This used to be my favorite Chinese food in the Southbay…was a regular customer since the late 90s. Stopped in yesterday for takeout. So disappointed. Prices have risen 75% since COVID, and they have clearly lost their pre-COVID chef. The food was nearly inedible…but I paid $50 including tip for two entrees, so we choked it down. We love their food! Our go to items are salt n pepper wings, BBQ, Oceania, and house fried rice! They also make their own spicy mustard. It’s the best I’ve ever had! White rice or fried rice comes with the main dishes as a side as well. We eat the leftovers for lunch and nothing ever goes to waste. So good, so good!!!

I really love the food, but I placed an order for the superbowl 2 days ago, confirmed same day and when I went to pick up, the owner told me that if I wanted them I had to wait 45 min, he didn’t even said sorry. It felt like he didn’t even cared.

Very unprofessional business, ordered a tray of wings for the Super Bowl, was told 2:15pm pick up time, waited in a line until 2:30, and was then told it would be another 30 minutes. Don’t accept people’s orders if you can’t fulfill them in a timely manner. Go somewhere else, trust me.

Decided to come here New Years Eve during dinner time. The take out line was about 40 people deep. It was crazy. Ate inside because there was no wait. The portions are huge. We got our food really fast and the service was great. The food was good too.

Best freaking Salt and Pepper wings in CA! We are from the Bay Area and are yet to find a place (even in SFO) that can perfect the Salt & Pepper wings like Otay Mandarin. A must stop every time we visit San Diego County.

Decent spot for Chinese food! The parking spots close to the restaurant are usually full, expect to park far. One of the busiest lots. Clean restaurant with multiple booths. Quick, friendly staff. The salt and peppered chicken wings are a must! Extra crunchy and love the chill and crispy garlic topping. Shrimp fried rice is decent. Be aware that the food is better fresh and not so great the next day. After a night in the fridge, the wings did not taste the same. Price per dish is high, but the portions are huge.
