This is not a build your own poke place and they use flavors that you would find on the island, so the flavors might not be for everyone. But for me, this is the place! When ever I miss home, or even just around, I always come by and grab a bowl. The flavor is excellent. The portions are fantastic. And they got Musubi if you need.Just come early or you’ll get the old stuff.Btw Ginger is my favorite but if you want something more mainland the Cali or Mayo are friggin good too. Go experiment. Try something new ?

I don’t know how they have the rating they have but the food taste so old and has no flavor! To top it off the rice was so hard! My kids were so grossed out it was so disgusting. We ordered 4 plates and some sides it was so disappointing. We all immediately regretted going here. It taste nothing like Hawaii Poke so I don’t know where people are saying that. If you want some poke that taste like it’s from Hawaii HONU POKE in Lomita is way better and worth every dollar. My shoyu chicken plate the chicken was under cooked as well. I never like to say bad things but honestly this place really sucked! Never ever going back again we threw our food away that’s how bad it was! Poke is not IT!!!!!! Oh btw they forgot my poke for my plate as well. Mac salad needs ALOT of work! It just taste like boiled noodles and someone just threw sugar on it nothing else.

I’ve been coming here for years and I must say they are the only one that very close to authentic Hawaiian style poke. Fresh and delicious. But I’ve noticed that the service has gone down lately. The new worker just doesn’t have the warmth and welcoming attitude that the previous worker.

Poke Etc was such an underrated and hidden gem for me! We stumbled upon this place while looking for lunch near Ikea and it's a totally random hole in the wall poke joint serving amazing food in the middle of the city. Serving sizes are huge and you won't be able to find this kind of value anywhere else. I got the limu and shoyu which both transported me right back to my days on Kauai and Maui. There's no seating inside but service is quick and cordial and it's a great lunch to take to go.

So much food for such great value, especially compared to mainland-style poke spots. The ratio of poke to rice is fantastic, and so is the quality of the fish.So this is not like most poke places on the mainland where you choose multiple scoops of fish and vegetables and mix it in sauce to top your rice. This poke is Hawaiian poke, which is primarily tuna poke that has been marinated prior and is served to you usually by the pound and served with plain rice. I tried their Chili Garlic, Spicy Mayo, Basic Spicy and Fresh Ginger. My favorite by far is the fresh ginger. The ginger flavor is not overwhelming, and it compliments the flavors of the tuna perfectly!! I also got their mac salad, which I was unfortunately not a huge fan of. It had a very fragrant aroma of macadamia nuts, which I was not used to. Next time, I would like to try their salmon and tako (octopus) as well. They also have a wide variety of Hawaiian snacks, like musubi and li-hing sweets.

Just like eating poke in Hawaii! There's even have ogo in their poke! Delicious They have everything! Lau lau, Kailua pork, Portuguese sausage and treats. The place is small but it's pack with goodness. And the price is reasonable. Must try!

We wanted some poke and was too far from our go to Jus Poke. We got the spicy salmon and shoyu poke bowl. The fish didn't seem fresh and was overly sauced. The service wasn't that pleasant, the employee that took our order wasn't that helpful or friendly. If you buy a drink, be aware they don't have ice or cups, so the drinks are only as cold as the temp of the display fridge. The restaurant has plenty of parking, no seating outside or inside, so it's a grab and go. We probably won't be coming here again. I hate giving bad reviews, but felt the need to here. Best of luck to the business.

I got the create your own poke which is supposed to include 2 poke flavors, furikake rice, and seaweed salad for $13.95. Ours didn't come with the seaweed salad because they forgot to include it. The prices are reasonable and they do give you good portions. I got the spicy mayo and cali hawaiian, the flavors were pretty good but the fish was not fresh. As others have mentioned, the service here is pretty poor and staff is rude. It's a grab and go place, so no seating inside.

Was interested in trying Poke Etc after seeing some videos online promoting the San Diego location. I thought I'd give this location a try, but it was definitely a mistake. Service was among the worst I've experienced recently. The girl sitting there was stone cold. I probably would have gotten more hospitality or emotion from an automated machine. In some cases, I'm able to brush aside bad service if the food is good. Unfortunately, that was not the case here either. Ordered the spicy mayo and chili garlic poke. The quality and texture of the fish was so off putting. It's clear they use lower quality frozen fish. The texture was that of something that was frozen and not thawed properly. The flavors were bland and uninteresting. Chili garlic flavor just tasted strongly of sambal and all the seeds made it annoying to eat. Would not recommend this place at all. Poor service, low quality fish, no redeeming qualities.

I've been to Hawaii a few times and love their poke and I'm so happy to have come across Poke Etc because it's spot on to the poke in Hawaii! I got two flavors, ahi limu and oyster. Both were very delicious and fresh but I prefer ahi limu because it's mixed with seaweed. I highly recommend this place if you want authentic Hawaiian poke.

I love this place!! I rarely write reviews, but enjoyed my experience so much that I had to make it known. I got the 2 poke plate, and the portions were AMAZING and the poke was so fresh and flavorful! Much better than jus poke in Redondo.

Omg, huge scoops of poke! But that's all you get with rice & little seaweed. The fish is really fresh. I liked the ginger poke. Fresh & clean, not much sauce. The Shoyu was in sauce, good. I also asked for 1/4 lb of the Cali poke, it had mayo & other stuff (imitation crab?) not my jam. Cute little shop with various island snacks & gifts. Great value for the quality & quantity.
