My Ube shake felt more like a slush. It was very overpriced, almost $9 for a medium size. The ube flan muffin was missing the ube flavor, the flan was pretty good.

The halo halo is one of my favorite.. dont get me wrong their halo halo is ok but it's no way near the traditional one I was used to.. originality is always the best but still u have to know the basic.. in my opinion,ditch the cereal . I will typically order one of their Rosies and sit and draw (or study). They have a nice vibe and if it gets too loud, I just put ear plugs on. The baristas are nice and know their menu, which you can opt out of boba if that's not your flavor, and you can ask to reduce certain drinks by 50%.I also discovered they have a Little Free Library in the back!

Cafe 86 specializes in Filipino inspired desserts with a focus on ube (purple yam). Friendly staff, fun and modern atmosphere. Cool AC for a hot summer day, lots of seating and parking. Decent prices and sizes. We tried their ube flan cupcake (the flan was rich and decadent, cupcake moist and flavorful—not too sweet!).Also tried their mango slush, chamoy edition (chamoy is a Mexican sauce usually spiced with chilis—tasted salty/sour). The mango slush itself was delicious, the chamoy added a nice contrast but there was way too much poured into it and it completely overpowered the drink. Would recommend having much less added to your drink, or getting it on the side to see if you like it. Seems like you can’t really go wrong with the menu so try something you like! Would definitely come back.

When a shop becomes a chain you sorta start to worry if quality will go down. But with this brand you get an amazing result. I would say it’s less of a high end coffee shop and more of all around great shop. The sea salt coffee and there pastries are great and pricing is very good. If you’re looking to study and buckle down with some work I would say it’s prolly not the best but if you’re in the mood for some great sea salt coffee, unique UBE pastries and very welcoming staff this place is a great option in the area. lol please turn the AC to low I’m freezing in here hahaha

I LOVE Cafe 86. I've ordered online, over the phone, and in person. I always get the same thing, because they're just THAT good. The ube truffles are absolutely to die for. Idk what kind of heart attack concoction is in there but OMG, absolutely delicious. Aside from the ube truffles, the ube flan cupcake is also quite good. The flan has a good taste and texture, as does the moist cupcake underneath. The ube truffles coated in Oreo really take the cake though! As far as drinks go, the hibiscus cooler and teas are good. I have only had them iced. The cafe is cozy and welcoming, as are staff. I am a repeat customer and will keep it so for every special occasion or sweet treat kind of day!

Great location and decent bakery items! It's Filipino inspired and anytime I go there I like to order the Ube milk tea. For some reason the most recent time they didn't have much flavors available! Bummer. Overall would definitely recommend that you try a couple of cupcakes and grab a drink to quench your thirst!
