“OMG 😳 The Ceviche (not counting my wife’s handmade ceviche) is the best I have ever tasted, and I’ve tasted a lot of ceviche. It’s soooo good. I had the Mango 🥭 Avocado 🥑 Shrimp 🍤 Ceviche it was like an explosion of flavors in my mouth, I couldn’t stop eating it. Great tacos 🌮 everything was beyond my expectations. I have probably walked by Puesto’s a hundred times but not anymore it will be my restaurant of choice when in Concord you have to try it. Sorry no picture of the Ceviche 😋”

Alexis, the event manager, was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was easy to collaborate with, helpful, knowledgeable, and incredibly professional throughout the entire planning process. Her expertise and attention to detail made everything seamless.

“I love their beef noodles! And the meat is not too bad - not chewy/fatty. Could use extra veggies or add a little more but otherwise it's ok. The morning silog are great! My daughter loves bangus so she orders bangus silog. We can't order bangus anywhere else (main stream restaurant) so this a treat for her. Breakfast has limited time so make sure to get there before it ends. My daughter and I order sesame balls to take home and eats halohalo for dessert (summer time treat) afterwards. We also order taho for winter treat to finished off our visit. This store is like a fast food place - first you order and pay for your food at the counter. Then wait for your food to call in and enjoy your food either eat-in or take out. Just like any other fast food restaurants.

“Had our Saturday Thanksgiving with the family here and not only did they accommodate for about 30 people, but the service was excellent! Everyone who helped us was obviously a team player because everything came out seamlessly!

Some family we hadn't seen in years and I'm happy we all had an amazing experience!

“Our first visit last night. If you want real Mexican food, this is the spot. We tried the Quesabirria and the street tacos and honestly it doesn’t get better than this. What really makes this place special is that it’s family owned and you can feel it. Mom is in the kitchen cooking everything herself and it shows. The food tastes cared for. And the margaritas were spot on too. Places like this are rare now. Honest food, warm people, and recipes that clearly matter to them. We’ll be back often.”

“Stopped in for breakfast. I had the San Francisco omelette with egg whites, country potatoes and sourdough toast. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I highly recommend especially when you don’t want to go the Denny’s and IHop route.”

“I ordered the mixed tacos with shrimp, fish, chicken, and chorizo. I really enjoyed the chicken and chorizo tacos—the seasoning was great, and the combination of meat and vegetables was delicious. The crispy tacos were especially tasty, and it’s nice that you can choose that style for all of them.

The shrimp tacos were good, but for my taste the shrimp were a little chewy and could have used a bit more seasoning.

Overall, the tacos were delicious, and I’d definitely recommend this restaurant. The place was clean, with enough seating for a group of four or at the bar. The staff were super friendly and happy to help with the menu.

“Pretty good. Crepe is bready, not thin or crunchy. They aint greedy with the strawberries. Crepe gets a 7/10 would be good again. The other one is got was nice and crunchy and light. Came with a scoop of ice cream. Went well. I was already full from the crepe so I wont really rate it but they had a lot of options. Try then out!”

It may take a while to get used to the healthier version of fast food, but think of it this way – it’s actually nourishing your body instead of poisoning it. The signature burger, made from organic quinoa and mushrooms is so much better for you than a burger made from meat. Same deal for the planet, with organic and 100% plant-based ingredients. I’m giving Next Level Burger 5/5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact for the following reasons: • 100% plant-based. Obvious major benefits to animals, society and the planet. • Organic ingredients. Again, benefits to the planet and society. • All packaging, down to the straws, is compostable. “I drive to the Concord location from Antioch because I don’t feel safe walking dogs or running errands in Antioch. I tried several other restaurants for burritos before settling here. Great chili verde burritos, always hot, fresh, pinto beans upon request, really nice people. Cinco sells enchilada sauce for people like me who like to make a tray of enchiladas at home to eat for a couple of fays. Reasonably priced.”

