“My mother-in-law had made reservations last minute for New Year's Eve. I'm removing one star because they did not notify her that it was an all you can eat buffet for $80 a person. When we arrived, I discovered that fact and explained that we had seniors in our party that didn't eat much. They probably canceled our reservations and offered the menu in the bar area. The food we had was excellent and the service was top-notch.“

“The best BBQ food that we have ever had! Tri tip, chicken, brisket, loaded potato dish..all were delicious! We went to Bass Lake this past weekend, drove by Smokehouse 41,and thought, let's give them a try...best choice that we made...stopped again the next day for lunch. Highly recommend!“

“Small winery on the way to Yosemite's south side entrance. We stopped here after a brief visit to the nearby Bass Lake for their wine tasting. The wine selection was good (favorite was the red blend) but the charcuterie board was absolutely amazing (the blue cheese they serve + jam was delicious - and this is coming from someone who typically doesn't like blue cheese). Staff were super friendly and they allow dogs inside which is fantastic on a cold day. Definitely stop by for a sip and a bite.“

“I was there last Friday night to celebrate my son‘s birthday. The experience was wonderful. The food was great. The service was outstanding. The ambience was fabulous. We had a window seat and has such a great time. “I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. I'm here to testify the good work of her after she made a good profit for me in my investment. She's reachable via WhatsApp with the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa“

“Being in the wilderness, I had no expectations for restaurants, but I didn’t expect ?that there would be a delicious Chinese restaurant...It is highly recommended for tourists who come to Yosemite to come and eat! The menu is also in Chinese“

“While visiting the Yosemite area my husband and I came upon El Cid restaurant. We have a theory that if there are a lot of cars in the parking lot there’s a good chance the food is pretty good. Our theory proved true with El Cid.The restaurant is located in a lovely community not far from the south entrance to Yosemite National Park and seems to be a local favorite. It has a wonderful family atmosphere and is just a nice place to share a meal. The staff were very friendly from the moment we entered until the time we left. We told our server we had never eaten at El Cid and asked for her recommendations. She gave several dishes to consider and gave us time to look them over and make our decision. Now, as a native Texan I’m a dyed-in-the-wool TexMex fan. This can be problematic sometimes. Not this go around. The food here is full of flavor and freshly cooked.Fans of any style Mexican food know that good chips and salsa are a must and are the all-important first impression. El Cid has totally bypassed any potential salsa issues and jumped straight to serving fresh pico de gallo with their deliciously seasoned chips. What a great surprise. Absolutely loved this! For our meal we ordered the El Cid burrito (highly recommended by our server)with chicken. It. Was. Massive. This feast was totally loaded with fresh grilled green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes and then there was the perfectly grilled chicken. It was served with refried beans and rice. We had guacamole and sour cream on the side. Our food was piping hot when it was served and was completely delicious. We also treated ourselves to a house margarita - very tasty and very refreshing.I heartily recommend stopping by and having a meal here. El Cid does not disappoint.Parking: Easy access to parking lot from the highway. Several dedicated handicap spaces directly in front of the entrance. There are other regular spaces along the front walk, which is level with the parking lot, and accessible to patrons who may only need the assistance of a cane.Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance to restaurant is handicap accessible. Restaurant is also wheelchair friendly.“
