“First visit tonight, takeout. Called ahead and the man who answered was epitome of Thai = polite, soft-spoken, service-oriented. He was able to answer all of my questions without issue. With veggie and chicken Tom kha soup, no seafood Tom kha, I opted for yellow curry chicken ($14) and brown rice ($3). One question I asked was if the curry was enough for two. His answer was perfect. He felt no, but everything about the call, my intuition that he's likely the owner of a locally-owned business and running the show solo, and the fact this Thai spot was in my bookmarks for a while, I ordered. The curry was more liquid than sauce and larger pieces of solid foods than expected but perfect medium spice (as requested) and the flavor was excellent. It'll make 1.25 to 1.5 servings for me. I'm happy. I plan to return. Khxbkhuṇ (Translation: thank you)“
“Tee is so kind and makes every single guest feel welcome and appreciated no matter how busy the day is. I’ve yet to find a better Thai spot that can beat the food, value, atmosphere, and overall experience! House of Thai fried rice is my go to!“
“Wish she put "to go" order properly for the fish chowder dish that comes with the rice noodle. The purpose of my driving all the way to Loomis to pickup two orders of this dish along with another dish was so that I can enjoy a little bit of that fish chowder dish each day since I normally need to eat high protein dish and this chowder dish does not have enough protein for me.It is very tasty but I had to finish it off rather quickly in less than 24 hours (alone) because in the to go box, rice noodle was mixed in with the chowder and my plan to use wheat noodle instead was defeated. So if you plan to order that fish for To Go, make sure to instruct her to pack the noodle separately.“
“The staff and owners are good people. Excellent customer service, good selection of micro brews on tap, and authentic recipes. For those that aren't big on Thai food they have variety of wings, hella types fries garlic, bulgogi, Cajun, etc. Definitely recommend this little hidden gem in Folsom.Vegetarian options: Curries, noodles papaya salad, tofu larb.“
“We’ve tried every fried rice, curry and noodle dishes on the menu here, everything is so tasty! My favorite are their Pad Thai and Panang Curry. Hands down the best Thai in Folsom area, they deserve 5 stars. The owners are super friendly and nice too. Highly recommended!“
“This is my go to Thai restaurant. I've been coming here weekly for almost two years, and am never disappointed. My go-to's are pad thai, red curry, and drunken noodles, but I have tried many other items and they are all delicious!“
“The staff is very friendly! The food is even better! Everything I've had here has been delicious. Personal favorite is the Roasted Duck Curry, I can't not have it. Adorable bonus, they say, "See you tomorrow!" as you leave.“
“Some of the best Thai food I've ever had. The only thing keeping this from getting 5 stars is the service. They will literally never answer the phone for pick up. They told me so themselves. So if you want their food youre forced to go in and wait there for 30+ minutes. Get it together and maybe hire more people.“
“In a nutshell; neat place to stop by and satisfy your Thai food cravings if you're in the area. The west-wind theater drive-in Is nearby so if you wanted to get thai food while watching or if you got around the area rather early and there isn't any traffic then well this is a neat place to stop by. It isn't the biggest restaurant but seats and tables were decent enough, no squeaking or table tilting. The man behind the register was rather busy but still attentive as he could. Food didn't take too long at all. Appetizers were first and that was great and before you know it the entrees were served and those tasted amazingly as well. If I had a few qualms about it is maybe the location it is at, as we parked and headed towards the entrance had a rather frantic person walk by clutching his bag as though he was about to get robbed speaking obscenities at the person he passed earlier. Don't know what that's about but well maybe that was just a one time occurrence. Overall still a neat place to try out.“
“it is 5/5 everything, it's mostly to go so it's usually only couples and the occasional (+ 1 child). Ready nice ambience and music. It's my "hidden gem of Sacramento" recommendation. we recommend the pineapple fried rice + chicken drunken noodle + chicken satay appetizer + shrimp in a blanket appetizer. that whole thing costed 68$ and we have enough leftovers for lunch, worth the priceParking: Depends on where you enter the strip mall. One road leads you to the main parking lot directly visible of Thai terrace. The other road leads you to the other strip mall lot that's behind Thai terrace but shares parking. I always forget which road is which.Kid-friendliness: Saw a couple with a child and a high seat so seemed kid friendly.“
“I stopped by for lunch here. Initially it was pretty chilly in the restaurant while waiting for the food to arrive. They must had overheard some of us talking about how cold it was because the heater seemed to be turned on. The food took a little long. I had ordered the drunken noodle. It was great I had it at spicy level 4. Maybe should had went to the max for some heat. It was clean inside. Waiter was good to us.“
“We have eaten here twice and the food is fantastic and not expensive. We have eaten in Thailand many times and this is the best Thai good we have had outside of Thailand!!!Vegetarian options: Almost all dishes have a tofu option. Vegan is also easily possible. So many options!“
“It was our first time dining here. We've decided to try this place because of the good reviews here on yelp and we were around the area. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent. There were two lady servers during the time we were there and both of them were accommodating and efficient. They kept asking us if everything was okay and if we needed anything. The place was nice and clean. We ordered red and green curry with rice. Both of the curry had the same ingredients of coconut milk, eggplant, bamboo, broccoli, and red bell pepper with just the paste difference. The red curry seemed more spicy and had peanut flavor (according to my husband) while the green curry tasted more coconut flavored. Their Thai milk tea was good too. The serving size was huge and for its price, I think it was worth it.“
