“Had some relatives visiting me decided to bring them here, and they LOVED IT. The quality of the meats was very good, the tomato broth was our personal favorite, and we all really liked the sauce bar! It was their first time having any kind of hot pot and they really enjoyed themselves. We also did get the hand pulled noodle (it was great 😃👍🏻) and our waiter Siying was so helpful and attentive!! She's great!”
“I love BJ's! One of my favorite places to eat, makes me feel so nostalgic. I came here with my boyfriend today for Valentine's Day and we had the best time thanks to Bryan! The service was fast and he was also very communicative about our order and how soon it was coming out. I am very happy to have celebrated vday here!”
“It’s a good locally owned spot in a nondescript area of a strip mall, the dining area inside is a bit small but it has an outdoor dining area. The combos are of good value and the seafood is fresh and tasty. Service is fast and the guy who mans the joint is pretty cool.”
“This restaurant should close down soon! The food sucks! The service is even worse! And dishonest! The cheapest price is the same as the next door "Kipfu Restaurant", but the portion size is only half of that! Peking duck is delicious! Messing around! It seems that the people cooking in the kitchen are the people who raise pigs, chickens and ducks in the rural areas of mainland China! Whoever goes to this restaurant will be fooled! You will regret it for the rest of your life if you go there once! It’s nonsense to hire a Hong Kong guy as the manager of Northern Cuisine! What a mess! 😗😗😗”

“Eat there only if you want to be treated like dirt. I am sick and tired of their way of treating their customers. They don't do reservations and their wait system is unforgiving and insane. 1. Long wait times like 1.5 hours 2. But with that long wait time, they only give you 10 minutes to "all be there" when they tell you table is ready. 3. That's not even the worst. They put a "wait time" estimate near their check in table. So you would think that is a solid guideline right? But no. The REAL wait time can swing a good 30 minutes both ways. Say they put "Current Wait time is 1.5 hours" you could get a call at 1 hour mark. And then they give you 10 minutes to get your party to be there. And they give you hell if your party can't make it like it's your fault that you don't have crystal ball to tell that your table will be ready in one hour’s time. I have tolerated it coz their food is actually really good. Meat quality is good etc etc. What broke the camels back today is. I checked in at 5:45 today. Wait time is 1.5 hours. So estimate sit time is 7:15 right? When I get the text that table is ready at 7:05 I thought all is awesome. AND THEN they told me that are actually having a staff party tonight and last call is at 8. That leaves my party less than an hour to do an AYCE dinner. I was furious. So I question them, “Why didn't you tell your customer that when they checked in?” "Well, we put the notice on the door. You didn't see it! So… 🤷🏻♀️” 1. There are a bunch of white and black notices all over the door and check in area. 2. And yes. My eye sight is not awesome. I didn't see it. But shouldn't it be THEIR JOB to let customer know VERBALLY when they check in that they are shifting the last call time an hour early? That’s basic decency. I wasted almost 2 hours there and by then it’s like lines all over the place for any place. I am never going back again for a restaurant that treats their customer like dirt so they can make money off me any more.”
“Fantastic 10-course Peking Duck banquet for 10 people at an unbeatable price of $288.95! The duck was expertly prepared across three dishes, with the wrap being a standout (we requested extra wraps). Other highlights included the shrimp, eel & sticky rice, and fillet mignon. However, the real showstoppers were the giant steamed fish and dessert soup with rice balls, which stole the show with the group.
Service and ambiance were on par with a traditional Chinese restaurant. A reservation is a must, and 8-10 people is the ideal group size to take advantage of these banquets. Worth noting: they seem to have set seating times to ensure perfectly roasted ducks.
We'll definitely be back – the drive may be over an hour, but it's worth it for this incredible food experience.”

“The place was very empty when I got there, therefore we were able to be seated quickly. The food was fresh and it was tasty. I was worried and checked the ratings online to make sure it was legit. lol.
The bad part is that there isn’t enough workers so it’s hard to get their attention when they’re cooking.
Other than that it was excellent.”
“Sobok Sobok is a charming Korean-owned bakery and ice cream shop with a modern yet cozy atmosphere. Though the space is small, its simple design and warm ambiance create a relaxing vibe.
Breakfast Experience
I visited in the morning for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Their Croissant Sandwich was a great choice—crispy on the outside and filled with ham, cheese, egg, and lettuce, making for a satisfying and protein-rich meal.
For my drink, I tried the Black Sesame Latte, but it was a bit disappointing. The sesame powder didn’t dissolve well into the hot milk, and no one informed me that it needed stirring, which affected the overall taste.
Environment & Amenities
There are plenty of seats, but a few downsides for those looking to work or study here:
No power sockets, which makes it inconvenient for long stays.
No WiFi, so it’s not the best place for remote work or studying.
Not dog-friendly—only service dogs are allowed, so pet owners should take note.
Final Thoughts
Sobok Sobok has potential, and with a few small improvements, it could be a fantastic go-to spot for both breakfast and dessert lovers.
While my breakfast experience was mostly enjoyable, I’d love to return to try their shaved ice and ice cream next time, as those seem to be their specialties.”
“There was only one standout plate from the seafood menu: seared scallop.
Otherwise, the food overall was tasty but nothing remarkable. The staff and service were great.”

