“This ice cream parlor has some very delicious treats. I am huge ice cream sandwhich fan and the fact that you can customize your own ice cream sandwhich with so many different flavors of ice cream and types of cookies was great! Plus it tasted amazing!“

“I ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ this place. The owner, Tom is solid, kind, hands down, traditional, & old school. I walked into his shop about 8 years ago for the first time, by chance & I've been a regular ever since. My oldest son who is now 12, as well as my youngest that is now 7 have been regulars. ? He sells Mitchell's as well as Bud's ice cream. He makes excellent sandwiches at an unbelievable price, as well. I always make it a point to stop by Miyako when I am in the Fillmore. His shop is a neighborhood gem, and that's putting it lightly. He's a Godsend. I love to support mom & pop businesses. He's one of a kind. I also ❤️❤️❤️ the fact that he has bowls filled with candy for sale. He also sells cigarettes (rebel! ?). I love real people and Tom is just about as real as real gets. He is cash only and, I love the sign that he has up that reads, CASH ONLY, NO CREDIT, PLEASE DON'T ASK. He's as sharp as a tack.Kid-friendliness: Tom is awesome with kids. He knows both of my boys. I always give him a wink when it comes to my son's. He saw the look of horror on my face one day when my son was ordering a cone and his portions are very generous. He said, " All you have to do is wink at me next time." In giving them a smaller scoop. ?? He's on spot with everything!“

“I've had the Sea Salt Caramel which was good but the Cornflake cookies w/ Marionberry jam is my favorite and don't forget the waffle cone. The Double Vanilla was a let down. I was expecting ultimate vanilla bean flavor since that's what was advertised but there was barely any flavor at all. Taste like cream with light sugar and vanilla flavor. There is way more exotic flavors than the ones most people know and love. Therefore, this couldn't be my primary ice cream spot. But I encourage anyone to try them out.“

“My wife and I had the French Vanilla at a restaurant in Healdsburg and fell in love with the creamy and stretchy makeup of this amazing gelato. I just stopped by their factory in San Rafael and was greeted by this wonderful lady, Mary who got me addicted to several other flavors. It’s like going to Italy without having to pay for the airfare. I am walking away with a few thousand calories of goodness for the weekend.“

“The ice cream was absolutely delicious, and you get quite a scoop as well. The guy (sorry don’t know your name) behind the counter was super sweet and let us try a couple of flavors before deciding what to get :). They also offer diary-free/vegan ice cream, which was also delicious!“

“We were shopping in this street and were very hungry. My kid spotted this pizza place and we decided to go there. As vegetarians we ordered the Agarlic Pie, margharita pizza and garden pizza for 4 of us. We absolutely loved this cute little pizzas. All of them were great. Kids also enjoyed it. Will definitely visit next time when we are in this neighborhood!“

“I stopped by today for my first visit and had the honey lavender gelato. It was perfection! The complimentary wafer added an extra touch. Definitely recommended on an unusual warm day like today, or any day, really. I look forward to trying out the lemon gelato next!“

“Long line bc they can only serve one customer at a time. But totally worth it. You don’t get to “try” flavors like other places but the 4 flavors we got were all fantastic. Pricing is also very reasonable. It comes with the cone so you don’t have to pay extra for a cone or generate waste with a cup. They give you a metal spoon if you require it and spoons are returned to them to be cleaned and reused. Love this place!“

“Delicious ice cream, especially for those who can no longer handle dairy. Every flavor is delicious, which makes it so hard to choose! I come here often due to proximity of the ferry and boy is it dangerous. The staff is always welcoming and there’s never been a line. Check it out if you have the time!Vegetarian options: Everything!Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy and vegan!Kid-friendliness: Kid sizes!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“

“Ahi burger uses thick-cut raw food grade tuna, the surface is slightly seared and the inside is still raw. The crispy bread is sandwiched with fresh and sweet tuna. It is delicious when eaten directly!!The handmade milkshakes made using ancient methods are rich in flavor but not sticky. They are sweet but not overly sweet. They are the best milkshakes I have ever tasted.“