“The restaurant is close to the highway and plenty of parking. The lunch specials are a good deal since you get to try two skewers, salad, and sticky rice. Food is made fresh and piping hot. It is Asian spicy so beware! The lao sausage is very good.“
“My friend and I stopped here for lunch on Tuesday and she discovered she had been here once before so she had an idea how the food was and it helps she loves Thai food as well so she could order for both of us. We got chicken on a stick as well as a curry and some chicken and rice. I'm not a rice fan but she got the garlic rice and to my surprise it was very good. It's a nice little Thai food spot near Sunrise and Cirby in Roseville and we both strongly recommend it.Parking: Very large lot in a strip mall.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to the restaurant“
“Our vegetables were cooked to perfection. We ordered the ginger salmon special with fried bananas and mango ice cream for dessert. Service was friendly and customer focused. Live music created a soothing and relaxed atmosphere.Parking: Parking is in close proximityWheelchair accessibility: Ground floor and easy access from parking.“
“Immediately when I walked in I was greeted by friendly staff. I ordered the Panang curry, it was amazing, I absolutely loved it! I definitely plan on coming back again, and would recommend to my friends. I’ve ordered panang curry at other restaurants before but in my opinion this was the best I’ve had.“
“I’ve started eating Thai food in the 1980’s in San Francisco, home of delicious cuisine . The entrees @ Sila are authentic & tasty with a sophisticated menu selection . Atmosphere is elegantly beautiful but casual and relaxed . Staff wonderful and attentive . Will be my new go-to for Thai “
“NEVER disappoints! Excellent outdoor space with a cover and fountain. I took my quiet small dog several years ago and that was allowed. Not sure if that is still or always the case. Their drunken noodles are superior as are there soups. Well, okay, everything is yummy!!!“
“I've been wanting to come here since it opened. I finally stopped by here with the kids after a full day of football games. We ordered the chicken wings, pork skewers and chicken drunken noodles. This place did not disappoint and we will definitely be back!“
“This place is SO delicious! Besides this Yum Nuah salad (Beef Slices with Chilli Lime Sauce) I have only ordered Nuah Yang (Beef Sirloin with Veggies and Rice), but I have ordered them MULTIPLE times! The meat is good quality and cooked so well. It is juicy and never dry! You can tell them the spice level for the sauce, which is just perfection. I’m obsessed with this location!“
“Came here to try a new Thai place. We ordered the duck curry, drunken noodles, seafood curry, and seafood fried rice. The seafood was so fresh and the flavors were on point. The duck curry and drunken noodles were also pretty good. If I was going to use authentic (even though I've never been to Thailand and had "authentic" Thai flavors), this would be one of the rare times I would use it. They also have a lovely selection of Thai chili sauces and powder. The man who was our server (also the owner maybe?) was super nice and very thoughtful while we were ordering and when he was serving our food. The decor of the place made it nice and cozy inside; perfect for an intimate meal. I was surprised to find the place has been around for 15 years. Definitely a hidden gem and hole in the wall! If you like Thai food, come try this place out and give it some love!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pattaya Thai Cuisine in Sacramento and I can confidently say that it was a fantastic experience. I decided to try their pad Thai, and it did not disappoint. The pad Thai at Pattaya Thai Cuisine was simply amazing. The flavors were well-balanced and the dish had the perfect combination of sweetness, tanginess, and a slight hint of spice. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of chewiness. Additionally, the portion size was generous, ensuring that I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied. The service at Pattaya Thai Cuisine was also exceptional. The staff members were attentive, friendly, and made sure that all our needs were met. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, creating a pleasant atmosphere for a delightful meal.I must also mention that the prices at Pattaya Thai Cuisine are reasonable, considering the quality and portion size of the dishes. You truly get great value for your money here.Overall, I highly recommend Pattaya Thai Cuisine in Sacramento, especially if you're a fan of pad Thai. The dish was delicious and the overall dining experience was excellent. I will definitely be returning to try more of their authentic Thai cuisine in the future.“
“Took my best friend & mom here to experience the "hot pot" life... & they LOVED it! You get to choose your own sides/noodles, so each of us were able to eat what we wanted & cook it how we liked it. It was their first time so they were amazed at how easy it was. We chose 2 different broths. The beef & the lemon grass. Both of them were delicious! My favorite part is that it's self serve. You don't have to wait on anybody because everything's already set out in the fridge for you to grab. The employee there was also very friendly. He checked on us a couple of times and cleared our plates once we were finished. There wasn't a lot of people there, just one other group so it was nice & calming. Even as more people came in it didn't get too rowdy. For all 3 of us it did cost around $90, plus tip. So we spent $100. Not bad for the amount of food we ate. By the end we were satisfied & full. If you're looking for a quick place to go with delicious food, go here. You won't regret it“