“Come on another great In n Out!
Service is okay and quick.
Food was excellent!
Very reasonable prices with the highest quality of ingredients from veggies to the patties.
Usually long drive thru lines but come on you can't complain when In n out is the best burger chain!”
“This place does tacos and specialty tacos. I ordered the potato tacos which were 2 for $7.50 at the time of this posting. They came fried which was already wonderful but the presentation was amazing and put it over the top. Wish I would've took a photo before eating them. Anyways, I can easily say most people who order this will not be disappointed bc the flavor is in point”
“Long story but me and my friends needed to eat really fast because we had to be somewhere and because of the rush we were being a bit confusing but the employee there was still very chill about it and had amazing customer service. Our group as a whole ordered a bunch of side dishes and one main dish but the food still came out in a jiffy fresh, tasty, and hot. I feel really bad because I didn’t give a tip for how well of a job they did since we were in such a rush but I wanted to leave a review on how good this place is.”
“I love the white fish rice on weekends. It's so delicious. White rice is also delicious and inexpensive. I love the California grilled fish rice. The shrimp rice I ordered is Southeast Asian style. The fish and chips are very tender. The grilled fish is also very tender. Perfect brunch”
“I love this Olive Garden location! The service is always *excellent* here- I've always had amazing servers who are friendly and efficient, and the general manager Jose greets customers at their table and is so friendly and warm. The food is always consistently delicious too- you're guaranteed a great meal. Highly recommend!”
“Delicious, I love it(⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎)❣️
The first time I tried Chuanchuan Hotpot was in the United States🤣🤣🤣
The white soup is super delicious✨The red soup tastes right too✨It’s really spicy😂”
“A truly affordable hidden eatery. It's not well-known, but the taste is really good and the service is good. They also serve glutinous rice balls after the meal, which is highly recommended!
Kid-friendliness: Shanghai has a sweet taste and not many spicy dishes, so it is suitable for children.”

“The restaurant is big and super cool. Customer service was great. The food was fantastic. My least favorite were the chicken wings because they had no seasoning, 0 flavor. The chicken pot pie, the PB jelly burger and the calamari were perfectly cooked. I definitely recommend this place for the whole family.”
“Bought frozen food from here 1st time. Great food. Hope they have more options in frozen items in the future. I will definitely buy more in the future. One suggestion: Vacuum seal bag must be sealed securely especially the soup base. My beef stew soup and chicken noodle bags are leaking 😕. Luckily I have ziplock bag on each item before I put in my freezer. Otherwise my refrigerator will be all wet after I defrost my item in my refrigerator.”
“I don't usually frequent places where food is unfamiliar to me, however their Hot and Sour tomato and egg soup is pure medicine for many illnesses. I also get two orders of fried garlic which act as antibiotics to any illness. I must say the taste is perfect for me. I order from here at least twice a week.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator always empty.”
“Authentic Chinese/Taiwanese cuisine in the heart of the City of Industry. They have a good selection of precooked dishes which can be combined in various ways - $10 for three dishes plus rice and soup! You really can't go wrong with that. Lots of other items, including a wide selection of fruit drinks and *Traditional Taiwanese Shaved Ice*. Atmos is ok, and there's no table service. But that $10 deal puts all the fast food places to shame!”
“A really delicious real Chinese restaurant! The atmosphere of the restaurant and the food all make you feel like you're in China. As soon as you enter the entrance, you choose your food and order it. When you sit down at the table, they bring you the table setting and the food you ordered. It was a good experience.”

