This place is terrible. Food portions are for toddlers. They bring one plate at a time as if it’s enough for the whole party. Your fighting for damn scraps. The service is just as bad. No wonder many locations have closed. Took asking 3 times for hot sauce, rice paper, ridiculous!

This place doesn’t accept Apple Pay a girl waiter told me when paying, I when all around the the bank to take out money but I wasn’t able to get cash back. They were look at my partner like if she was going to run out with out pay even though we had a baby with us. At the end the lady said they do appreciate Apple Pay. Like what hell I when all around wasted 45 minutes when all long they did get my Apple Pay. Like next time say or have a sign in the front of the door.

Jarod manager walks up to us after we had already been waiting 10 minutes to put us on a "20 min" waiting list with absolutely no one in front of us and countless open tables. 3 groups of people behind us left because they were sick of waiting. I get the wait if they were busy but explain why we are waiting a half hour ?

This used to be my favorite Gen location, and I've been to roughly a dozen of them. The last two times I've been there, the quality of the food and service has gone downhill. We asked to sit at an open booth and were told the grill wasn't working, so we sat at a cramped wall lined table. The staff they do have is courteous and attentive but they are so understaffed that we ended up waiting a long time for drinks and food. There are several other KBBQs in the area which we'll have to try instead.Everything used to be amazing at this Gen, from food to service, and I hope they can return to that level.

I love Gens but I unfortunately after the pandemic thier service has been horrible. Their staff looks like they are hustling but I just think that they are under staffed. Guess I am going to have think I am going to have to find an alternative ?

I watched them serve 3 tables that came in at the same time as me and two tables that came in after me while we didn’t even receive water for over 20 minutes and it’s not even busy, it’s literally Tuesday. Everyone in the restaurant was moving slow, We have worked in busier restaurants and don’t understand how you guys were allowed to move that slow and at first I was seated at a table with a broken light and requested to have my table moved then when I said thank you the busser he just side eyed me. This is the second time we’ve had to walk out of this particular Gen because we received no help after waiting 25 mins last time after already waiting forever to be seated and that was during COVID times and was actually busy so they at least had an excuse, we were hoping they’d redeem themselves this time but we definitely just will not be returning to this one anymore.
