“Simple and easy vegan food. I had a veggie wrap. I forgot to take a picture of my food and the place itself because I was so in the moment. It was not a fancy place, it's basically a vegan, spiritual, and water refilling store all in one great place. While waiting for the food I roam around their crystal shop and found gems, some of their items are in extreme sale, like I got a rose quartz for $0.99 and it's a great size, they have sage and all kinds of holistic items inside. The veggie wrap that I got was the bomb. It's better than whole foods, sprouts and any farmer market I had veggie wraps. Same manner of ordering, there's a paper for you to tick whatever you want to add. I really wish I took a picture of it.“
“First time checking it out. Sadly to see they only had to go service. I had a Chipotle Smoked Pork Torta. Was pleasantly surprised on the size and the flavors of the sandwich.I can't wait to try other things on the menu.If Dine in service was open I would give them 5 stars!“

“What an amazing experience. I was in a hurry on my way to catch the train at Santa Fe Station and needed something for my 8 hour ride. I found this sweet little deli and thought I'd give it a try. What a wonderful find. The gentleman behind the counter was so kind and helpful with my request to have a vegetarian option. He gave me great advice and suggested #17 on rye and mustard and it was perfect! Best part was that he chatted me up and laughed with me. Made me feel welcome and special. Eating my yummy sandwich now in my seat on the train . Thank you B.B Deli for keeping me from starving while traveling.“

Located in a funky little strip mall full of fishing shops, this bodacious deli serves up some gnarly grub that will leave your tastebuds hanging five. Scoring a parking spot can be a bit of a bummer with all the switched-on surfers filling up the lot, but it's well worth maneuvering into a tight spot to soak up the heavenly aromas wafting from this hip hole-in-the-wall. One whiff of the fresh baked bread, veggie crispers and premium deli meats and you'll be amped to snag a table. I bellied up and ordered the Admiral's Avocado Delight sandwich - which may just be the most epic thing ever assembled between two slices of bread! Layers of creamy avocado, veggies galore and thinly sliced meats dripping with flavor all came together into the most mouthwatering meal since I paddled out at Pipeline. This glorious sandwich was a totally tubular taste treat! I washed it all down with an Arnold Palmer, which was a tasty mix of lemonade and iced tea. But as stoked as I was on the eats, I was majorly bummed that this bodacious deli closes up shop at 5pm. With my day gig keeping me hanging ten in the office late into the evenings, their early close makes scoring a handcrafted sandwich a bit tricky. So if you're looking to get pitted on some awesome eats, be sure to carve out some time before five and make the epic journey to the Surf Side Deli in Point Loma. Cowabunga! This shoreline shack serves up the sickest sandwiches in town - but you gotta get there fast before they shut it all down. A shore thing for good times and great food!“
“This place is a GEM! Fantastic selection of domestic and imported cheeses, drinks, snacks. They have a lot of locally made gourmet foods available. Great craft beer and wine (local and imported) selection. It's located close to Pure Project and I recommend getting food here first.They have a fantastic and reasonably price deli inside with tons of food options all prepared fresh. You can tell this place is a neighborhood staple.“

Today was my first time in, and the owner and the girls are the most amazing people. The vibes are great, and the sandwiches are simply the best! Highly recommend! “The. Best. Torta de lomo. Ever. The meat is juicy and tender, and it actually has some spice to it because of the jalapeños they add. All of the veggies and avocado is fresh!!! The agua frescas and smoothies that I've tried are delicious as well. The ladies who work there are sweet, thorough and efficient. Not to mention, fast! Only thing I don't so much care for is the space itself. It's very small and usually overcrowded, and no public restroom is available. Also the parking lot is always a mess because there are multiple businesses in the area, but it's all worth it for this food, truuuust!“
