This place is friggin amazing!!!! I liked Homie Joe's, but this place is even better! They've got great food, a salsa bar and friendly employees.Parking: Usually, parking is not an issue. But last night, I'd have had to walk from the gas station if someone wasn't leaving when I got there. The food is worth it, though!
It's nice to have choices other than Ikeda's (which seems to be always packed) on the way up the mountain back home to Truckee. This little Mexican hole-in-the-wall was very good! Order at the counter, sit down, and in no time your food arrives at your table. I had two street tacos (chicken & al pastor), a cerveza, and some chips/salsa. Hubby had the same, but also added a chile relleno. He liked everything, too . We'll be back!

The pozole was super flavorful and perfectly spiced. Dare I say, probably the best pozole I’ve had. My wife really enjoyed the tacos too. Great food in a convenient location right off the highway. This will be my new pit stop on 80.
