Sandwich was tasty but overpriced. There are many nearby places that are cheaper. Not a lot of meat on the pastrami sandwich.

A local eatery in which anyone who's a regular can tell you is top notch this deli boasts freshness & quality by using high-grade meats and cheeses such as Boar's Head paired with exquisite baguettes from C'est Si Bon and to-die rye that creates a kind of alchemy that may have only existed in your sandwich dreams. You'd have to come back for either two visits or save your stomach for a big lunch to try some of their classics : the pastrami & the turkey club. Ask for the pastrami grilled with the cheese melted well (you can't go wrong with some extra pastrami as well ) or a turkey club on a baguette with everything and throw some sprouts in there as well! This place is a gem of a find :)

I came in for a sandwich today and very clearly communicated my order. The employee was very dismissive and unfriendly which I wrote off as him being busy. He told us 10 minutes wait, we came back after more than 10 minutes to find him standing at the counter doing nothing and then proceeded to make us wait an additional 10 minutes until he finally handed us our food and abruptly walked away. I got back to work and my order was completely wrong and when I returned, they were closed. So how do I get my money back now?

Purchased an Italian and a Pastrami sandwich. Ate on the outside tables. I ate 1/2 my wife's Pastrami and we had stomach issues within 30 minutes. BEWARE!!!!!

If you are hungry for a delicious sandwich stop by 17th Street Deli...they do sandwiches BIG & HEARTY!!! There are a variety of sandwiches to pick from or let them build your own. I had half of a pastrami sandwich on rye w/coleslaw on it, grilled, cheese & a special sauce, bag of chips, bottle of water. ALL the Ingredients are freshly made. The shop is super clean, simple & quiet because people are in & out. Great place to place a to go & pick up order, especially for lunch. Great place to eat if your a minimalist also. The atmosphere is very chill & relaxed. Customer service was FIRST CLASS!!! Thank you Hannah(Grasshopper) for such kindness, great energy, your laugh, BIG smile & that warm melting chocolate cookie you gave me.Timing is everything with a meal & it was a delicious treat right after the last bite of my sandwich :) I truly felt welcomed & at home in a friends kitchen :) The employees seem to eb & flow very well together in getting things prepared. Parking might be a little challenge due to all the great little stores in that busy little center but everyone seemed to be coming & going at the right time to find a parking space. I highly recommend this delicious find & I'll definitely return for another sandwich & the First Class service!!!

I'm torn about this review. The food was actually very good. A bit pricey but good. It's the service which was a huge disappointment. This particular day and time the deli was NOT busy. The person who served us wasn't cordial and couldn't answer our questions. The server took my order and it was very simple. A roast beef sandwich. We waited a good amount of time to get our sandwiches. Two sandwiches total. My sandwich was wrong. I didn't even take it back I was stilled irritated that the server couldn't even answer basic questions. My friend had the same opinion. Good food, lousy service. We will not be going back. The service was that poor. Both of us had been wanting to go here and both us of us were very disappointed.

Great place to eat bad thing no restrooms for customers .. time change and let the public use the restroom instead of going to Jack in the box

I have gone to 17th Street deli for a while but last time I was disappointed. I ordered a ham sandwich and there were three thin slices of ham. It was mostly lettuce. That is $13.29 for a sandwich. Now they charge for slice of pickle which they never did before.

Amazing service and delicious flavorful bacon with just the right amount of crunch on the turkey club.

If you like mashed potatoes, then order the breakfast. Burrito because it's 75% mashed potatoes.

OMG Salami Monster sandwich was one of the Best sandwiches to ever cross my lips. It was enormous is size! I was really hungry and are it all. Highly recommended! A few days later I tried their Pastrami with Swiss on Rye and was unimpressed. Looking forward to returning again!

Pastrami sandwiches here are great. I get my bread toasted or grilled to make it the way I prefer it.
