We love all of the restaurants connected and have a lifelong of memories attached. This location is unique and delicious. Great prices, consistent really yummy good. Love their cut California roll. I know so simple but they seriously do such a great job at the small stuff as much as the big stuff. Love the teriyaki combos, crunchy roll, curry is amazing.

I used to go here once a week! Everything was so fresh. It always got so packed so I would come here on a Wednesday. Definitely a great authentic sushi spot.

I always get lunch from here when I work near by here since 2014 ish. I dont know if they changed ownership but interior has changed time to time.Anyway, Ive always satisfied with their food until yesterday. I ordered chicken katsu togo, went back to work, opened the container and this is what i got. Black carcinogen lol. Seriously.... it was all burned wayyy overcooked and hard as a rock. I am really disappointed. I didnt have time to go back and complain so I threw away most of them. I was starving lol thruout my whole shift..When they put my food in the container, isnt it really obvious that it looks a bit like a charcoal?? And they still decided to sell this. No respect at all..Basically this tells me that they dont even look at the food they cook or dont even care the quality of food they serve!Well.. im not coming back. I dont write any reviews on anything tbh. This is the first review im writing. I had to login, confirm my email address as well. The reason why im leaving this review despite of all these steps i had to take is that I just want to let the owner know since i used be a regular and i used to like this place. Im writing this not to damage this business but rather to let them know this place is not the same as before. I hope this is helpful to run ur business better.

Great food, friendly service! Always order the karage. Everything I've tried so far on the menu tastes delicious!

This is the kind of place you can stroll into and feel instant familiarity and comfort. It's the type of place you'd find every two blocks or so in the major city parts of Tokyo. The food is pretty standard for your Japanese food fix: karaage, croquette, tempura, and so forth. Is the food to die for? Not necessarily, but again, it's comforting, typical, and no frills. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.I love the service here--the servers pretty much ignore you until you have something to say. So if you're impatient or irritable (usually me), you won't be happy. But just kick back and enjoy a nice beer or sake with good food! Sucks for the people waiting outside but everyone puts in their dues. Can't hate when we all relate.

Food has always been yummy! There can be a wait if dining area is full. Prices are very reasonable.

Went there hoping for a $7.95 lunch special. Well they raised their prices ...huh? During this extraordinary time they RAISED their prices? No thanks. Go to Sushi-Teri instead for their amazing lunch specials!

I love this place and it is the #1 place I go for a cheap workday lunch. I love the Salmon ponzu for $7.95 and it is just nice to sit at their bar and eat. Anyway I placed our first post Covid to go order today for 3 bento boxes and was surprised that the bill came out to almost $40. At $7.95 per, it should be closer to $26 or $27. As it turns out, they raised their prices from $7.95 to $11.95 for the Bento Box lunch- on the Teriyaki chicken and Salmon. The ramen and poke dishes are also not ready for the to-go orders. Looks like I'll have to find another cheap lunch workday lunch place. Bummer.

Good reviews so I went here, ordered the crispy rice with spicy tuna, the sexy roll, and sprite. The spicy tuna crispy rice was the worst I've had and I couldn't even eat it, the sexy roll just tasted like bad sushi and was fishy, and even the sprite was completely flat. Not one bubble of carbonation. I don't get why everything was such a miss. I feel bad writing this because the people were nice, but they really weren't on top of it last night. I won't be back.

A friend brought me here for lunch. I didn't have much expectation after a mediocre experience at Honda-Ya, their Japanese skewer shop. Their menu was extensive. I picked a grilled fish lunch set. Food was authentic judged by my years of love affairs with Japanese food. Finally a Japanese restaurant I can come back to in LA.

i've been here before, but that was a couple of years ago so i don't really remember haha! but this place is so delicious!!!! we ordered the california roll, crunchy roll, pork curry, and Teriyaki beef. the california roll was good, it wasn't the most amazing i've had but it was still really good. the crunchy roll is my most favorite crunchy roll i've ever had though! i love the tempera inside. the pork curry was DELICIOUS. the pork was sooo crunchy, the only part i didn't like was the spice factor. it wasn't really spicy as i would like it, but the pork made up for it. lastly was the beef. the beef was SOO flavorful and the texture of the meat was just right. my only problem is that service here is a bit slow, it took them 15 minutes to hand out our edamames, and 30 minutes to hand out our curry. but it was pretty worth it!

Nice atmosphere and selection of food and sake. I heard two elderly gentlemen conversing in Japanese at the bar while eating, and that's usually a sign that the food is good and authentic ? their housemade red pickles are excellent
