Cafe 86 specializes in Filipino inspired desserts with a focus on ube (purple yam). Friendly staff, fun and modern atmosphere. Cool AC for a hot summer day, lots of seating and parking. When a shop becomes a chain you sorta start to worry if quality will go down. But with this brand you get an amazing result. I would say it’s less of a high end coffee shop and more of all around great shop. The sea salt coffee and there pastries are great and pricing is very good. I will typically order one of their Rosies and sit and draw (or study). They have a nice vibe and if it gets too loud, I just put ear plugs on. The baristas are nice and know their menu, which you can opt out of boba if that's not your flavor, and you can ask to reduce certain drinks by 50%.I also discovered they have a Little Free Library in the back!
