“I really love it here. Food is great, pastries are yummy and the staff does a heck of a job dealing with some of their, uh, tougher? Or uhhh, maybe high-maintenance is the better word? (Y’all know what I’m getting at ?) Corona Del Mar patrons. I come in to eat lunch often so see a lot of interactions and the staff is always kind, patient and respectful- even when (at times) it’s not reciprocated by their customers. They truly go above and beyond. Bravo!“

“My dogs favorite place to get meal toppers and camel milk. She’s very picky and have a very sensitive stomach and nothing else works. She drinks camel milk daily to relieve itchy skin and her poop is perfect every single day! The staff there is super knowledgeable and friendly and it’s literally the cutest pet store you can find in the world. Their treats and bakery is top notch too and I even got her a birthday cake. She loved it!“

“Came here over the weekend after wanting to try Giselle's for years. I was greeted by Alex, who was very kind and knowledgeable on the various treats. I purchased a couple of the PB&J protein bars and the chocolate protein bars. So yummy! PB&J was my favorite of the two. Major brownie points for being gluten free and 100% organic. “I called when the shop already closed and the baker told me to call back after 30mins so he can clean up a bit. The service is on top tier he said that he tried to read the phone manual just to find my phone number. How sweet he is. I dont know about cake sizes so I said i want 8" for 6people and he stop me and told me i should get 6' instead since 8' is too big. “Came here twice now delicious both times and have such a clean and yummy smelling environment. The employees are very friendly and we were guaranteed quality service. Totally coming back again!Kid-friendliness: Brought my little sister and brother for his 8th birthday to celebrate and they enjoyed getting to see our order being made and of course being able to have the cookies themselves. “What a great place ! Just push the door and you are in France. It starts with a little French Market where you can find all French specialty food that you really miss (when you've been away from home a long time) such as cookies like Pepito, barquettes, BN, Bonne-Maman jam, crème de marrons, drinks like Orangina and some really nice wines. But you will find also soaps, kitchen linen and other cute little accessories for your kitchen. I was impressed with the large selection of food they offer. Cakes, danishes, breads, everything made with authentic French recipes. It smells so good and looks so delicious that you want to eat a little bit of everything, very hard to make a decision. I opt for a flan, very simple cake that I didn't have for ages and I took a Brie Walnut sandwich to go for my lunch. The bread is so perfect soft and crunchy I could have eaten 2 more of those !!! They also have a large selection of salads, fresh fruits and few hot dishes too. You can eat inside or choose to seat outside where they have a huge patio with nice red umbrellas. I could spend a full day there by myself eating the best French food I had in LA area so far and look at the crowd walking around the display cases and wondering like me : "what am I going to eat today ?!?" “If you've never had a mochi doughnut, and you hate the overly sweet, nasty, American donuts! You'll love this version. A lot more mouth feel and chewier, I love the texture. If you've ever had mochi, you can tell it's in these donuts. LOL. We were getting ramen next-door and my little guy wanted a treat. The selection was mind blowing. Everything looked beautiful! We ordered the blue whatever you call it papa Smurf donut. It was surprisingly good. Not so much sugar like an American donut. I can't wait to come back and get a big old fancy box of different flavors.“

“Simply Sweet Cakery was one of the wedding cake vendors through our wedding venue University Club by Wedgewood Weddings. Brooke and Christina were a delight to work with and so organized! To be completely honest, we actually did two different cake tastings because we were a little concerned with the cake texture during our first tasting and we wanted to try some additional flavors. We ended up choosing two cake flavors: lemon raspberry and red velvet. Let me tell you...I was completely blown away by the final product on our wedding day. The wedding cake was actually a priority for us, but let me tell you...it was delicious!! During our cake cutting, I stuck my fork in the cake for another bite because the initial bite was THAT GOOD. It wasn't overly sweet and the texture was spot on and so moist. So so happy that they were one of the preferred vendors of my venue!!“

“This is my favorite Japanese bakery in Fountain Valley! The lines are pretty long on the weekends but totally worth the wait. Their avocado turkey sando, katsu sando and niku pan are really good options for a quick lunch. They also have very scrumptious cakes by the slice here. Their cream puffs sell out easily on Saturday and Sunday mornings. This location is newer than the Tustin one, good lighting and clean tables. Staff here is very friendly.“