“Man I am sick of the ridiculous inflation and high cost of…well everything these days how can anyone afford to pay rent and buy groceries?
Instead of feeling ripped off paying more than most burgers that that don’t cut the mustard at most fast food places let me tell you…
I was relished after going to this Carls Jr. location in Walnut off of Fairway and the 60 freeway!
I was served an amazing meal where the fresh triple western was a smoking hot deal when you use the app! I suggest if you don’t know to download it and register with your email and find out for yourself for sure.
The employees were helpful lightning fast at taking, preparing, and accurately serving exactly what I ordered.
I really had to write it down and for the manager of the location a professional and well kept gentleman by the name of Carlos I say…
thank you for your keeping this Carls Jr. above the standard and well kept like yourself sir.
My apologies for taking a minute before posting. Outstanding!”
“A very large Starbucks with plenty of indoor seating and a few outside tables. It was a typical experience from any other Starbucks. Not much individual character or evidence of community involvement you would see at other locations. Friendly staff such as Leo.”
“Loved my experience at East Town hot pot!! It was my first time seeing a charcoal hot pot, and I loved that you could choose two types of soup for each pot! They have a really wide selection of proteins and veggies. I highly recommend the beef and lamb combo! It’s mostly beef options, but it gives you a good selection of their proteins! Also, save some room for dessert! They have fresh cut fruits, popcorn, and a soft serve machine!”

“If you loved their original.restaurant Csrambas in Alhambra, you will definitely love it here. It's like being in Carambas --from their delicious Strawberry Margaritas to their crispy chips and tasty salsa to their hot entrees...you just can't go wrong!! My favorite Enchiladas ”
“It is nice Chinese restaurant, located in Valley Boulevard area of City of Industry. I have read good reviews, about this restaurant. So, one day, after work, in May of 2024, I decided to grab my dinner at this establishment. When I came, there was ample of space, to sit down, and enjoy a meal. Of course, my visit was in the middle of the week. In addition, the staff were helpful and attentive. They also recommended certain meals to try out. Those meals were well-made, and in timely manner. At the same time, they were delicious. Of course, the prices, too, were not on the expensive side. So, if anyone is in City of Industry or La Puente area, I would recommend to stop by this restaurant. It is located at Rhino Plaza shopping area.”
“I had the Hainanese chicken rice and Qingtang beef bun. It was very delicious. I felt that the very simple seasoning of the chicken rice brought out the deliciousness of the chicken to its fullest. The seitan beef bun also had the flavor of meat, but the soup that had the flavor of beef was impressive and very delicious. I like this seitan gyufu better than Japanese ramen with excessive flavor.”

“Very happy to eat authentic Taiwanese food!
Bringing the complete taste of Taiwan to LA, the food was very touching~
Ban Niang has a very forthright southern personality?I felt like I was back home for a second
The drumstick rice and salty crispy chicken are both delicious?”
“They deep fry their meats really well. I tried the popcorn chicken, fried pork chop, and red grain pork. All had a nice starchy and lightly crispy crust with moist meat inside. It’s like they applied the Taiwanese popcorn chicken crust to the pork chop and red grain pork, which is a good thing because I think their popcorn chicken is exceptional. (Note: I’m used to the pork chop being fried differently and I’ve never had red grain pork before.) From the photos, I was afraid the red grain pork would be dry and not taste good, based on my experience with HK style char siu, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious and moist it actually was.”
“Honestly, I couldn’t really say much about the atmosphere yet, I have never been inside the store. My orders were via delivery but from experience it’s the best, excellent and tasty Taro boba drink I’ve ever had. It’s so hard to a very good Taro drink these days using fresh Taro, I love ❤️❤️❤️ House Taro Yuan the best!! Please keep up the great work and never change your ingredients, you are the best and my favorite of all!! I’ll be sure to stop by and experience the taste of the atmosphere being inside your store!!”
“I recommended to all my friend come enjoy here. very good delelicious Hot Pot great service all servers veri nice and kind”

“Went to give this spot a try, was unsure about the mixed reviews. But this place is actually really good, got the tacos Dorados with cheese and guac, they were delicious, guess others went on a slow or bad day. I will be back here again..... price is a little up there, as the taco dorados are $4 with everything. They are cash only....”
“It was a great first visit here for me tonight. I would definitely recommend this place to all nearby residents, business owners, employees, everyone else imaginable. Employees are friendly. Business is clean. Plus, it has a drive thru for folks whom appreciate and patronize that frequently.”

