The cake was decorated ok, but it was extremely dry and didn't have much of a taste at all. I chose this bakery because of the high ratings, not sure how she has 5 stars. Very disappointed, we ended up throwing away three quarters of the cake. Will not order from this company again.

OMG, this cake was AMAZING!!!! Laurice works magic! It was literally a week prior to my daughter's bday and I wanted to give her a Roblox cake because she LOVES Roblox, her only request was that it be a red velvet cake! I scrounged around and Laurice responded to me almost immediately and took my order even being so busy already! And the price made it even better! I am so grateful for Laurice and Sweet Moments! She brought my cake vision for my daughter's birthday to life and it tasted SO GOOD too!!!

Ordered a custom 8 inch cake to celebrate the 21st anniversary of my wife's 21st birthday. (That should sink in shortly) I was able to discuss the specifics of what I was looking for over a phone call, but the actual ordering process was done via email, which worked out well for me. My wife had very specific requests, white cake with buttercream frosting, a layer of strawberry, and a layer of pineapple filling. Picked up the cake this morning to enjoy this evening. The cake was perfect! The cake was tender and moist. The buttercream and both fillings were well balanced and flavorful. Everything was perfect and completely exceeded every expectation. I asked for the decorations to be kept simple and asked for the baker to use their discretion. I was delighted with the very elegant piping work, that was beautiful in its simplicity of design. We will certainly be coming back for all of our future cake orders!

I absolutely cannot express the exemplary customer service Laurice provides. I wish I could give more stars. I have never left a review, good or bad, for anything; but my experience with Sweet Moments absolutely demanded I do. I mixed up the date for my grandson's birthday and was trying to order a custom cake for 30 in less than a week. I called EVERYWHERE, and of the few people/places that actually answered, no one could do it. Originally Laurice told me she couldn't, and even then, she gave me her time, helping with suggestions and referrals. She then told me if I couldn't find anyone, to call her back and she'd see what she could do. Well, I called back. And she found a way in her insanely crazy schedule to help me. I told her I wanted a solar system themed cake, but I wasn't picky and she could do what she wanted. She sent me a few pics and I told her what I liked about each of them. The cake I picked up from her was absolutley adorable. A total show-stopper. EVERYONE raved about how awesome it looked. And they just kept raving after we cut into it. Moist, delicious chocolate cake with butter cream frosting and strawberries! Soooo good!! I drove from OC to pick up this cake during the 91fwy shutdown, and let me tell you I'd do it again for that cake and that level of kindness, customer service and talent!! Thank you Sweet Moments! You are epic!!!!

I have purchased cakes from her in the past & never had an issue. I'm disappointed in my experience this time around. I was inquiring about a small cake for my daughter. In my opinion the design was very simple. Just wanted a pink cake with a girl ninja. Most of the responses from her were that she would try, but did not come across as confident. She said she would find a similar image. I was not able to see the image prior to purchasing. I would prefer to know what I am paying for. Her email to me was rude and stated "seems I am very particular." I would hope most people would want to know what they are purchasing ahead of time. I decided to go elsewhere.

I was looking for a dessert company that makes custom cakes and desserts for my niece's 1st birthday. I wasn't too sure what I wanted. All I had were a couple of photos from Pinterest. Laurice was very responsive and helpful throughout the whole process. She helped me narrow down my ideas and ultimately helped me choose a great 2 tier cake design and cookie combo for the party. Payment was easy, via Zelle, and also reasonable considering all the custom designs + delivery service. My guests and I were so impressed with the uniform detail of each individually wrapped cookie. The cake had such beautiful details as well--not to mention it was delicious! I chose Brown Sugar Vanilla Cake with Brown Sugar Buttercream. I feel like cakes are sometimes hit or miss with guests because everyone has their own preference of sweetness levels. However, literally every guest complimented the aesthetic and flavor of the cake. I will definitely be ordering from here again. So very happy with this service!

I contacted Laurice when she shared she could help me make the cake I was hoping to have for my party. The cake that ended up being done was much more than I had hoped for. I had a picture of what I wanted and she made it happen. I even asked her to do some extra stuff such as the Cassette tape and more detail on the lettering and wood board panels at the bottom. Her attention to detail is incredible. Not only did it look amazing, but the cake was VERY good too. Myself and my party guests all loved how the cake looked and tasted. She's was very communicative through the whole process and had a very organized approach of how to order. She's also very friendly! I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants a delicious and beautiful looking cake. I would 100% order from Laurice again for other parties. I can't say enough good things about my experience ordering cakes here. First off, she completed a last minute smash cake for my son. I was so grateful she made it happen for our photoshoot. Then I contacted her again to do a cake for his first birthday. She was very accommodating with the design and my ideas, and it was everything I had hoped for and more. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted AMAZING. I never knew that a cake could look and taste so yummy! There were so many people asking where I got it from. Worth every penny, and I highly recommend Laurice!