We went for a Sunday afternoon donut run and tried Sweet O's for the first time. It was an instant hit with those cute bear (I think?) face donut, my child loved and said it was delicious. “They were very responsive to emails. I first filled out web inquiry and got a reply on the same day. They were booked for tasting appointment very fast so make sure you contact them early as they only have appointments available during the week Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays between 1pm and 6pm. Saturdays from 9am-4pm. The tasting appointment was an hour long and it's FREE!!! Some other places I looked at will charge you for tasting and even though the tasting charge might be deducted from final order, it made me feel much better when there was no cost to start with as wedding was already expensive. The place was a little bit hard to find since it was office-like looking from outside and I thought it was bakery-like. They have parking lot. My husband and I tried so many different favors of cake and they were so delicious. We had a hard time deciding which ones to get because we had more than three favorite. During the appointment, they also showed you what style of cake they offered and its pricing. We went with the basic so there was no add-on cost, but they can custom-make your order if you show them pictures of what you want with additional cost (and trust me the price is fair). We ended up ordering a 3-tier ice in white buttercream cake with 12" white with mango, 9" almond with cappuccino & chocolate mousse, and 6" mocha chip with rosy mauve ribbon around tiers for 100 guests for my wedding. They emailed us a week before the wedding to confirm there was no changes and the order was correct. The cake was delivered on time and was decorated with fresh flowers my florist provided on site by the delivery staff. (If you have cake topper, you can either drop it off to the shop or have it installed on site by delivery staff. Either way, you need to let them know in advance so they can make sure your cake is structurally stable for the cake topper weight.) My wedding cake looked pretty and it tasted good. I received lots of compliment from the guests. On the side note, they would charge you more if you use American Express credit card. And you only need to pay deposit on the site but they don't have online system for you to pay the remaining online. Since we didn't have cake topper to drop off and did not want to make another trip just to pay the balance, we paid it in full the same day of tasting. This would be two suggestions for improvement, but they still deserve a 5-star for their service, the quality (taste/look), and the friendly price. Ohh and did I mention that you do receive a complimentary one year anniversary cake? That's for sure a big PLUS since my husband and I were too busy to have our own wedding cake at our wedding. We are very looking forward to our one year anniversary! All you need to do is to contact them 3 weeks prior to your one year anniversary to place the order. Give them the date of your wedding and the name the order is under and they will pull up your file and place the order. Yup it's 3 weeks, not 2 weeks. They are definitely getting busier and that's how good they are! If you are still looking for wedding cake or cake for any event, this is where I would recommend.“

“I could have cried tears of joy. It is nearly impossible to eat dessert with my family being that I am gluten free and dairy free and they are not. Enter Milk & Cookies!! I did an actual happy dance. The dairy free vanilla ice cream with the gluten free chocolate chip cookie was outstanding. What I saw were two customers cussing and shouting each other out while the service workers were just shocked at the interaction. One customer was telling Ash Cuessy's Father not to be rude to service staff who were simply doing there job. It's astounding to me that people think they can treat workers however they want.What's also shocking is the race bating that occurred in @Ash Cuessy dishonest review. We also enjoyed the fact that the funnel cake and churros are freshly made. The strawberry topping was just a little too sweet for us. I stopped by the shop to get a sense of what they were about and spoke with Penelope's husband who was so passionate about his wife's cakes, I ended up ordering an 8' vanilla butter cream cake. Per their instructions I let the cake sit out for what turned out to be a little over 5 hours before serving and I have to say, this is, without a doubt, the best cake I've ever had and it's not even close. Spinach Kolache: A budget steakhouse cream spinach that is served on a flat bread. The cream (or cheese) overpowers the spinach taste but it's still good. Bbq brisket Kolache: It tastes like generic bbq. What do you expect from $3? The brisket was a bit difficult to identify given that bbq sauce reigned supreme in the interior. Plus points for not skimping out on the filling. Service: Nothing to speak of. Staff rang me up, microwaved my Kolache, and I went on my way. Ambiance: The store setup would be concerning if there were a lot of flies due to to open and exposed nature of their products. Given that there were none, all is good. Kitchen/bakery looked nice though.“

“I am sensitive to gluten, dairy, eggs and try to stay away from soy. When I saw this place I couldn't believe my eyes. When I ate their sweets I couldn't believe my taste buds. Omg! Sooo good! That said, it's hit or miss depending on what you buy. The raspberry & chocolate roll cake was fantastic. Loved the cookie with sprinkles too. The brownie with cookie dough was not my favorite. “A quaint macaroon shop, right on the California 1 Highway in Laguna Beach. After 24 macaroon varieties, all of them are gluten free with many dairy free. Each bite explodes with flavor, but is a perfect balance of sweet flavor and soft texture. As a coffee fanatic, the Colombian coffee macaron definitely hit my taste buds. Friendly staff and a warm-hearted atmosphere as you enter.Street parking is extremely limited in the area, so you may have to find a paid parking lot and take the walk to reach this macaroon and candy shop.“

“monster muffins cured me of my sweets addiction.I have to thank this place bc their muffins are so good that they ruined my taste for low quality processed desserts. You can tell from the taste of the muffins that they use quality real ingredients. Definitely real butter instead of the ultra processed vegetable oils.