“Yay, another ice cream place ? it’s been open since 1966!Cookies and cream is a good flavor here; they had black walnut, moon rocks, and blueberry. We ended up with cookies and cream, almond, and moon rocks. They let me have 3 samples . There’s also many variations in scoops, if only they had 3 small scoops.“

“Really good service and ice cream. Their ice cream choices and menu choices have a lot of really good options and are super tasty. There’s always a line out the door at this place tho because they are well known for the matcha quality and the good ice cream and lattes. They are pretty fast service too.“

“I moved from SoCal to San Francisco in June of 2023. I've seen a number of sandwich shops and I pass by Marina Submarine everyday on my way to work. Today I was craving a sandwich and even saw a few posts about sandwiches on social media today, so I decided to stop in Marina Submarine. I've never tried a tuna melt, but it was raining today and it was calling my name. Not only was this tuna melt AMAZING, but it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! It's really awesome to try something for the first time and be blown out of the water! The jalapeño on this sandwich gave it a nice subtle heat and added layer of flavor. The sourdough bread was perfectly toasted. First time here and it didn't disappoint! I'm very impressed and I'll be back.“
“During our transit from the Southern part of France, we stayed near Gare du Nord. As our daughter loves Italian food, especially a pizza margarita or peperoni, we searched for a good place to eat. This spot is really amazing. A really open and nice atmosphere, with friendly staff and excellent food. The pastas were delicious, as well as the pizza margarita. A really must-to-do (eat) place, when you are near Gare du Nord and or Gare l’Est.“

“If you've never had mochi or mochi ice cream, you should definitely order 2 or 3 of those here. We like salted caramel the best. The soft-serve ice cream is solid too, especially the seasonal flavors. If there's no seating available on the nearby benches, go upstairs, there's a couple more benches there, and they're usually available.“

“I LOVE Kiss of Matcha. It's my favorite matcha place in the bay area and I always come here when I'm in the Richmond district. The matcha soft serve is by far the strongest matcha soft serve I've had here (they also put matcha powder and a matcha syrup on it to give it even more matcha flavor). If you don't like strong, slightly bitter matcha, you probably won't like it. But I love it. Just be warned: it will keep you awake for hours afterward (I'm highly sensitive to caffeine, though, so YMMV).Their drinks are also really good. My favorites are the strawberry matcha latte (so much better than Boba Guys) and the regular matcha latte. They hand-whisk the matcha there, so it's more authentic than some other places. They also offer hojicha lattes and drinks, which is nice.Their croffles are also really good. I love the matcha one the best.I'm not super big on their parfaits. I got one one time just for the bamboo cup, but wasn't a fan of the red bean at the bottom or the corn flakes. They also offer Too Good to Go bags all the time, but I've only ever gotten vanilla ice cream in cups with corn flakes or other toppings (never any matcha).I just wish they had more seating. I enjoy sitting there and looking out the window while drinking matcha when seats are available. There's only about 4 spots in front of the window. There is a bench outside to sit now, though, which is nice.Highly, highly recommend this place if you love matcha like I do.“

“I ordered matcha and vanilla ice cream. Delicious ice cream flavor, not too sweet. The queue was quite crowded due to the holiday, but the staff worked quite quickly so I didn't have to wait long. It takes about 10 minutes to have ice cream. The small shop has no seats, you can bring ice cream to a chair in the middle of the mall to eat.“

“Although I've lived in San Francisco, I've avoided this place because I thought it was just a boring tourist spot selling chocolate, but I was wrong. It's actually a pretty cool historic place, with a fun, vibrant atmosphere, lots of different types of food and shopping and games and of course chocolate and ice cream. The sundae and banana split type ice cream bowls were good, but frankly later that night I felt like I was going to vomit from all the sugar and cream and fat, but that's more my fault than theirs, for eating so much. Also cool location across from a park and the Bay/ocean. Overall it was a good, fun experience, for less than $20! Please ?, if helpful or accurate ?.“
“I had been craving fro-yo/soft serve for a while, so when I was tasked with picking the team post-lunch dessert, I knew exactly what I was looking for. Shoutout to Yelp for helping me find this hidden gem, and yes, it is pretty hidden! It's tucked away down an alley you might not think to venture down unless you know what you're looking for. I got a small (which is actually pretty big) half chocolate soft serve with French custard and Oreos on top and it was exactly what my heart, mouth, and stomach had been craving. It was so good in fact that I devoured it within minutes. The man working was nice and answered all our questions about toppings and the different sizes. So happy we found this spot!“

