This has to be the worst Waba Grill ever! I was here on 4/10/2024. While shopping at Whole Foods, I placed an order via the app and said my food would be ready by 6:31pm. I didn't get my food until 6:59pm!! This is unacceptable! There were at least 5 parties who ordered after me at the restaurant and got their food before me. Waba Grill --- You need to train your staff better. It's not difficult organizing the ticket orders. The 2 ladies working that night had no idea what they were doing. It was so unorganized in the back. I will never come back to this location. You guys should be ashamed.

Consistently bad - either out of something, taking way too long, bad food or giving terrible service. The poorest quality Waba Grill I ever frequented by a comfortable margin. Seems like a reoccurring theme with this brand in general, but make no mistake...This particular location is BAD. Not coming back.

Many years of being a customer. Haven't had an employee who wasn't an absolute raging asshole, chefs acting like they won't want to be there and will you too. Went in a 8:45 one night and the chef threatened to throw my food in the trash because they couldn't close early. Like holy sht, this is bad. Rude, inattentive service. Went for an online order, it was late. There was a customer placing an order for his team and the young woman person working 11-12AM on this Monday (7/18) was an absolutely a-hole to them. I think this should be lowest rated WaBa in California. If it is, their staff finally has something to be proud of

HORRIBLE!!! The rudest customer service I have ever experienced.

Horrible, horrible service. Some of the rudest employees I have ever encountered. Called to let me know they ran out of white rice and proceeded to tell me they were unable to refund me my money.

Stopped by for lunch, asked for a rice and VEGGIES BOWL, bought 2 of the same only to find out when I got back to my office my order was wrong, the cashier, Briza, was very rude when I asked for an extra sauce, she replied I already put 2, will think twice before going again, I was very clear with my order, maybe she doesn't want to work?

Come here to grab a quick bite every so often, since it's conveniently located near us. More often than not, the protein (specifically the chicken) is dry. Customer service is typically okay. Not the best but nothing horrible. That is until today. I walked in and the woman behind the register saw me and just held up a finger to indicate she'd be right with me. She had me stand at the counter for almost 10 minutes while she walked around doing random errands. When she finally took my order she was completely apathetic and kept turning her head to indicate she couldn't hear my order. She had zero social etiquette. So far she's the only rude employee I've encountered, so if you avoid her (the receipt says her name is Breza) you might have an okay experience with customer service. Overall this location just has mediocre food quality and poor customer service. Will likely just avoid coming back altogether since management doesn't seem to care either.

The meals are always served at this Baseline location with slimy, rotten tasting rice. The proteins and veggies taste fine but they probably keep unused rice in a rice cooker overnight and serve to customers the next day. I tried calling but was unable to leave a message for management about my most recent Family pack.

I'm surprised at the negative reviews. I haven't experienced an issue yet. I was here Friday night and ordered the tacos. I enjoyed them. I had 1 steak, 1 chicken and 1 shrimp. I really liked the fillings and thought the meats tasted good and cooked nice. I didn't really enjoy the tortilla part but it is just my taste buds and preference. Would I order them again, yes. I got a mini spicy chicken bowl today and thought it was substantial, filled me up and the price cannot be beat for what you're getting. I hope the consistency continues because it's convenient to where I'm living. I'm also close to the upland store but would prefer to keep coming here.My original review was all 5 stars. I just went to this location again today on Sunday to get a free bowl and the woman behind the counter is extremely rude and she only packed the bowl up 3/4's full. This is what I wrote to the contact us:Hi.This is my 4th trip to Waba grill.I originally tried the Rancho location on Hellman a week ago and ordered a steak bowl.   It was packed to the gills and had a bunch of great sauce.   This is what got me hooked.I then went on Friday night to the Claremont location and had tacos.  They were great and great service.I decided to get the app if I was going to become a regular.I went to Claremont yesterday and got a spicy chicken mini bowl and it was packed and full of sauce.I earned a free bowl worth up to 9.99.I returned to Claremont today and the woman firstly behind the counter was put off that I came in for a free bowl.  Secondly was upset that I wouldn't take chicken automatically. The bowl came out in minutes and with her back turned to me asked a question.   She was asking if I wanted sauce.  One, it's really rude to talk to customers and ask questions with your back towards them and two, it's hard to hear the voice.I was going to ask her how much a half avocado costs and if it was ripe.  But as I was asking she walked away to the back and pretended not to hear me.I didn't really want to interact with her anymore so I didn't pursue the topic and just went to Wholefoods and bought an avocado.I get home and this bowl is a weak excuse to how I've had meals prepared in the close past.I understand it's a free bowl but I feel like it should be treated the same way being prepared.   I would be awfully frustrated if I paid $10 for this when it's only 3/4 full and not much sauce & meat.If I go back and she's working I will not make a purchase.Thank You,Shaun HallSent from my T-Mobile 5G DeviceIt's 8:15 PM Sunday night and I'm updating my review back to 5 stars due to the caring phone call I received from Waba Grill.

Not sure why this location doesn't have better reviews, I come here all the time and almost never have to wait, the staff is very kind. It's nice and quiet in there most days (besides the occasional rowdy child on the weekends -- like any restaurant). The food is always good and fresh, with great portions that exceed the price in this economy! Can't complain.Been going there for a while now but decided to finally post a review today because of the staff member, Imelda, who I see working every time I come in. She consistently is very happy and kind, gives great customer service, is knowledgeable about the menu, and always serves me (or us) with a smile! Thanks for consistently making our food well and being kind to us!

Sorry but this is one of the worst waba grill locations I've been too. There is always only one person out front. They have none of the condiments out EVER. I asked for extra onions and didn't get any. Not going to this location anymore.
