“Stopped by Perro Exquisite Taco in Cerritos and it's a solid spot. We got the Perro Taco, Veggie Taco, Breakfast Perro Taco, and Keto Taco, and honestly, the tacos are way bigger than I thought — one taco is basically a full meal. Definitely plan accordingly if you’re ordering a few. The Perro Taco was my favorite — the asada was cooked well and had good flavor without being too heavy. The Keto Taco was a pleasant surprise, really well put together and filling. Overall, it’s a good spot if you’re craving hearty tacos that actually satisfy. The portions are generous, the flavors hit consistently. I'd definitely go back.”

Henry was our server, he was very nice, very patient and over all a great server. Managed to get everyone’s food and drinks out as ordered in a timely manner. Food was as expected. It was more like somyeon (thin wheat noodles) in kalguksu broth, not what I expected. It started with my misunderstanding, and I appreciate them trying to accommodate my request, but I was completely disappointed as it was a different dish. In my opinion, it would be better if they informed customers that what they requested isn't on the menu.This has been my favorite kalguksu place for a long time. “Yesterday, Jan. 17, 2022, at around 2:39 P.M., my wife and I had lunch. I highly commend the staff for following the health protocol of checking the proof of vaccination of their customers. We were approached by a young lady waitress who took our orders and after a while, we were served our lunch order. Then came the time we had to pay our lunch bill. We called her attention and she handed us the bill book but she left right away after pouring the leftover broth in the styrofoam containers but we still have some food to go but she left without finishing her job with us and leaving the book with our payment. We saw her by the door greeting new customers coming in and totally ignoring our presence and stood there nonchalantly as if we were invisible. She should have finished with us before attending to new customers. This is a “no-no” for a business place like this! Not all customers are honest and could have slipped out without paying their bill on a case like this. All I did was to stand up and hand our payment to another waiter who was around. This lady waitress did not totally come back to us. I would like to call the attention of Yuzu Shabu Management to address the and take action to this matter and to monitor this behavior of its staff. In any business, Customer satisfaction is of utmost importance. Thank you for your kind attention!”

We had a great experience at this BBQ restaurant! The food was delicious, fresh, and cooked perfectly. What really made our visit special was our waiter, Chae. He was so nice, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire meal. He made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us regularly, and created a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel very comfortable. His excellent service truly stood out and made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

The only small disadvantage was that some desserts were not available during our visit, especially the matcha crepe cake and chocolate crepe cake, which we were looking forward to trying.

Overall, it was still a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place, and if you get Chae as your waiter, you’re in great hands! 🔥🍖😊”

“Beard Papa’s in Cerritos is hands down one of my favorite dessert spots. After years of always driving out to the one in Gardena and finding out there is a Cerritos location local to me I had to stop on by and it did NOT disappoint. The cream puff was made fresh to order, so the shell was perfectly light with a pleasant crunch, with different fillings you can choose from and if you're a fan of lighter cream you can definitely ask for 1 pump instead!

They also had a great selection of other flavors, which made it hard to choose. The classic vanilla custard is always a safe go-to—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The chocolate custard was deep and not overly sweet, and the matcha had a nice earthy flavor that wasn’t bitter at all. I also love that you can choose different shells, like the original, or chocolate flavors and other seasonal flavors (Our personal favorite is the Strawberry and the Monster Hunter Wilds Cola flavor collab!)

The staff was friendly and efficient, even with a line, and the store was clean and well organized. You can tell they take pride in making everything fresh because nothing tasted soggy or rushed. Beard Papa’s does an awesome job with seasonal flavors and collabs, and the Cerritos location consistently delivers, it really drives home the same great flavor as the same Beard Papa's back in Japan!

This is my second time visiting since they moved across the street. The store is very clean and feels brand new. The staff were young, friendly, and pleasant, which made the visit enjoyable.

Unfortunately, both visits had the same issue: missing toppings. They didn’t have hot chocolate syrup, which is essential for a banana split. The whipped cream was flat and seemed watered down, likely from being left out too long. Making a banana split isn’t hard, but without the right ingredients, the experience falls short. The alternative topping combinations didn’t really work either.

If the manager sees this, I hope you make sure all toppings are consistently available and fresh.
