I work in the building & the business is off putting. I've been unwelcome a couple of time & although I have frequently purchased & ignored the marked up prices -have been refused service before. Today - this afternoon, I was told by someone representing the establishment, that I have to "pay money to enter the door." I then had to buy a $2.00 red apple in order to get a plastic fork & some black pepper. Even though I work in the building, I will take a walk to an establIshment that can treat its customer with respect & friendliness. I hope they can improve, so I can give them another chance.

Ordered a side of chicken breast. They gave me chicken thighs. Really? White meat as opposed to dark meat. You should know the difference. New owners of this café in my building. Will never go again.

Horriible. As they do NOT propely prepare food orders they are slow worst of all if you are employee at Gateway they will not honor your gift certificate in full. You wont get change back. They need new people in there that make your order correctly.im inforing property manager too.they charge you for less quality food.

New owners may be in over their head. They have Peet's coffee with menu but cannot make a decent cup of coffee something simple like an americano. They need to take barista 101 classes. Also ordered a simple toasted bagel nothing on it. It was toasted for a minute which felt cold. I said toast it dark please. They don't listen, they are extremely slow. They don't know the prices of standard coffee drinks. The owner asks the other owner. Others who would frequent this cafe are saying the breads are old, food served is cold. I asked for items on the menu and they don't have it. I would rather just go here because it's just downstairs but it's so bad that I can't do that anymore. I am throwing my money away. Now I walk across the street or walk to Starbucks for a good cup of coffee and a toasted bagel. Please read the reviews and do what it takes to bring back the regular customers. Quick service, smile, speak English, serve Americans classics, like meatloaf, etc. stop hiding the napkins when you forget to give the napkins out. People who order food need napkins. Good luck new owners! I hope you do what it takes to bring back the customers.

This deli has gone downhill since the new owners took over. Most of the old employees are gone. The new help does not speak English. Some days they don't even have enough people working there to handle the lunch crowd. Just about everything you order is made wrong. You can repeat your order multiple times, but they just don't listen. The food is way over priced for what you are receiving. Bread is stale. Fruit is rotted. They are beyond slow. I've spent my entire 30 minute lunch break down there waiting for my order. I hope they see these poor reviews & seriously take a look at how they are running their business.

I am very disappointed in the new ownership of the cafe. The employees do not speak English and always get your order wrong, even after repeating yourself, several times. Since they now have a panini maker I asked for a grilled cheese sandwich, the person asked me what is a grilled cheese? I had to tell her how to make it. How can you work in a restaurant and not know what a grilled cheese is? The prices were raised and the wait time for lunch, even with no one in there is a minimum 20 minutes, my staff goes down for lunch and are gone a half hour waiting for a sandwich. Every time I order something on the special menu, they don't have it, including oatmeal. When you order a salad, they don't offer any bread or even a fork. I've noticed the last few weeks no one is in there, and I hope the owners see that as a sign to fix the issue, which is hire a staff that has worked in the food industry, even if it's fast food, and speak English and have fresh food on hand. At this point I'll bring lunch or walk to a nearby restaurant or even order door dash.

This cafe has new ownership. Last owners would give you the amount of chicken on your salad that you pay for. This new owner gives you alot less not worth 2.00. What a shame. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Do not go here - it sucks. Breakfast burrito? Gross Breakfast sandwich? NOPE BAGEL WITH CREAM CHEESE: THEY EVEN SCREW THIS UP The entire operation sucks. They rely on you being lazy and not wanting to leave the building for lunch. The new owners came in, upped the prices, did nothing to improve the quality, and do stupid things, like having non-English speaking people try and take orders. Just stay away. There are plenty of decent options within a block or two walk.

The staff is super friendly and the food came out much sooner than expected. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich and it was the bomb dot com. Will definitely be going back here!

So this sandwich is so delicious I did not personally go to this place but the owners went to set up an account we're i work she she gave me a sandwich which and not just because she gave it to me but it is really good I recommend this place

Probably won't be coming here again. This place is too expensive to be making orders wrong or for bad service. One girl just throws sandwhiches together with no care. Today I ordered a club sandwich no cheese. My order was repeated back to me and still made wrong. The girl remade my order but had an attitude. The only reason I come is for convenience but not anymore. I'll save my money and go elsewhere or bring my lunch.

That place is horrible and discussing. Food looks like it has been left out over night, the soda machine is gross and never clean. The workers are rude and are not healthiest looking group.

I hate to do this... but I've had enough, after 2 years of going in here every day I'm finally done giving this place a chance and I will no longer be going in this place for anything...first of all the place looks nice until you look closer, its disgusting, the food is an over price joke, and the products are expired. Icecream in the icebox was 2 years expired (all of them) the sandwiches are poorly made.. and the fruit isent even fresh.. today was the last straw though.. I ordered a "chicken diablo" which usually isent too bad... except the bacon was extremely old it was like eating a sundried flaky boot, the chicken was soggy and the tomatoes were definitely not fresh, Almost tasted like dead grass... never again will I come back
