A delicious fish taco for on-the-go when I am crossing the Coronado bridge heading home! Economically priced, flavorful and perfect for one-handed dining (smile). I prefer the standard fish option vice the various shrimp and "protein-of-the-month" offerings.

Better than your typical fast food. Many options for vegetarians... just ask. We love the Grilled Veggie Burrito especial. Take one minute and download the app as you'll always get something... free drink, chips and guacamole, other side. Hoping the location in Oceanside off College reopens soon!

Consistently out of/don't have/discontinued all the best menu items. Frequently gets orders wrong and they get sinppy at you if you ask for what you actually ordered.

Completely unacceptable to serve such horrible food for KIDS. Ordered the chicken tenders and they looked very greasy. There's was no chicken in most. Very sad that this is offered for children whom most of the time will go unnoticed. Lucky we inspected it and had to throw it away. I hate throwing away food but I wouldn't call this food anyway. Totally uneatable. Waste of money. Also, the fish tacos were mostly greasy batter as well. Don't recommend it.

Rubio's is a good choice for lunch if you're on base. It's part of the Navy Exchange food court which overall gets fairly busy during middle of the workday. You'll order and then it's a short wait while they prepare your food (might as well stake out a table). They'll call out your ticket number when it's ready. The fish burritos haven't disappointed. They have a salsa bar but since Covid, you have to tell them which salsa flavors you want and how many (they come in little plastic containers). Goes well with the freshly made nacho chips on the side.

I like the food at Rubio's, never had a problem before. If you are out of chips, tell me you are out. Don't fill my order like this. Hoping this is a one-time issue

I called them back to explain their error and requested a refund, only to be told that they will not process my refund over the phone and that I must come physically back with the order. I live 45 minutes away from this location. Very inconsiderate and unreasonable policy. Will be disputing this charge with my bank since they will not give me a refund for their mistake. Thank you for nothing

This is only restaurant I know that serves their tacos with flour instead of corn tortillas. I'm always disappointed when I order the Salsa Verde or Mahi Mahi combination tacos meals and it arrives in flour tortillas. Flour tortillas are for burritos and quesadillas. At a minimum, they should ask which do I prefer with my meal. Otherwise, I would have given them 4 to 5 stars.

The Rubio’s aboard Coronado Island is hands down the best! My food is always perfect! I once made a mistake with my order and they corrected it and ensured that I received my order the way I like it! This food is awesome and so is the service!! Definitely worth multiple visits!!
