Absolute FIRE lunch buffet. I'm just your average dude that digs Indian cuisine. My wife and I came here on a whim on a Sunday afternoon. We've always enjoyed the carry out food but decided to give the lunch buffet a try. It DID NOT disappoint! The cost and the quality of the food were incredible. We will definitely be returning. Would recommend the samosas and the avocado pakora!

The food is outstanding. However, on multiple occasions, I have ordered lamb curry dishes and have been given chicken instead. It has happened when I eat in and for take out. I strongly suggest checking your order as it seems like a pattern.

Is this the Sacramento area's best Indian food leftovers? Read on to find out! * * * * From what I can tell, there are a handful of locations in the area. We came to the Citrus Heights location on a rainy Saturday night, and while the event center next door was bumping, we were one of only four or five tables seated during our visit. A few standouts: Solid collaborative work with the servers, who could be described as matter-of-fact, but not rude or dismissive. We got the samosas, coconut chicken, saag paneer, and chicken tikka masala (or was is it the butter chicken? Here they use the same sauce for each but light meat in one and dark meat in the other), with butter naan and paneer naan, which is a pretty standard order for us. Everyone - including the kiddo, who usually doesn't care for curries - enjoyed it more and more as we dug in. Spice level is on the mild side: the medium was mild enough for the man-cub, and the mild was still flavorful. Samosas were fine but nothing special. Naan were soft but not fluffy. And the interior was noticeably worn out in a lot of places, which contrasted sharply against the decor. What immediately stands out is that prices are certainly higher than other Indian spots in the area, but the absolutely massive portions balance it out. We took home literally twice as much food as we normally do (and paid twice as much). And those leftovers were 100% the BEST leftover Indian food I've ever had. I can't explain it, other than the flavors must marry nicely in the fridge over night, but wow were they on point. Maybe next time we'll come back for takeout on a Friday afternoon and warm it up the next day.

Delicious and decent service. Sodas are free refills but chai is not (learn from my mistake lol). Many dishes have a less meat/more sauce philosophy, but it's all very tasty.

Phenomenal food. Cooked to perfection. Large portions. We came for dinner and were blown away. I highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a clean place with clean utensils and calming music. Daniel, Kartik, Vinny were on spot. Our plates were changed throughout the course of dinner and glasses refilled often. Thank you for the wonderful evening.Kid-friendliness: Great for the entire family.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramps for easy access.

I don't understand the negative review here about "rude staff." We've been here 3 or 4 times and everyone is SO nice, so polite, and the food is incredible.! This is definitely our new favorite restaurant in the area. Will continue to come here, parking is easy, staff is friendly and the food is so good!

Just came in for Valentine's Day dinner and the food was definitely not up to par. I'm part of a foodies group and will not recommend this . The onion naan was dry and thin, the plain naan was the same. Even the basmati rice was dry. Bindi masala was full of fried onions more than bindi, the Kadai paneer was so salty it tasted like paneer in chicken broth. Finally we decided to order paneer tikka masala and it tasted like paneer in tomato soup. Not going to lie we were Very disappointed tonite with India oven. This was honestly our favorite Indian food and our favorite India oven location. After this dinner don't think we will return. Maybe they were busy with the big party at the lotus banquet hall??
