Why do people in Concord not eat breakfast all the time at Sugar Plum ? Always so consistently good from omelettes, to pancakes and French toast, to oatmeal ! Everything ! The service is very professional and friendly, and very efficient ! The second oldest restaurant in Concord, great ambience and I highly recommend it !
We shared eggs benedict in a nice little diner. Lots of the food looked great. We decided to share something & agreed on a Benedict. Nice homemade(?) Hollandaise and eggs cooked perfectly. However, the homefries that were hyped on the menu were just ok. Not really anything different about them. There were a few pieces of bell pepper, but I ended up asking for hashbrowns as well, which were a bit greasy. Overall, a cute little diner, a place we would try again. Second visit, had to sit at the counter facing the grill. It was a well orchestrated "symphony!" They worked so efficiently and effortlessly ! I ordered the chicken fried steak (see picture) , perfectly cooked and the gravy was delicious, bits of sausage. Staff work so well together with smiles. Definitely will return!