“I tried write my review through the survey on receipt but it wasn't working.. So I wanted to share my experience here. I came in the morning and ordered breakfast sandwiches, unfortunately I was disappointed with the eggs being over cooked and just not tasting as they normally do. I called right away and spoke with manager Sarah, she assured me that I could come back in anytime for replacements. I've heard this before from other places without any resolution but I figured I'd give them the opportunity to make it right.. I took them up on the offer after school pick up, except I really wasn't in the mood for eggs after the bite from earlier, employee Alexis went way above and beyond to make things right for us! Giving us even more than what I had asked be the replacement! Besides being very thrilled with the food given, I was even more impressed with Alexis, her attitude and understanding really made my day and the kids were happy with extra fries and nuggets she gave. We enjoyed our meal inside, and on the way home we passed a hungry man and his equally hungry dog, we had our fill and we were able to feed them as well. Good karma making its way around I guess, felt good being treated kindly and to pass the kindness along. Thank you Sarah, Alexis and the rest of the crew for treating us so amazing today! We'll definitely be back.”

This is a small family-owned restaurant where the husband cooks, and the wife, Clair, hosts. They are both very professional and coordial individuals. The place is small, but their food is full of flavor.

Since they reopened, they are closed on Monday’s, our usual day so it’s been 3 years since we’ve been there. They still recognized us though! This is a simple dining area with peanuts while waiting and an assortment of condiments to accommodate your meal. Unfortunately, Concord is their only location still in business for California.”

“Looking for Valentine's dinner with family and came here as the places we wanted to go were packed. But so glad we did as the food was beyond expectation. We started out with the corn chowder soup ..excellent and best we've had anywhere. Ordered Salt and Pepper Fish with slices of onions and peppers, Orange Chicken with a tangy sweet unique flavor, honey walnut prawns, and shrimp fried rice. All were excellent and we'll definitely be back. I'd drive across town just for the corn chowder.”

It’s a hole in the wall vibe but very clean. Our chef was Serena, and boy oh boy did she craft us an amazing tasting double cheeseburger. We even asked for a medium cook and she delivered. We also ordered the onion rings, French fries, and a pineapple shake. These are a MUST!

A different twist on an old-style recipe. The ratio of fat to meat was divine in its flavor, and the onions and aioli set off all the flavors. 5 out of 5 ⭐️ Next was the Bruselas (crispy Brussels Sprouts) tossed in honey Dijon with pistachios! Sí!! Bravo!! Each sprout was cut in half lengthwise, and the layers were opened so the flavor permeated the entire piece of sprout, yummy! Nice touch and not too sweet. It was served a little cooler than what I would have preferred. 4 out of 5 ⭐️ Both tapas were generous portions and served as my meal for the evening. I ordered the Beet Salad to go. It’s done with mixed greens, roasted beets, red onion, feta cheese, almonds, with lemon vinaigrette on the side. I had a sneak peek and it proves to be delicious and so darn healthy! 5 out of 5 ⭐️”

“I am so grateful that we finally have a late night chai/street food spot in east bay. Chai & co located at 2115 Pacheco st, Concord is a wonderful addition! We had the anda-shami royale, samosa chaat, and fresh naan khatai from khalifa (if you know, you know). All items were excellent and authentic! The space is well decorated with board games available and most importantly clean! We can’t wait to go back and work our way through the menu!”

“Been wanting to try this location since mom said they give you so much and it’s delicious. My sister ordered their short rib stew (one with cheese and one without), fried chicken and the jap chae. For drink: we tried the lychee soju. The short rib stew with no cheese is sweet. The meat falls of the bone tender. So good. Also tried the one with cheese, it just not as sweet but it’s as tender. Yummy. Would I go back yes. But I do recommend to make reservations. The place was quite busy. The service was excellent.”

All you can eat snow crab legs steamed, fried crab legs, oysters, mussels, shrimp, sushi bar, etc. Our used empty plates were taken off the tables promptly. Magnificent!”

“Humphry Slocombe Ice Cream is amazing. We always saw the long lines at The Veranda and finally decided to try it, and now we get it. The flavors are wild in the best way. Anything with chocolate, peanut butter, or cake? Game-changer.

It might’ve been the sugar talking, but everything we tried was next-level. Prices are fair, portions are solid, and the taste speaks for itself. What really stood out was the customer service. Even as the line grew behind us, the person helping us stayed calm, friendly, and didn’t rush us, just good energy all around. It’s order and sit outside spot so definitely know what you want and plan where you’re sitting after or before.
