you won't be able to find this kind of value anywhere else. I got the limu and shoyu which both transported me right back to my days on Kauai and Maui. This is not a build your own poke place and they use flavors that you would find on the island, so the flavors might not be for everyone.But for me, this is the place! When ever I miss home, or even just around, I always come by and grab a bowl.The flavor is excellent. The portions are fantastic. And they got Musubi if you need.Just come early or you’ll get the old stuff.Btw Ginger is my favorite but if you want something more mainland the Cali or Mayo are friggin good too....read full review
