If I could give this place a zero I would they don't have any costumer service the food was disgusting I spent almost 200 bucks worth of garbage half of it I threw at the trash can......don't waste your money go find a real Japanese sushi this ain't it.

Great sushi, friendly staff, top notch quality in an unsophisticated place, good for families. Have inside and outside dining (covered enclosed patio) and to go. I'll be back!

This is one of the best sushi places in the whole Coachella Valley. It's family owned and operated, it's a hidden gem! PLEASE NOTE!!! The reviews of the 1 star, are not really reviews. I eat at this place once a week, they have signs posted on each table explaining the credit card processing fee. I don't understand why people complain for paying for their own processing fee, AMPM does it, and most establishments are moving towards, passing the credit card fees on to their clients and that's okay! We as consumers need to understand that a business has so many bills, (Rent, business Insurance, Workers comp, payroll fees, sales tax, income tax) and the list goes on. Why do we give them bad reviews when all they are trying to do is provide a good service? A 4% surcharge on my own bill for using my own credit card is NOT a big deal! Memo's sushi has not increased their prices since Memo took over this business. There's sushi restaurants that are charging $18.95 per roll, yet Memo still keeps his prices low and all he does is pass on the credit card fees to us. I feel that this is a fair trade off. Let's stop complaining over cents and start supporting the local business owners that have been hit severely hard cause of COVID! It's either that or we tell Memo to raise his prices and cover the cost of processing credit cards. STOP COMPLAINING!!!! A $75 bill cost you a $3 processing fee on your card.... Your complaining over $3!!!???? Really?? Am I understanding this correctly that a consumer can't pay a $3 fee for your OWN credit card! Then do yourself a favor and stay home! Otherwise if your reading this review, support your local restaurants and don't give bad reviews for $3!!!?!!!!! Thank you Memo for your good food and service, don't worry about these snowbirds and non- locals, and Canadians!!! Keep providing your good food and good service and like I said I don't mind paying my own credit card processing!

There is a general problem with the whole establishment, from the front of the house through to the food, which smacks of unprofessionalism. The food is clumsy and lacks the finesse of true Japanese cuisine, the food is loaded with rice and bombarded with teriyaki sauce almost across the board. There is a 4% service charge for the processing of credit cards which is not posted anywhere at the entrance, you only discover it when its time to pay which is just deceptive. The bill is written on a piece of paper which is was not clear, and upon checking the bill there were several mistakes. I had to ask the manager to fix them twice and even then they couldn't calculate the tax properly. There is plenty of excellent Sushi in the desert, don't choose this place.

Fun local sushi restaurant with some creative specialty rolls. I recommend the stuft fried calamari and the house roll. Defiantly not a traditional sushi place, there a lot of Hispanic fusion in the rolls. The rolls are also very large. You defiantly won't go home hungry, or unsatisfied. If you are looking for a fancy traditional sushi place this is not it. If you are looking for something casual, unique and a great time, then come here.

Food, drinks, & service is great my only problem is that the bill doesn't add up. The first time my bill was pretty expensive (for 3 people) so I asked for an itemized receipt and the waitress looked shocked that I asked her that so she came back with a different receipt (was not itemized) just another receipt of what she wrote down. I was just tired and wanted to leave so we just paid and left. Decided to try it out again the other night and this time I made sure to check prices. Pricing was definitely different then the ones shown on the menu. Seems to me by the other reviews there's a problem with the bill not adding up. This time i was overcharged by a couple dollars which isn't as bad as the first time. If pricing has changed please update the menu prices. I don't mind paying the price just don't overcharge your customers if the prices are correct on the menu you provide.

Chino roll, Cabo roll, Fried yellow lemon peppers all were insanely delicious. One dish spicy, one was not spicy. Both were melt in your mouth fabulous. The fried lemon peppers were mildly spicy, an had a good crunch. Looking forward to going back for more...after we finish our take home goodies. The dishes are large enough to share. We bought two dishes, and now have enough to share again at home. As a bonus, servers were very friendly and service was fast and accurate.
