Very nostalgic of Taiwan iron plate steak. Fair a bit of choices. Also comes with garlic bread and salad. Wish they also have the sweet corn soup as well but good enough for me.
If you want to try Taiwanese night market steak but you never get the chance to try, ok, you can try it. However, the price surprised me a little bit, I would rather choose other fine dining next time.
Restaurant background: Individual Taiwanese restaurant serving iron plate cuisines with different proteins.Signature item: I will not have any comments since their dishes are very similar. $15-$25, excluding tips.I ordered a combination plate with steak and cod. The portion size is good with the price, but the quality of meat is just ok. I should not complained about it because of the price. Anyway, portion size covers the poor quality of meat. fair enough. No service at all. Their service is very typically Asian type. No greeting, not table touching and no service. I seated by my self after they saw me standing at entrance for a while. They simply told me that "sit anywhere" I picked a table and grabbed menu by myself.Salad and garlic toast are not my dish. Both appetizers were horrible. the black tasted like sugar water and the toast was plain. The salad was a waste. It is just a restaurant for fill stomach when you are hungry and trying to save money.
Food here is great! The portion size was huge enough for two meals. My friend and I both had filet mignon with chicken steak, black pepper sauce. We were full and took some home for lunch tomorrow. The waitress was very nice and friendly. Overall, I would come back and try something different.
Our first and last time coming to this restaurant. The younger guy that took our order was really nice, the older lady was EXTREMELY RUDE. When we came in she was speaking English then she got upset that we were by the door waiting on our food. Mind you the tables are for eat in, with that being said she told her younger employee in their language ot of words as she stared at us and rolled her eyes. That absolutely did it for me, I speak 4 different languages and I would NEVER speak outside my language to anyone that doesn't know it. It is disrespectful to say things when people don't understand what you're saying. Bad business, she needs to humble herself before God humbles her. You don't treat people mean that support your business. Us customers are why business are open and they succeed. You CAN'T have a Business without CUSTOMERS.
Filet taste like rubber. Service is slow and bad. Over pricey, not worth it.
The lady (most likely the owner) was very rude. We went on a busy weekend night and understand a wait is needed. The weather was chilly outside and my wife and two little kids waited inside by the entrance door, the lady asked them not to block the entrance door but please ask NICELY. The words coming out from her mouth makes you feel not welcomed. We took off right away and will never go back to this restaurant.
Good food, ull love this authentic taiwanese style steakhouse.
Foods are very tasty and at first I thought it was an American restaurant. You must try this place out to experience it.
Wonderful experience, love every bite of it, very authentic, just like visiting a steakhouse in Taiwan.

Sea bass, garlic toast, mushroom + black pepper sauce, and chicken all taste pretty good. Steak taste a bit artificial but not bad either. Authentic Taiwanese flavor ?
Staff was friendly and attentive and the food was really good. My sautéed chicken ate was hot and juicy and went well with my winter melon tea. Prices are a little high but decent in comparison to the proportion you get and includes a salad and your drink. This makes the pricing decent if you don't plan to have water.
Must have in Rowland Heights
If you have a big appetite and like to eat, this is the place to go.If you want surf and turf without breaking the bank, this is the place to go.If you want a mix of Chinese and Western style food, this is the place to go.I miss eating here so much because everything was to-go, and i miss eating on a hot plate. Now that this place has reopened, you're allowed to dine indoor or in their patio.I always opt for their combo plates because it always has the best value. I order it with a Large refreshing Wintermelon drink. If you want to mix different kinds of protein (Chicken and Pork, Beef, Seafood, etc) they have that flexibility and they make the pairings with their pricing easy to order.