“Kicked it at Kaleidoscope Coffee in Point Richmond! It's not your typical coffee shop – during the day, it's a cozy spot for coffee and ice cream, and at night, it turns into a lively hangout with performances.Their menu is full of local goodies like Tara's Organic Ice Cream and Wrecking Ball Coffee. I tried their unique creations like beet hummus and indulged in Revolution Muffins and Bakin’ Vegan pastries – all delicious! The atmosphere is buzzing with energy and community spirit. Kaleidoscope Coffee is definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!“
“Double Rainbow is me and my daughter’s favorite spot. We love going there after getting food at Crepevine or Taqueria Bahía. Me and my daughter love the flavor it’s a goody! “As a french person born and raised in Brittany where Crêpes are from, this is the first place in the US that I find really knows how to make good crepes ! Very tasty and Millie is very nice to chat with. The whole area where this place is located is very nice to walk around and as a group you can get food from different places and sit at the tables outside.“
“Finally tried this place in the Inner Sunset District, got me the 3x berries with captain crunch, raspberry syrup, & fruity pebbles, the only thing i didn't like was the long wait to be precise 30 mins! i'm glad they finally opened one of these in SF, the price is a bit pricey but once in a while it doesn't hurt to try this place out.Update: they have now moved to Clement & 25th Ave. plus you can get all the toppings you want for free! Plus you’ll be greeted by the owners son outside, he’s the one who is telling people to try it out lol. Was sad when they closed this place in the Sunset but glad they re-located & closer to my house now!“

“The place does serve amazing customizable ice cream sandwiches, but the ice cream seemed to harden the Cookie Monster cookies, so they’re not easy to scoop with a spoon. I would dare say the sandwiches made with the Gooey Butter cookies are the best way to go; very soft & I had no problems eating my sandwich with the spoon. The portions are big; I’d suggest skipping lunch like we did. It’s a great casual dessert place conveniently located in North Beach/Chinatown. I would probably agree with other reviewers saying certain staff members are a bit surly, but we would still visit again on our next trip.“

“Great quality ice cream that will not disappoint. They don’t have many fancy flavors (though I really like the trail mix) but each flavor is unique and well-crafted.They also give alot for a single (which you can split) so overall it’s great deal amount and quality wise.“

“I went in for a Seattle’s Best Oat Milk Latte. Stopping here after Trader Joe’s was a much better idea than walking across the street to Pee’s. Just another good competitive coffee joint and obviously, I’m glad it’s there to celebrate the finishing of a multi-stop errand run.“
“I‘ve been wanted to try this place for a long time. It’s so much fun to watch them preparing your ice cream and everything is managed right in front of you.You can choose your ice cream flavours, the toppings and then they are rolled up.The ice cream is made daily with fresh fruits and ingredients. The choice of topping is pretty huge and tasty.Definitely will go back to try out other combination.“
“So good but so pricey as well. A part of me loves the tanginess of the drink, while another part of me cannot justify $7 for the portion sizes. I love the strawberry drinks here as it hits the spot. The menu here is more extensive than other Yomie's and they serve coffee, tea, and bites which I found interesting! The strawberry bits and the sweetness mixed perfectly together and made a slightly sweet tartiness with just the right amount of ice. The drink tasted perfect in terms of creaminess and it was great as a refreshing afternoon snack.Parking was simple and plentiful-- a rare occurrence in San Francisco but made the drive more laid back for me.“
“This place was very organized. Tables were clean and same with chairs. My family ordered the Pink Lady ice cream roll and it beats all the other ice creams I ever had. You can also see the way they make the ice cream and it was extremely satisfying. Unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. Ice cream has very rich taste. Highly recommend this place!Kid-friendliness: Staff was very friendly and helpful.“
