Review has been long overdue for this place. I was a bit overwhelmed at first but since it looked like they had a huge menu, but the staff was really nice to helping to what to choose. Loved that the store also had some nice art.Even if the place says lettuce, they had a ton of different delicious protein to add to your salad. I got the surf and turf, and it came with two dressings/ sauces. Very unique, would go more if this was closer to me.Will definitely stop by if I was in the area! Thanks for showing how salad can be made in so many different ways for one’s enjoyment. Until next time !

Excellent choice for us. We had the ham and cheese with the Chili con Carne, OMG! it was amazing. The sourdough was grilled to perfection and the chili had a just the right flavor and spice for this Texan. The owner came over and greeted us which in my book says a lot for a business. I'll recommend this eatery to all my friends in the area.

-ProsI needed a salad spot that had good serving size and flavor. I chose the Chopstick Dynasty salad which has a really tasty sesame dressing which I would order again any day. However knowing what I know now, I would exclude the chow mein and wonton strips.There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian plates that make it easy to mix and match for dietary restrictions.-ConsThe cashier was a little short with me, and I felt like I needed to make my decisions too quickly.At the same time it felt like there was too much going on in the dining room, that was too personal, to enjoy my meal entirely. I will still give it another try simply for the large range of menu options there.-SuggestionsWhat I want to see is more dark leafy greens options as these are not common in salad dishes for some reason, even though they have higher nutrient content.

Salad was extremely fresh and grilled proteins (I had shrimp and my friend had surf & turf) were perfectly seasoned. Staff were very friendly - they checked on us several time when we enjoyed our meal even though it wasn’t a full-service (order at counter and self pickup) environment. We came at lunch time, there wasn’t a line and we got our food pretty fast. Definitely recommend!

Perfectly fresh meals for the vegan and vegetarian lovers. Also if you watch your diet, this would be perfect for a satisfying but not calorie intensive lunch or dinner. The service is friendly and family like. The dining area is very clean and pleasant. I will return again and again.

Apple nut cruncher, dynasty salad, both added chicken. Chicken didn't match the flavor profile of salads. The chicken was very dry. The chicken quesadilla was just ok. Service was quick and even had the pleasure of interacting with the families 12 year old daughter as she was cleaning up front. We learned from her that Illinois has crappy fast food, and she has been at the restaurant since 6am. Inside was clean and tidy. It was 1 hour prior to closing. so it s was actively being cleaned. I don't think I would add chicken again to the salads. Maybe return here again.

Wow! We haven't been here in a while and we're around the area so we stopped in. This place is just amazing. All the food we got was so fresh and out of this world. The portions were big, I almost couldn't finish it (I had to save some of my spud for later). The lettuce was so fresh and the Buffalo was really good. They had so many options to choose from I couldn't pick. The service here was also great as well. I believe I met the owner Tammi and her staff. They were all so easy to talk to and they gave off that comforting feel. I didn't feel pressured when ordering and they let me take my time One thing I want to point out is that they were so accommodating to my baby cousins needs. She can't eat many things so they gave me options and worked with me which we really appreciate it! She enjoyed the food a lot! Overall this place is heaven sent! Atmosphere: Modern. Love the slant of the tables and the fresh feel it gives off. Presentation: 10/10 very appealing and appetizing! Reviews: Not overrated, they sum up this place in the best way possible. Just a quick simple review to the Owner/ Cook and for all curious salad eaters. We were very happy when our food got served to our table looking like it came out of a photo shoot.Just a heads up, If u are salt sensitive this place is not for u. All proteins are HEAVILY SALTED by the cook.Gordon Ramsey would throw a temper tantrum and shame them on the spotWe could not handle eating more than 3 bites because the Surf and Turf Salad was so salty it wasBeginning to give us headaches and upset stomach.For those who are planning to eat protein with their salad, is a waste of money and disappointing.Atmosphere: Small and plain with tables slanted away from wall. Out here for work, this place is a total find. The food is actually pretty good for what it is. The steak I had was probably a little too over cooked kinda hard to chew. I think the adding protein is probably a little over priced considering a lot of options you kinda have to add protein to it. But the food is still really really good, people are very nice here. I rarely leave reviews but this place really deserved this rating.

So I usually order here for my wife just quite recently...Today was a different day though...today I got accussed of taking something that didnt belong to me. AS I WAS LEAVING.... I wouldnt have a problem with is usually... BUT it was the way this person barked at me. I probably didn't hear the first time, so maybe that was why SHE got louder the 2nd or third time.... from "hey....to HEY... to HEYYYYY!!" I turned around and said yeah? She went on to basically accuse me of taking the wrong order... I told her no I got this for my wife... You see I noticed you were on your break before you clocked back in to accuse me ( you sat in the rear)...You didn't notice me though I was on my phone across from you talking to the nice young lady (waiting for my order by the racks)Anyway instead of apologizing this rude person doubled down and explained to me her reasoning... "You don't understand how many people take the wrong order" I told her you DO NOT talk to me in a rude manner. I can tell she looked at the way I dressed and probably "stereotyped" me, perhaps it was also my actions? (Me on the phone, looking like I wasn't paying attn?) Let's just say I did grab the wrong food anyhow? I still don't believe it was worth ARGUING with the wrong person. Let alone barking at a "mistake" made. It was just poor judgement and a late mistake.If it wasn't for the food here (Which me and my wife BOTH love) I don't think I will feel comfortable EVER with her being there... preparing my food or just being near it. If that is how she talks to people...phewww... I don't know. I don't believe she should get in trouble either... I am not about that...But man some sort of training or at most... etiquette or something.3 stars...because the owner is great (I have spoken to her before and SHE is amazing!) the other staff is as well UNTIL I ran into this person. Lettuce Toss It is a great place to visit if you're looking for a healthy meal option. The salads are delicious and filling. My go-to is their Surfing Turfin Salad w/ Steak & Shrimp. You can get it with a jalapeño ranch, which adds a nice kick.The cookies are also good if want to balance the meal with some sweets.

First time there and I wasn't impressed. I ordered the salad that is like a Oriental chicken salad and it cost almost $22! Insane! First of all, it was just iceberg lettuce that cost $15.00 and to add the grilled chicken it was an additional $5.00. Not worth it unless it's going to be your lunch for two days. And only reason I went there was because I had gift card. Definitely won't be going there again. Could get same salad, same amount elsewhere for less$ and flavor would be as good or better. And to top it off, I had to wait almost 30 minutes for a salad! I'm sure to others it is the best salads out there, but remember, this is just my opinion. Great day.
