“I'm writing this review with a sight hesitation. You know the feeling you get when you like something so much you want it all for yourself? Sunny on South gave me that feeling. I went there for breakfast twice in one month, which is too often for me. I want this place to be there for me from now on, but I don't want to have to wait 45 minutes for a table. However, the wait will be worth it! This place has amazing food and great service! The first time I went I had the Short Rib Birria Benedict (ridiculous)! And I asked the waitress to leave the menu so I could see what else was available. As I was eating I found myself wondering what I was going to order the next time I went. I'm a sucker for a Reuben sandwich and they have a Monte Cristo! That's what I had the second time. The Monte Cristo says they "politely decline substitutions" because they prepare them in-house ahead of time. How bad-ass is that?! The service was friendly and attentive...and the 90's/2000's music made me want to hang out and enjoy a great morning. It's easy to give a restaurant 5 stars when they are good and down the street, so I rarely give 5 stars. But this place gets 5 stars because it's worth going out of your way to eat there. YOU HAVE TO GO!“

“This little spot is a straight up delight. Definitely designed to cater to treating yourself, Postres Cafe is an adorable little spot located in downtown Bellflower. While the food comes with a slightly hefty price tag, the quality is worth it. Came in on a Thursday morning, there was one person behind the counter who functioned as a cashier, barista, and server. They did an excellent job and were very sweet. I ordered a Cinnamon Crunch Latte and a breakfast bagel, not entirely sure what to expect. Cinnamon Crunch Latte: Really smooth espresso, with enough milk to mellow the flavor without losing it. It was sweet without being overwhelming, and had lots of rich cinnamon notes. It was tasty and I can share I have the best caffeine buzz right now. Breakfast Bagel: Don't come expecting a bagel with cream cheese, this isn't your typical bagel. Loaded with egg, bacon, and turkey, this is a protein bomb. There is mayonnaise and shredded cheese, which was interesting and I'm not sure how I felt about it at first, but I did wonder up devouring the whole thing. Somehow it worked. Next time, I'mma splurge on the chilaquiles. Definitely recommend this spot, both for solo dining or for an early coffee date with friends. Plenty of seating and an ambiance as sweet as their postres. Go check them out.“

“Server: Madison - She's so amazing and lovely and attentive (but not overly)! Also, a winning personality and very hospitable. Food: 1) House Burger w/ Gluten Free Bun - So tasty! The chef(s) are absolute flavor artists. Love is in all their food creations. (Gluten free bun is NOT dull and dry, it's one of the good ones). 2) Crispy Rice/Spicy Albacore - Dude, what the heck!? We've had these apps at every restaurant that has them and for me this was the best creation/version. It was diced fish, not 'finely minced' like other places, with yummy sauce and red pepper flakes (nice touch!) on immaculately seared rice patties! Ambiance: Outdoor eating area has heaters for when it's chillier, and it's very floral and nature'y. Lovely! Prices:Reasonable for the level of effort put into the food! Love this place.“

“I was here for my birthday, delicious food did not took food pictures, but it was just delicious!Four people ordered one plate for each one and only one person finished the food. Pancakes were my favorite, fluffy, tender well cooked, big delicious. Coffee good. Food taste just like hone made from grandma house!! Staff efficient, great price and clean. Parking is small but there is street parking as well.Parking: Small parking area, but there is street parking as well“

“I have been going to Uncle Bud's for over 33 years it's like eating at home in your grandma's kitchen. Great food great service reasonable prices highly recommend it it's only open till about 11:30 I believe her the hours may want to check but totally worth it!“

“Favorite cafe in Downtown Fullerton!I recommend getting chicken pesto sandwich or avo-campania. The chicken pesto is served warm and it’s cheesy and yummy. Decent amount of chicken and ciabatta has a nice toasty crunch to it. As someone who is a meat lover, I was pleasantly surprised by avo-campania which is a vegetarian sandwich containing mushrooms, artichoke hearts, avocado on flax bread. Like that’s all the things I don’t like to eat but I tried it when my mom ordered it and I was like that is SO GOOD. I want to learn the recipe GOOD. The artichoke hearts, sliced mushrooms are held together by the creamy avocado and pesto and it just somehow creates a harmonious enriching taste. I wish they offered half half combo because I want to eat half of each sandwich at the same time lolTheir chai latte is also good too if you are looking for something to drink :) They also have free water on dispenser behind the utensils as well.The cafe itself has decent amount of indoor seating but there’s also outside seating in the courtyard if you enter the cafe and go out the back door. I highly recommend sitting at the courtyard if weather permits because it feels special with the architecture and plants.Vegetarian options: Avo-campania is really good!!! I highly recommend it.“

“If you have to try anything, get the pork belly bowl! Great balance of flavors between the fattiness of the pork, the tang from the pickled onions, kick from the salsa, neutralized by the avocado, all on a bed of brown rice. And of course… can’t forget that sunny side up egg and breaking that yolky goodness to run all over everything. Kinda healthy, definitely comforting, and absolutely deliciousness!“

“Great little brunch spot! They seem to be known for their shaved ice but their breakfast items are amazing! The avo toast has delicious ricotta on top. They also have an amazing french toast and other items. The macaron flavors are also super underrated! It's about $45-50 for a couple with coffee drinks and breakfast.“

“my absolute favorite breakfast spot ever. the staff is so kind and attentive. I was also able to chat with restaurant owner and she is the sweetest person. Everytime I come and visit I always make sure to get a champagne bucket or atleast a mimosa, they are so bomb. Lots of vegan/vegetarian options as well. “Delicious, unique brunch food! (My friend and I shared ube french toast and mango habanero omelette.) A bit expensive compared to other nearby brunch restaurants, but the food is much more unique that makes it worth it. Will definitely be back!“

“I loved my visit! It did not take very long to get seated if you get there early enough. The food was great I got the smoked salmon avocado toast. Such a big portion. It was delicious! I also got a tea and it was a lot! I would highly recommend going there for breakfast!“

“My aunt I came for the first time.I do therapy next door so I thought I try for BD celebration.Wow, never heard of this place.The chicken and waffles qhere so good.I had the coconut orange juice. Very delicious.Now my kids are taking me for BD in the Downey one.Praying they are just as good.“

“I always roam around and try to find good quality food and service. And thank God I found another Gem. When I walked in I didn't expect too much since they just opened (8am), but to my surprise, staff was super friendly, smiling, and helpful. The atmosphere made me feel like at my grandma's back in Germany.I started my morning with a latte and I have to say it was the best one I had in a long time. Armando definitely made the best mocca/latte which can compete in taste with cafes in Europe....just impressive!Sol was my waitress and very attentive. Not once was she missing when I needed something and she always had a great smile and a really good attitude.I ordered chicken and waffle and it was divine. Potatoes, waffles, chicken...I mean...did my grandma wake up from the dead andstartd working here in this kitchen? No way...how can it be this good.I'm a very, very spoiled fine dining kind of eater and have to say this Cafe rates amongst the top 5 cafes I have been to, all over the world. YES, IT'S THAT GOOD.It just so happened that the owner Aya was in. I thought she was the dishwasher because she was in the kitchen washing dishes. Very lovely and humble lady. Which owner washes dishes in a busy Cafe like this?!?!Very impressive, she really cares about detail and I believe she is a perfectionist when it comes to her Cafe.I'm so glad I got to meet her and question her about her food and she definitely offers the best quality food around. Bathrooms, kitchen and all was also very clean.Don't take my word. Come check it out. You will not regret it!.“
