“This was my first time visiting this location while waiting for my brother, who was getting his hair done at the beauty salon right next door. I decided to try the bacon avocado cheeseburger combo, and I got it lettuce-wrapped instead of with a bun. The burger did not disappoint! The bacon was perfectly crispy, and the thousand island dressing had a unique sweetness to it that I’ve never tasted before—it really stood out. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. The fries were golden, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, just the way I like them. I also got a Coke, a side of ranch, extra thousand island, and some yellow chilies—all delicious additions.

The ordering process is quick and simple. You order at the counter, then take a seat, and they bring the food out to you. What stood out to me is how clean and well-kept the restaurant is—there's not even a trash can in sight because the staff clears everything for you. The space is cozy, with about six tables. Most tables comfortably fit four people, except one smaller one that could seat two.

After my meal, I ordered a mango smoothie to-go for my brother, an iced coffee for my hairdresser, and an iced vanilla-style chai oat milk latte for myself. Every drink was well-made and full of flavor.

Even though it’s not a full dine-in restaurant, the service was amazing. The woman who brought my food (according to the receipt, her name was Diana) went above and beyond. She kindly checked if I needed anything else and even offered extra sauces and chilies without me having to ask. She was polite, attentive, and really added to the overall great experience.

Prices here are reasonable—what you’d typically expect from a quality casual restaurant. Just a heads up: there is a \$0.75 surcharge if you pay with a card, which is pretty common now.

All in all, great food, great drinks, clean space, and standout service. I’ll definitely be coming back if I’m in the area again!“

“I think I finally found my to go place. I live in palm springs and go to little Bangladesh in Los Angeles and surrounding areas for. Bangladeshi food. Found this hidden gem. I picked up 3/4 different dishes and some sweets. This place is now saves in my car GPS and in Google as my favorite deshi food place to go to. They even offered me a tea while I was waiting. The owner (assuming) was very pleasant and made me feel like home.

“This is Burger King so you should know what you are going to get, but I just came in to use the app for a free fry so I got an ice cream cone and fries. No issues, it was mostly empty in a Saturday afternoon and the staff was nice and accommodating.

Kid-friendliness: No issue having kids inside. No “play place”, though.“

“Service was ok as it took a couple of minutes to be greeted and our order taken. This was due to one employee working the front line and they were concentrating on the drive thru.
Ordered 2 Western Bacon Cheeseburgers and they were fresh and hot.

Unfortunately while were finishing up our meal a homeless person came into the restaurant and asked us for money, when we said no he left but came back 2 minutes later and sat at the table next to us and just started. I did not feel safe and got up and left.“

“I stopped here after coming down from the Big Bear area only having to be delayed 2 hours due to a road closure and a fire. It was kind of frazzled. My server was wonderful. See you just did a perfect margarita and she was right. It was a perfect! I ordered up the chicken, potato and broccoli dish. It is always just delicious! Definitely did not disappoint. There is one gentleman server. I wish I would have got his name. He had a wonderful smile. I told him that I appreciated this smile and it made him even smile more. And every time he walked by we giggled as we smiled at one another. His kindness mattered! He and my server and just the whole experience was a perfect way to calm down before returning home. “Ok so this is a review for a particular visit and not this location and establishment overall. The experience was significant enough for me to feel compelled to do this despite the understanding that this isn't the generally accepted and common usage of reviews. So, this temescal rd carls has been hit and miss over the last 20 years I've been visiting it. Mostly just ok with a relative slightly above average when comparing to other locations. With that being said I'm of the opinion that food serving establishments product has went down the tube's in comparison to that of 20+ years ago. This could be a not necessarily accurate "personal" perception issue or an accurate in reality across the board issue but that is here nor there. This reviews is to express my amazing almost time traveling threw taste and eating experience that I really have only come a slight inclination of experiencing before. I made my famous star"no cheese' combo with onion rings and cherry coke order on the app and proceeded to drive thru to pick up. When I got to the window I pardoned myself and asked the girl if she could possibly assure that my onion rings where cooked well because I had received undercooked ones on the last few visits. I was given my food and my stomach decided I would park and immediately eat my food. I do realize that this(my hunger and immediate consumption could) have a significant influence on my experience but with that said. It was great. I was a kid again devouring what at different times could be accurately described as my favorite fast food. The burger even looked the same as years gone by(with the exception of the split top bun which they adopted several years back) with all the condiments including mayo and ketchup-relish in the perfect proportions the onion rings where almost unrecognizable when compared to those recently encountered. Cooked perfect and if I didn't know better I would be suspicious of them being sliced from whole onions dipped and dregged in store. Anyways the whole experience was too good to not say(write) something. For the record I've had some not too great luck at this location once or twice and before this if you asked me about carls I'd respond with meh or what are my choices? But this experience has me very(hopefully not too) hopeful for the next time I find myself with them as a choice or option.“

“I'm not sure who served me today in the drive thru, but they are excellent at customer service! I was getting food for my brother and he wanted ranch. I asked for ranch after I was charged and the guy with glasses was so sweet to me! Customer service is always welcoming and efficient. Time I was there was on 8/2/25 5:14 pm. When I called him on the size of the pancakes, after pay a 25% increase, the waitress apologized and brought me back out their normal size larger pancakes. As it turns out, it seems like every Denny’s is different. This one is certainly taking advantage of its customers unless they speak up.“

“Food is always fresh and flavorful at Farmers. Today is National Salad Day any salad 1/2 price. With California raising minimum wage to $20 an hour fast food has become too expensive unless there is a special promotion. Unfortunately I think the result will be fast food restaurants will begin to close locations as customer demand drops off due to increased prices.“
