My wife and I come here a little too much, but every time we go, the food keeps getting better! My wife OD on tacos today. Has two new favorites, fish and shrimp crispy tacos. Even I tried it, and OMG! My favorite is the al pastor burrito w/French fries. Made to perfection. Our two year old daughter can’t stop eating chips and salsa, it’s her favorite. We can honestly say this is better than any Mexican food place in SoCal, because that is where we are from. Thank you for great food. Keep up your many years of tradition.

This gringo loves him some Mexican food. Being lucky enough to grow up in the Bay Area and also spend a lot of time Los Angeles (dodgers suck) I've had a metric f*** ton of Mexican food. I also work in restaurants and our cooks throw down for staff meal every day so I feel I know what I'm talking about.... anyway this place is great lol. The steak burrito is bomb the fish tacos are good the carnitas is great. There are literally 30 places to go for a burrito within 5 around my house no lie. I live by todos santos in Concord. This is my go to spot and has been for years. I've tried other places but I always come back here. The people are hella nice too! I Just wanted to give them their props.

Best Mexican food restaurant I’ve ever tried. A friend recommended it, saying it’s been here for a really long time. What I like about it besides how delicious the food is, it’s how clean the kitchen is and how polite and nice everybody is. I usually only eat carnitas burritos because I don’t like any other meats, turns out what I didn’t like is the other restaurants because here I love every single thing they offer. The carne asada tacos are out of this world. Every order comes with chips perfectly made and 3 types of salsas. I love this place.

Taqueria La plaza never disappoints. Big menu - burritos and tacos always good, but the seafood stew is amazing. When I need to feed a lot of people at a good price, this is one of my go-tos.

I really love this place ever since I was a kid but there was this one lady keep glaring at us it made me uncomfortable I could tell that she is new worker for sure. But the food is really great and is the best place to eat there.

Did they change owners again? Or cooks maybe? I've been coming here for about 2 years and the food is always great and the people are friendly. I just got food from there tonight and it was not good. I ordered chicken flautas with flour tortillas, didn't get that, I got corn. They really skimped on the sour cream. And the beans and rice were gross. I tried to eat it but the whole plate had a really bad taste to it. I ended up cooking...

Best fish taco I've had... SO GOOD! Tried the chicken enchilada plate and the burrito which were all good, but nothing tops the fish tacos. This will be my go to place for just that!
So... good! We just moved to the area and first on our list was to find a great Mexican place! There's a million options in this area, and sadly the first one we tried was a massive fail, so we tried again. Found this place and it's perfect! We ordered grilled chicken super burritos they are flavorful, loaded with delicious fresh everything, and their cold green salsa is to die for on it. Haven't tried the tacos yet but we have high hopes! Give this place a try! Friendly service and awesome food. 10/10 would recommend!

My favorite Taqueria for burritos in Concord .Friendly service. They speak English .. which I feel is very important.. since I am not a big fan of cilantro. I've said no salsa sooo many times at other taquerias to later find chunks of raw onion and stemy cilantro in my burrito when I got home. I ordered the El Pastor burrito, my daughter chicken tacos and her dad half carnitas and half carne asada burrito. Perfect seasoning, quality meat.. not cheap or chewy. And never too greasy. They also know how to properly fold their burritos! The meat, rice, beans and cheese are always evenly distributed.. I'm may be kinda a weirdo like that.. I like bits of everything in every bite:) not all rice in one.. and all meat at the bottom of the burrito. ;)

This place is awesome! Been coming here since 2002! Original owners are back! They are excellent! Previously, the prior owners sucked - food was a hit and miss, mice droppings, etc. - they had all kinds of strange demographics of folks coming in, and tried to gentrify this taqueria! Thanks goodness I don't see fake gangbangers, punks, fake-ass "hipsters" and mid-westerners - those fools you could tell are not from the area! LOL!Now, it's nice and clean! The food is excellent!!!
