“I love Sixth Street Coffee, and find myself missing it when I'm away from the desert. It is easily the best coffee you'll find in the Coachella Valley, and a beloved neighborhood spot. It is also located in a beautiful, walkable area on the East side, near Veteran's Park, and surrounded by murals. I would recommend coming by for a little coffee, and checking out all the other businesses in the area as well. (Side note: there is outdoor seating, if you want to bring your dog!)“

“This is our first time to checkout this restaurant. It just liked other Yelpers who wrote about this restaurant. We looked up the Yelp and found out this restaurant, seeing to believe that this restaurant got 5 stars and almost 500 views. Then Wow! First Foods are so good, delicious for every bite. We ordered the Stuffed chicken and the pot roast plate recommending from a lady who works there. She was so nice and helpful. Best customer service:) Good foods + best customer service =5 * We will come back to this restaurant if we visit this town Indio.“

“Great little coffee shop! My friends and I stopped here on our way back from Coachella and got their honey lavender matcha and vanilla iced latte which were both delicious :) Our drinks came out fast despite being pretty busy. The vibes of this coffee shop were also so lovely- they had beautiful plants inside and the workers were super nice! Definitely plan on coming back next time I'm in the area!“

“OH MY CEVICHE! On a scale of 1-10 this Fish Ceviche Tostada is a 20!!! I'm not kidding this is one of the best ceviche dishes I have ever had. It's so good I've ordered it 3x in 3 weeks. It's fresh, tangy with citrus flavors, the juice is so savory you'll want to drink it out of the bowl and the combo with the fresh avocado slices is an absolute winner. All three times I split the appetizer with my husband but this last time he said...honey let's get one each because this is so good I could eat the whole thing myself. If you haven't tried this Ceviche you must!“

“I have been coming here for several years now and my meal here the other day was wonderful as always. I usually get the Jager schnitzel, which is what I had on my recent visit, and the ripped potatoes are fantastic. The restaurant can get busy at times, but with food this fantastic, and timely and pleasant service, it is all worthwhile Highly recommended “

“This is a delightful tea shop with a beautiful patio area. I was overwhelmed by all of the tea options but a staff member recommended coconut-lavender which was just amazing! We also tried a cookie. My daughter loved both. It was a perfect place to enjoy the beautiful weather.“

“SOLID place for great food and perfect outdoor patio. One of the best scambled egg Breakfast Sandwiches I've had in a minute. Beautiful flakey croissant that held a grip of fluffy scrambled eggs and crispy smokey bacon! I washed it down with a nice hot americono. The warden ordered yogurt and berries with granola. She also had a vanella latte to drink. She reported everything to be exceptional. The service was excellent. It's a first come, first serve seating, and you order at the counter and then find a seat. Both food runners we encountered were extremely friendly and polite. We are locals, and we will be back!“

“Love this place! It's fun and friendly and bartender CJ makes everyone feel welcomed. He is the BEST!! Trivia is on Tuesday which is super fun and there is a food truck with a delicious tacos parked right outside for that event- yummy!!! There are lots of spots to sit and enjoy the ambiance and friendly customers, enjoy some music and beverages as well as the cool decor. Firebird fans will love it! This place is a winner and there is a nice mix of people who go there- young and...not as young. You'll feel right at home!“

“I went there for lunch with a friend. Both of us were so impressed with our breakfast! I had the huckleberry pancakes and my friend had the 2eggs bacon and potatoes. There was so much food and boy was it delicious!! I recommend this restaurant highly!!!!!“

“We loved our whole experience here. The restaurant was lovely with the patio seating and the food was also very good. The staff was so kind! The date shake is a must have- so save sone room!But the best part was the complete walk through of the garden. We found that if you start at the beginning it is much more meaningful and as you continue through it it get more and more beautiful. The grounds were just so beautiful. Definitely give yourself 30 minutes to walk through the whole thing!“

“I loved this place. We were seated outside in this large pavilion area with fantastic lighting and greenery all around. Service was great and attentive, and my Sante Fe omelette was one of the better omelets that I have had in my life. Side of toast, potatoes, and perfect amount of spice. Menu was also extensive, my one complaint was not being able to try more items on the menu. Next time I go, I will definitely choose to go sweet, but it will be challenging not to go back to savory with the fantastic egg dishes! By the way, get the freshly squeezed orange juice.“

“It's been my go to ice cream parlor for years in LaQuinta. Great ice cream. Price doesn't even matter. Until now. Favorite order has been their root beer float. 2 scoops vanilla and a can of root beer, A&W, I think. Last 3 times I've been there they have downsized to a tiny can of root beer. Same price. Not good. Worst part is if you're a float enthusiast, you blend the soda with the ice cream such that by the time you finish you have a brain freezing cold vanilla root beer shake! I've asked 3 staff to bring back the large can. So far nada. Is the owner listening? Please restore the large soda. Without it it's not really a float. Thanks for listening I hope to support your business in the future.“

