The service is incredibly sweet and so friendly, walking you through the bottling process very patiently, and recommending excellent combinations. They're very forthcoming with samples, the wine tastes great, and the sangria is perfect for strolling the grounds with a friend. I've made many grateful friends and family with a bottle of wine as a gift, make sure to bring a couple extra bottles home with you!

As someone who never considered myself a wine person, my experience at Carvalho Family Winery changed my perspective! The atmosphere inside is very unique, and the knowledgeable staff were able to tell my boyfriend and I all about the wine bottling process which was awesome. The best part of the experience was their tastings! I explained to the staff that I was new to wine drinking, and they gave great recommendations about what I should try based on my tastes. I ended up loving a white wine called "Bootleg Blanc" I even gifted a bottle of it to my boyfriend's family and we drank the whole thing together at Thanksgiving - they loved it! :) I couldn't recommend Carvalho Family Winery more! They have great wine & friendly staff, whats not to like?

Absolutely the worst wine tasting I've been to. My friend made reservations for her birthday and when we arrived there are tons of boxes stacked everywhere and no place for us to sit. As we are standing choosing what wines we want to sample the two workers are arguing back and forth in front of us. During the sampling it was very awkward as the two workers clearly have issues with each other. We listed the order of the wines we wanted and those we ignored, they gave us whatever wine they wanted. Not only were the sizes of the sampling inconsistent but after my 4th sample the worker insisted I had 5 and when I told her no I didn't sample one of the wines she poured me a very small sample. Safe to say I will not be returning.

I love carvalho family winery. My wife and I got married at old sugar mill and we loved carvalho so much we soon became wine members. They are always so nice and greet you like friends whenever you visit. And obviously the wine is also great.
