Came in to get food at 12:30 for lunch. Was told by the staff who were sitting around eating lunch that they were not serving now, it was their lunch time. So, won't be back again.

I've been meaning to stop by and browse this bakery for awhiles now even though I only come to this area about once every few months. The inside is very big and spacious overall, I came in the afternoon and it was dead in there, so I'm thinking it's more for the breakfast crowd or even early evening due to the coffee:drinks and baked goods. Anyways it took a few minutes for the baker or cashier to come out from the back, he seemed very helpful and he pointed out to a few things and I asked if he had a strawberry version of a shortbread cookie deal, since they had a guava and pineapple ones. The cookies were a tad expensive imo, but it's a small business so it's within reason. At home the strawberry cookies were pretty good overall and if it's open and I'm in the area again, I'll see if something else catches my eye.

Tried the Guava cookies and Cajeta stuffed Alfajores. They were so fresh and good. Customer service was helpful and kind without being pushy. Glad i randomly walked in today. Definitely want to come back.

They have not updated online that they do not have the kitchen open at the moment. They are unsure if it will return. They do have some pastries but I didn’t see a whole lot when I went in. It looked a bit empty but my friend raved that the cookie pastries she bought from them were really delicious. I had originally gone for the tacos de Birria and hoped they had Pan de Puddin. However they did not have any.

An unexpectedly great source for sourdough sandwich rolls at a great price. Their sourdough recipe matches their high-priced competitors. A real bargain. Love the cookies too.

This place has absolutely delicious birria tacos and consomé. This has been the only thing I've ordered from their menu (there's no other place I know of near me that serves these tacos) but I would also like to try their birria quesadillas. They're listed on the menu as "red tacos" and are about $15 for 3 tacos and the consomé is a separate extra cost. When it comes out fresh, the tacos are super cheesy and yummy. The building is very spacious and doesn't get too busy, so I always get to grab a table. In the middle of the restaurant, they display their desserts and pastries such as flan and alfajores. The restaurant is located in the Park and Shop surrounded by a lot of different Asian cuisines, dessert shops, and a grocery store. If you try parking close to the restaurant, that is the area that is the most congested, we always park in the back of the building.

Not only is the food fresh and delicious, they make the best bread onsite. And their homemade ice cream is the best in town. Great people too.

Had a great lunch today. Red Tacos - fried crispy with birria were my favorite. The Birria Torta was also very good - the roll that it came on was so good I bought just a roll of bread to take home as well. We'll definitely be back!

The red tacos are delicious as are the birria tortas. Everything cooked when ordered so super fresh. I can’t wait to go back and try the cookies and something different! Very friendly staff!

The BEST Guadalajara style tortas ahogadas in the SF Bay... they have a new expanded menu focusing on birria under a new name (Izacalli). Great cookies, alfajores, and imported Mexican snack foods, too!
