Staff was really nice. Very chintzy on the meat. The lettuce was slightly brown. And the onions were very strong and pungent because they were old. (Ie. Not cut fresh every day. These onions were at least a day or two old)

Has been a while since I had a sandwich here. Looked like they were out of business when I walked in. Still thought I'd give it a shot. Asked for a full sandwich. Roast beef and cheese with the works. Got it to go! They literally put one slice of meat for ever bite you take. Very little toppings. It's basically like eating a bread sandwich. So $13.56 cents later I was completely underwhelmed. Will not be going back.

Kona's downtown ordering system is a mess. I made a call to order a sandwich and the woman on the phone didn't understand English well so took 15 minutes to make sense to her so she understood my order. Next, I got a text saying my order was canceled and that I "will be reimbursed in 5 days"!!! I just wanted a sandwich. I called the shop and they said that grub hub took their calls and that they didn't know about my order. DONT GO TO KONAS DOWNTOWN CHICO. YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF. GO TO A RESPECTABLE SANDWICH SHOP. KONAS IS ANOTHER FLY BY NIGHT TWEAKER DREAM OF STEALING YOUR MONEY. DONT SHOP AT KONAS. YOU WILL BE LEFT LOOKING FOR WAYS TO GET YOUR MANEY BACK. THESE GUYS ARE THIEVES.

Not satisfied. Lettuce on a sandwich and over 10$ is not a good start. I would expect better greens chosen. And also the amount of stuff given is no where near enough for how thick the bread is. Overall Chico could and does better elsewhere. Surprised this place sill open