“We stumbled into Karen's Cafe during a recent trip to Palm Desert, and it's a new favorite! All of our breakfast items were amazing, from the biscuits and gravy to pancakes. I have been spoiled and do not want to have pancakes anywhere else ???“

“Went with three adults and two small children...off peak hours, so as not to bother other patrons. Staff was super accommodating and the kids menu was great. Adults enjoyed all their food. Great location, good food and overall a great place for lunch in Old Town La Quinta. We ordered: Spinach & artichoke dip (great!), beet salad with steak, date salad + salmon (well cooked, a little under seasoned but table side RDRNNR seasoning made it delicious), BLT wrap, and house salad with chicken...all very tasty.“

“We really enjoyed our dinner here. Gina, our server, was the best we have had at any restaurant in a long time! It was later in the evening and she had lots of energy and made really good food and wine recommendations. The food was delicious - we had the Grilled Prime Bavette Steak Frites Au Poivre, the Slow Braised Prime Beef Short Rib Bourguignon and the Salmon dish. Gina had many wine suggestions in all different price categories. Their wine list was extensive. The bread was very good and warm. We sadly did not have room for dessert but will try next time we are in the desert. The only thing they could have improved on, is that they are not kidding when they said it was a "Baby Wedge" salad. The salad was small. I normally split a normal size wedge salad, but this one is not shareable. They could add a little more lettuce and make it bigger.“

“I've lived in the area close to 4 years, I've seen this restaurant before and until this past week end I decided to try it. I got the feeling of out of towers hang out...alcohol bottles on the counter and also the first page of the menu. You don't get warm chips that's for sure, salsa was just ok. I ordered the carne asada torta which was delicious. It was on the best I've had. It reminded me of the one my mom used to make for us as kids. Food came quick. I was disappointed it came with shoestring fries. Our server was anything but friendly, she kept her conversation almost to two words. The Mexican restaurant didn't have horchata, so I got the Jamaica, it wasn't generous on the tip, I'd come again. Maybe take out.“

“I reserve my five-star ratings for a literal PERFECT experience. My first visit to the Palms Cafe this morning was amazing. There was plenty of seating available even though the place was busy. Our server was friendly and helpful, and got our entire order correct. The food arrived quickly (less than 5 minutes), and was cooked to perfection. The Belgian waffle was the best I have ever had, anywhere. It was crispy and fully cooked. The center was fluffy but not soggy. The has browns were also exactly what I expect when I order hash browns. Crispy, moist but not greasy, and served hot. In the past, most places I go to for breakfast serve hash browns that are dry, gooey, greasy, or in some cases - still frozen in places. The ambiance was nice with classic rock playing at a background volume, and everything was super clean. I will definitely return to The Palms Cafe very soon!“

“Great food and great atmosphere. They had live music tonight and the vibes were great! I ate the chicken panino sandwich and it was very flavorful and a good portion. “Passing through the area and decided to stop by for brunch after seeing great reviews on here and let me tell y'all.. THIS IS A GEM. Food was amazing, had the chilaquiles and a pork omelette, 10/10. They offered a spicy Chile oil that was delicious and packed some heat!! (I'm a spicy kinda girl just sayin) and the service really went above and beyond! Shout out to Jaime our server who took great care of us! If we ever pass thru again definitely stopping by!“

“Great selection of teas and the additions like boba and jelly's are great. It's a tad pricey but it's probably one of the first actually decent boba tea locations in the valley. If you get the Thai tea, you might want to ask for half sweet or at the very least 75% sweet.“

“We stopped in for a quick sit down meal on a road trip to Joshua Tree National Park. Kind of a cross between fast food and a dive diner, but excellent burgers and fresh, hot fries were served quickly by a very friendly staff. Very reasonable prices, as well.“

“Sloan's is tremendous! My favorite restaurant in the Coachella Valley and I've lived here for 46+ years. Just the finest quality ingredients in everything on their menu and the service is always superb. We drive an hour each way to visit Sloan's and it never disappoints. In this modern-day world of a "take it or leave it" attitude at many restaurants it's refreshing to find a restaurant who's staff actually care about their customers and take pride in offering a great product and a great value. The food here is exceptional and the servers are top-notch professionals in every way. The food is always the absolute freshest anywhere and it really shows. “Before I go there, I question my coworker about Dutch Bros. He tells me it's one of his favorite places. Since I'm in the neighborhood, I decide to give it a try. Many cars are in the drive-thru, and it appears to be very crowded. I thought that there was a dining room where you could place orders and enjoy your drinks inside the store. It's to-go only, though. As I looked at the menu, my attention was drawn to the Shark Attack drink. There is a blue raspberry, coconut, lime, and pomegranate float included with the Shark Attack drink. Great taste, too bad it's too far from where I live, because I'll be visiting Dutch Bros.a lot. There are just three employees, therefore there may be a lengthy wait. I waited 40 minutes for my drink. Make sure to sign up for the Dutch Bros app, as doing so entitles you to a complimentary drink. When you are in the area, be sure to check it out.“
