The music and overall vibe of the place were really nice too. Definitely one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend!”

“New Owners! Delicious Persian and Pakistani (alternate pages of menu). We had their paneer appetizer). It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. I enjoyed an inhouse, freshly made mango lassi. Wow! We have enough leftover to enjoy a shared lunch tomorrow.”

“My boyfriend and I now frequent Sushi Star since discovering the place a couple of months ago! It’s always very clean. A very pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress has always been Yi. “This place has amazing customer service, and the staff are very professional. The prices are also quite affordable, especially since they include a free salad and a breadstick. That said, I found the spaghetti lacking in flavor and a bit tasteless, though the salad was quite good. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because of the excellent customer service—otherwise, the taste doesn’t really suit me.”

“Tonight, I had the distinct pleasure of stopping in to the greenback Wingstop just 30 minutes before they're closing. The store was packed between doordashers and other customers picking up their orders. There were only two employees on the floor who were clearly doing the best they could to manage both customer expectations and making the food itself. After the crowd had cleared, I was one of the last orders of the night and I had the pleasure of speaking with one of the workers on staff. She was very kind and helped make sure my order was correct. It was clear that she had been pushing hard and I appreciated that she took the time to connect with me and make sure my order was perfect. I will absolutely be stopping in again, and I hope that she is the one taking care of me.”

Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. Whether you want savory or sweet there's something for everyone!”

Just asked me to sign. It was 110.00. That's pretty pricey. You're averaging 15.70 a plate including one of the appetizers. The portions were good. Just shocked at the price of it all. I obviously wasn't expecting anything less than 80. But 110?”

“If you're looking for a new cafe to try out in Citrus Heights, you have to check out Greenhouse Cafe! This place is fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough. First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. Great food, great service, and a great owner who cares about giving back to the community. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!”

Menchie’s on Madison is hands down one of my favorite frozen yogurt places. They switch up the flavors regularly, so there’s always something yummy to try, and I love that it never feels stale or repetitive.

What really makes this location stand out is how welcoming they are to kids and toddlers—it’s such a friendly, family-friendly spot. The store is super clean, well-organized, and well-maintained, which makes every visit enjoyable. Even the bathroom is big, well-stocked, and spotless—which, let’s be honest, is a huge plus when you’ve got little ones in tow!

The employees are pleasant and efficient, not overly chatty, but they get the job done, and I appreciate that. The prices are fair, and they run great promotions from time to time, making it even more affordable.

At the end of the day, this is my go-to frozen yogurt spot. Whether I’m with my kids or catching up with friends, it’s always a great experience. Highly recommend!”

I've seen this place before when I was riding Bus Route #1 going from Sunrise Mall Transit Center to Watt/I-80 Light Rail Station. I ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Large Bowl and Root Beer with light ice. If you love chicken fried steak and gravy, this is the restaurant for you.😋 The breakfast special was chicken fried steak and eggs, you can choose 2 pancakes or 1/2 waffle (I took the waffle, since the name was Country Waffles). The waffle was very good. Not heavy, soggy, or rubbery. The lunch special is a country fried steak and gravy sandwich, finally the dinner special is country fried steak and gravy with mashed potatoes.

If I had a disappointment it was the gravy. It was made with breakfast sausages cut into pieces, not sautéed ground pork. 🤐

There is plenty of free parking in the lot. Flat handicap access.”

I think the corn needs more stuff in it. Than again I was maybe thinking it would taste more like elote with Cheetos on it so that maybe why I was a bit disappointed, but than I had the mangonada and omfg. It was the perfect summer dessert honestly. The freeze with the actually sweet mango drizzled in that spicy goodness. If you’re ever overheated and want something cool and delicious just go here seriously if they had alcohol added to that they would have customers out the door.

The service was quick. The guy was very fast at what he does definitely recommend.

“We dine here about once a week. The food, wow, it is great! I love the walnut shrimp, the Mongolian beef, chow main, and fried rice. My daughter loves when they make her special chow main with nothing in it, just noodles please she says to the nice lady who works there. My husband always gets everything extra spicy. Even with all our modifications they are so kind and willing to make everything to order, and did I mention how clean and beautifully decorated. We really enjoy everything at wonderful Chinese.

Vegetarian options: They will modify anything to order.

Dietary restrictions: Anything you need they take care of your needs. Good service. Very accommodating.

Parking: They have about 10 parking spots but they usually have an open spot.
I've never had any difficulty finding a parking spot.

Kid-friendliness: They are so good with kids. My daughter asks them for spaghetti and they make her chow main with ketchup on it. If your kid likes any of their ingredients they will make it for them.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have wheelchair parking but if you use a wheelchair it may be difficult to get in and out because the spaces are close together.”

“04/15/2023; 7:10 PM unfortunate experience… I came in to pick up my “to go” order. I stated I was there to get my order, I was asked my last name. I gave my last name, and staff member behind the kitchen counter area picked up my bag, looked in the bag, and said, “I will get you a cup for your tea.” Then, the manager behind the Counter abruptly inserted herself into the conversation by saying, “She said the cup is in the bag!” I said that isn’t what I heard. At this time the staff member handed me the cup. The manager was dismissive and made yet another unnecessary comment as if to make herself relevant. (Not sure why she felt so needy) I walked away and said perhaps a Google review is in order, and she said, “Oh, that’s not necessary, and said “have a nice day” in the most disingenuous tone. While all this was transpiring, she was giggling behind the counter with co-workers like a Junior high school girl. I found the laughter to be rude, and clear that my business was both unappreciated and minimized. This experience was definitely an exception from my typical good experiences. Not sure if it was a slow night and she needed to feel involved in a simple transaction. She should FOCUS on her people skills.”
