“I ordered the asada tacos and asada chips from Door Dash. Let me tell you, the food is super tasty. The tacos were packed with meat and there was more meat than chips in the asada chips. They chopped up the asada for the chips making it easier to eat. This is a hidden gem for sure! Hands down the closest I've gotten to tacos in TJ. 10 out of 10!!!!!“
“Grab and go burritos for $2?! Yes, please. I'm always on a rush and being able to just go in and choose a delicious burrito without waiting is amazing. The burritos are small, but they remind me the home style burritos my mom used to make me. These burritos are flavorful and filling. It looks like they have a drive up section and a cooler . Probably for early risers! They also have taco Tuesday $2 tacos! I'll be coming back to try those for sure!“
“Taco Lounge is our favorite local taco shop! They serve high quality ingredients each and every time! The staff is kind, consistent & super efficient. My favorite is the grilled shrimp taco. They use fresh avocados & the best chipotle sauce! My daughter's favorite is the carne asada tacos (& occasionally carne asada fries). We also love the Birria taco (pictured) & consommé. “Had 2 Tacos Dorados de Birria and a "soft" Taco de birria both very good but I will say the Taco Dorado is the way to go. Delicious and and the right amount of crunch. Will definitely be back to try the tortas next time. I will update this review with my torta review next time I go with more pictures.“
“TACOS AL VAPOR is my absolute favorite. Many people have no clue what they are missing. This spot had the most delicious tacos filled with shredded beef and soft potatoes. The salsas are hot and mild red. I tried both and loved each one the same. Each taco is $3.00 you can't beat that for a taco that tasted just like it's from Tijuana. “Great people and amazing food. I love the hot salsas Christian has to offer. I’ve tried asking for the ingredients so I can make them myself and he won’t budge. So here I am eating tacos and tortas twice a week just so I can get my craving satisfied. When it’s rib eye Thursday the tacos with chimichuri sauce are so delicious. I don’t add any salsa to it because they’re just so perfect (chef kiss). I’d recommend this place when you’re in the area. Bring your kids and there is a picnic table you can eat at outside. “The adobada is out of this world! I work on third ave and I've tried nearly all options for food in the area. It gets busy here sometimes but the wait is worth it. Located in the middle of third ave you can take your food to any number of local bars, or enjoy people watching eating near the trailer. “I actually went to the hot dog stand. They have bacon wrapped hot dogs just like in Tj with mayo, mustard, ketchup, tomatoes, and sautéed onions. The onions were perfectly over sautéed which made the hot dog very good and to my liking. You can say authentic Tj street dogs are served here. Can't wait to go back for their street burgers.“
