I was shopping at the Park and Shop strip mall and saw a large window sign advertising alfajores - one of my favorite types of cookies - and I couldn't resist wandering into Izcalli. Izcalli opened here recently, joining Casa Del Alfajor & Rico Pan Bakery. This is a hidden gem. Almost tempted not to mention them. Their food is amazing. We have gone several times and each time it’s great. The Birria torte and red tacos are amazing. Privately owned. Soooooo good and there is a bakery in there too! Owners super nice.
