The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, healthy, and clean. Three of us are vegetarian and we were easily accommodated with plenty of tasty options, which was such a nice surprise. The owner even came out to greet us, and she was so kind and friendly, making the experience extra special. It’s a small, cozy hole-in-the-wall spot that’s very clean and welcoming. “OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋”

“Lanzhou is an ancient, desert city on the old Silk Road so its culinary heritage is as wide as it is deep. While I’ve not been there I would like to think the food here is pretty authentic Gansu province cuisine. It’s always a good sign when a restaurant is popular, but it’s a better sign when an Asian restaurant is full of Asian patrons. Everything we had here was good. The chili crunch oil condiment (which is mild and has smoky, earthy flavor) made everything even better. Guaranteed I’m going back.”

“There aren't enough stars to give this place. Family run and that's what you feel like when you go there. Buche, carnival, chicharones, chicken and ribs ( yes, ribs) are all outstanding. My neice comes back to CA from Austrailia and this is the place she wants to go. Even my buddy says it reminds him of how his grandparents cooked on their ranch in Jalisco. You absolutely will love this place. Do yourself a solid and get tortillas, they make them fresh every day.”

“I drive to the Concord location from Antioch because I don’t feel safe walking dogs or running errands in Antioch. I tried several other restaurants for burritos before settling here. Great chili verde burritos, always hot, fresh, pinto beans upon request, really nice people. Cinco sells enchilada sauce for people like me who like to make a tray of enchiladas at home to eat for a couple of fays. Reasonably priced.”

“I tried write my review through the survey on receipt but it wasn't working.. So I wanted to share my experience here. I came in the morning and ordered breakfast sandwiches, unfortunately I was disappointed with the eggs being over cooked and just not tasting as they normally do. I called right away and spoke with manager Sarah, she assured me that I could come back in anytime for replacements. I've heard this before from other places without any resolution but I figured I'd give them the opportunity to make it right.. I took them up on the offer after school pick up, except I really wasn't in the mood for eggs after the bite from earlier, employee Alexis went way above and beyond to make things right for us! Giving us even more than what I had asked be the replacement! Besides being very thrilled with the food given, I was even more impressed with Alexis, her attitude and understanding really made my day and the kids were happy with extra fries and nuggets she gave. We enjoyed our meal inside, and on the way home we passed a hungry man and his equally hungry dog, we had our fill and we were able to feed them as well. Good karma making its way around I guess, felt good being treated kindly and to pass the kindness along. Thank you Sarah, Alexis and the rest of the crew for treating us so amazing today! “Simple deli with imported Italian goodies. It seemed family owned and like they had regulars. Really nice people and community vibe. There are many sandwiches to choose or you can make your own. We got one muffuletta and one turkey bacon with pesto, mayo, cheese, and veggies. The gardenia on the muffuletta was delicious! Tangy, flavorful, and chunky. We tried the sourdough roll and it absorbed the gardenia juice really well and not soggy. The turkey was loaded! We got the Dutch crunch bread. Both were very good, bread was amazing I could just eat the roll. I can’t wait to go back.”

“My wife and I love this place. This is our go to for lunch. I always get the BBQ Beef with Rice or the BBQ Chicken with rice. Everything here is delicious. I’ve tried the Chicken Pad Thai, Yellow Curry and Rice, both BBQ plates and next I want to try the seared Duck. We come here at least twice a month for lunch. It’s a cozy little place and very welcoming. The hosts are always friendly and smiling. The food is delicious and the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I make the drive from Antioch every time because this place is a Home Run every time!”

This is a small family-owned restaurant where the husband cooks, and the wife, Clair, hosts. They are both very professional and coordial individuals. The place is small, but their food is full of flavor.

“I went to this place on Friday night to see a rock show. It was an Ozzy Osbourne tribute band. The place is your classic dive bar. There was a large stage on one end, and there were a lot of people walking around in costume because it was near Halloween. The band was pretty good. There was lots of standing room and a few tables. They’re probably should’ve been more tables because they were also serving food and people were standing around eating it. I’m a non-drinker and I had already eaten so I can’t comment to the quality of the food or the alcoholic drinks. I can’t say it was a fun place and the people that worked there were nice. The sound was pretty good and the decor was cool.

If they’re having a tribute band or an event there that appeals to you, Might want to check them out.”

“Sooooo, my husband took me to this place because I’ve never been and wanted a really good burger. It had 4.5 rating so I took a chance. I’m glad I did. When we walked in we were greeted warmly. It’s a hole in the wall vibe but very clean. Our chef was Serena, and boy oh boy did she craft us an amazing tasting double cheeseburger. We even asked for a medium cook and she delivered. We also ordered the onion rings, French fries, and a pineapple shake. These are a MUST!

“Was craving Bingsoo and stumbled upon this place via Google Maps! Pleasantly surprised with all the other extra snacks and goodies available. We ordered the Mango Bingsoo with mango ice cream. It was drizzled with a mango syrup in between the layers of snow. The mangoes were perfectly sweet and ripe, and we found the pricing to be extremely fair compared to other places we've been to. We also ordered the taro milk tea with rainbow jellies and the lavender iced tea with no sugar. The colors of both their drinks were beautiful and they looked as good as they tasted! The ratio of fat to meat was divine in its flavor, and the onions and aioli set off all the flavors. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Next was the Bruselas (crispy Brussels Sprouts) tossed in honey Dijon with pistachios! Sí!! Bravo!! Each sprout was cut in half lengthwise, and the layers were opened so the flavor permeated the entire piece of sprout, yummy! Nice touch and not too sweet. It was served a little cooler than what I would have preferred. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ Both tapas were generous portions and served as my meal for the evening. I ordered the Beet Salad to go. It’s done with mixed greens, roasted beets, red onion, feta cheese, almonds, with lemon vinaigrette on the side. I had a sneak peek and it proves to be delicious and so darn healthy! 5 out of 5 ⭐️”

It might’ve been the sugar talking, but everything we tried was next-level. Prices are fair, portions are solid, and the taste speaks for itself. What really stood out was the customer service. Even as the line grew behind us, the person helping us stayed calm, friendly, and didn’t rush us, just good energy all around. It’s order and sit outside spot so definitely know what you want and plan where you’re sitting after or before.