“If you haven’t tried Taiwanese popcorn chicken before, this is the perfect place to start. Their popcorn chicken is authentic, with a crispy, golden exterior and a juicy, flavorful interior that won’t disappoint. There are also some simple tables and chairs set up inside, providing a space to enjoy your meal. The shop is located inside Secoya Market and sells traditional Taiwanese street food. They also offer Japanese sushi but I haven't had the chance to try it.
Parking: There is plenty of parking outside the Secoya Market.”
“My company used Crossroads for a very long project that required catering every weekday for over three weeks. Helen was quick on delivery, she was willing to work with us to add variation to the lunches and her prices could not be beat. The employees we were training highly complimented all the food. Sandwiches, wraps, tacos, bento bowls and salads. All of it was delicious. I cannot thank Helen a Crossroads enough for her hard work and wonderful food.”
“Absolutely love Boba Ave 8090! The drinks are consistently delicious—especially the Messy Milk Tea and Strawberry Uji Matcha, which are both flavorful and visually stunning. The popcorn chicken is crispy, well-seasoned, and always hits the spot. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, making it a great hangout spot. Highly recommend to any boba lover looking for top-tier drinks and snacks!”
“My recent visit to Sunright Tea Studio was a delightful experience. Upon entering, I noticed it was bustling with a lively crowd, eagerly awaiting their boba teas. Being new to this location, I wasn't sure what to choose, but the young man behind the counter was exceptionally helpful. He recommended one of their signature teas, which was prepared astonishingly fast – almost as if by magic! It seemed like it was ready before I could even put my wallet away.
The tea itself was excellent, standing out amongst many I've tried in different tea shops. Not only was the tea shop clean and the service remarkably swift, but the drink was refreshing and satisfying. Their efficiency and customer care impressed me so much that I am already planning my next visit.
The staff, especially the young man who assisted me, was engaging, friendly, and made the entire process effortless and enjoyable. If you're on the lookout for a great tea spot, Sunrite Tea Studio is definitely a place worth visiting right away. Their exceptional service and delicious tea make for a fantastic experience.”
“It’s honestly a trek when you have to drive almost two hours from one side of town in Pasadena…. to be on the other side of town to get boba at Half & Half Tea House, in Rowland Heights (technically City of Industry but oh well, it doesn’t matter at this point). I’ve heard many good things about this place, especially with the recommendations my friends gave me, so when I was in SoCal this time around, I KNEW I had to give this place a try for it’s buck.I was NOT disappointed at all. In fact, I was AMAZED at how they made their drinks. Not only were they cheap for their price, but everything came out to a decent price. Here’s my take:
Food/I got the fresh milk tea with honey, boba, and pudding. When I say this to you… the boba at Half & Half Tea House was absolutely delicious. The tapioca pearls were FRESHLY cooked, with just the right amount of chewiness. The fresh milk tself was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of sweetness as I requested to give them. I could tell that they used high-quality ingredients in their drinks, as the flavors were so fresh and vibrant. Each sip was like a little taste of heaven. Not only was the boba incredible, but the service at Half & Half Tea House was also top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to answer any questions or make recommendations. They made sure that my order was prepared exactly how I wanted it, and even offered to customize it further if needed. The atmosphere in the store was warm and inviting, despite the fact I went in 15 minutes before they closed LOL.will say that the atmosphere wasn’t always the best, but they did have a lot of leeway so you could take your pictures on top of the table and post it for your IG or TikTok.Overall, my experience at Half & Half Tea House was fantastic. The combination of amazing boba and exceptional service made for a truly memorable visit. The next time that I’m in SoCal, I will definitely be returning to try more of their delicious drinks in the future. If you're a fan of boba tea, this place is a must-visit!
Wheelchair accessibility: It is pretty friendly, but just be careful because they do have a ramp —”
“We had an excellent server that attended to our needs. The food was delicious. The restaurant was clean looking and they had a great bar. Plenty of televisions to watch all the sports. I highly recommend if you haven't been to Applebee's you got to get there!”
“Yunnan Guoqiao Garden is a cozy and charming spot that beautifully showcases the flavors of Yunnan cuisine. The restaurant’s clean and thoughtfully designed interior, with wooden accents and warm lighting, sets the perfect tone for an enjoyable meal. I also appreciated the display of specialty cold dishes near the entrance—a great touch for anyone wanting to try a variety of flavors.
The Tianqi Steamed Chicken Soup was the star of the meal. Served in a traditional clay pot, the broth was rich and aromatic, with subtle herbal notes that made it deeply comforting. The chicken was tender and infused with the flavors of the soup, making each bite feel like a treat. It’s the kind of dish that lingers in your mind long after the meal.
The service was efficient, ensuring everything arrived promptly, though there’s a little room for improvement in terms of attentiveness. Overall, Yunnan Guoqiao Garden delivers on its promise of authentic and satisfying Yunnan flavors, and it’s a spot I’d happily revisit.”
