It was a birthday celebration & they made us feel so special. Ambiance was intimate & warm. Before our meals end we were plotting our next return and who we were bringing with us. As we left, I was able to express to John the manager just how much we enjoyed our evening at Seasons 52.“

“This is where you want to go for a casual meal that's healthy but still delicious. They have online ordering which makes dining here easy and convenient. To be honest, the photos on their site looked a little too healthy to me and not very appealing. But I'm glad I decided to give them a try anyway. Their focus is on rotisserie chicken and you can see them cooking in the front window. The place is small and cozy with a few tables for dining in but it seems like a lot of people order take out. I got the Combo #1 ($12.50) that comes with a 1/4 rotisserie chicken, two sides and cornbread or tortilla. The cashier warned me it would be a small piece of chicken (which it was) but it's enough for one person if you're not too hungry. The chicken was cooked perfectly and pairs well with their lemon garlic sauce, which is more lemony than garlic. I chose coleslaw and mashed potatoes as sides and they tasted like they were homemade. I really enjoyed the unique flavor of the coleslaw. I think it had pineapple in it. The food here is simple but flavorful and fresh. You don't have to feel guilty about eating out when you come here.“
“Was looking for an exceptional butter cream cake for my wife's birthday. Started searching on Google for bakeries and Penelope's caught my eye. I stopped by the shop to get a sense of what they were about and spoke with Penelope's husband who was so passionate about his wife's cakes, I ended up ordering an 8' vanilla butter cream cake. Per their instructions I let the cake sit out for what turned out to be a little over 5 hours before serving and I have to say, this is, without a doubt, the best cake I've ever had and it's not even close. There is really nothing that you can't love about this place.“

“Let's start with the chocolate nutty sandwich. Two flourless peanut butter cookies with chocolate buttercream in the middle. I'd rate it a 3.5 - the chocolate is pretty sweet, and my cookies were quite crumbly to the touch. Overall, not my favorite, but, not my least favorite. On to the strawberry cake... WOW!!! Absolutely delightful! The strawberry purée buttercream really is the star of the show here. I'm sad they won't offer this after this month, but also happy, because I would be tempted to get this all the time. If you get a chance in the next few days to try this, I would. Moist, super tasty, and oh-so-strawberrylicious. Solid 5 stars. As for the service - couldn't tell you who helped me. She barely spoke to me outside of, "anything else?". And when I paid, I was the one who had to say, "Have a good day!". 1 star. The cake boosts my overall rating - it's just so good.“

“I've been coming to this Mendocino Farms for years and there are many reasons why I come back. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the food is delicious and makes me feel good, and the service. The employees here are SO nice. My favorite thing to get is the avocado quinoa salad with chicken. I was here with my mom having a rough day while we waited for news about our dog at the vet, and all 3 employees I interacted with made my day. You never know what someone is going through, and I really appreciated them being so thoughtful and KIND. Normally, I'm in high spirits when I come in, and I want to say thank you for being so kind to us when we were feeling down.“

“was looking for a dessert place in OC and lo and behold, a italian ice and custard place! my friend and i came around night time and it was fairly busy. there was one man serving and cashiering so understandably there was a small wait. he was so kind and i can tell with every order he was being purposeful with the way he put it together. i ordered the strawberry milkshake and it was sweetness overload in all the right ways. i will say the italian ice itself is not too strong in flavor so i tried to make sure every bite had some custard with it. the place is bright and they have lots of variety of flavors so come and try it out!“
