We try to be a once-a-weeker at this charming, clean, upscale hot dog/slider cozy eatery near where we stay for winter. I would call it diner style except they are the higher round tables and a few rectangle tables. Owner's clearly wants happy/delighted customers and bends backwards to even turn sour pickles into sweet gherkins! His assistant chef is equally professional in his prep and appearance. All this for the price of an upscale hot dog!! I am a fan of the Chicago-style dog, my friend loves the Brat dog and our guest loved the Cat City dog! On top of the attentive staff, they surprise you with complimentary Mimosa on Saturday. Who else does that? The high quality dog and bun are the draw along with the strawberry lemonade as well as beer for those who must....

Got the hot Italian sausage. It was a great dog. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. He definitely makes the place for sure. The fries were either overcooked or cooked in old oil. I lean for the latter based off past experiences of other places that didn’t change their oil very often. It’s a really good dog, however it’s impossible to walk out of the restaurant for under $20 with just a single dog, fries, and soda. I easily could have enjoyed another as I surely wasn’t full but no way I’m having a $30 lunch of just dogs and fries. Maybe a special of 2 for $15 for those with bigger appetites? I could go for that.

Nice selection of hot dogs. All are all beef Nathan dogs and are very tasty. Nice clean environment with quick and friendly service. This was my first time but I'l be back.

Quaint, clean "hole-in-the-wall" hot dog joint. Super friendly service. Shows pride of ownership. Ordered a chili dog. It was tasty, and huge! Chili was quite good...no beans! The wife ordered a regular dog and was also quite happy. My Coke came in a chilled glass mug, with a free refill if I wanted. Definitely a place to check out!

Food is fresh and delicious. Staff is friendly. Progressive in the restaurant industry, this establishment does not accept tips. Weenee road house is clean and cozy.

Was craving a Chicago dog and found this gem. Dog was delicious and so were chili cheese fries!
Good customer service. Very friendly. A little pricey, but everything is these days. Ordered the cat city dog, special fries, and corn bread muffin. Fries were soggy. But the chili was delicious. Wished the food was hot. Everything was just luke warm. Will return to try again.

Visited this place a few weeks ago! FYI, parking may be a struggle when visiting during lunch hours. It's a very clean environment when you walk in, and the owner immediately greets you! Prices are very affordable, if you're craving a hot dog. I ordered the vegetarian hot dog, and a choice of three toppings with fries. In my honest opinion, the fries were a little bit soggy, but the hotdog was fine. I wish I would've asked if they can melt the cheese on top, but maybe next time! I'm sure with time the business will only get better, so thank you for a delicious meal!
