Apparently everyone who grew up in Irvine knew about this place... recommended by two of my OC native coworkers, I was skeptical at first because of its appearance... made the mistake of judging a book by its covers... Ordered the lil pickle sub. It was goooooooddd. Just the right amount of veggies, salami was not salty at all, and the bread was just soft enough. Been back here a couple of times already since, absolutely love it. Don't usually like sandwiches, but I guess this place changed my perception. Highly recommend!

I come to lil pickle quite often, probably once or twice a month. I've tried the lil pickle sub, the natural sub, and the pastrami and I have liked them all! The bread is always very soft and fresh along with all the other ingredients. They have 3 size options - all for a good price. Plenty of toppings to add on as well. The staff is always fast and friendly. There's plenty of seating, but it can fill up with customers so be aware of that! The place is decorated to show all of the sports teams they have sponsored over the years. It's a great little shop and I recommend it to everyone!

Meet Pete the owner at the golf course and he is so nice and just a great guy. Then went into the store and got the number 4 on wheat bread which was so good. The seating is very nice and old school and a overall great local business. Highly recommend!

Come on! It's the Lil Pickle. I have been going to this deli for many many years. I love the old school sandwich counter and the simplicity of the menu. Yes they make a ton of different sandwiches on French rolls regular bread, They have been serving the area forever. I remember playing Basketball at the college around the corner and some days I could not wait to crack the doors and walk in to my favorite sandwich shop. The smell of dill pickles, fresh brad and whatever oil and Vinegar the us brings me nostalgia. I frequent this place often For lunch because it's another one of those local sleepers. You drive by it everyday and you may not see it. It's super small and Practical. 5 thumbs up
Hands down the best sandwich I've ever had. 12/10 recommend this place. Always good service and quick. It's a must stop for me every time I'm within 30 minutes
everyone loves lil pickle. the service tho from the gay guy who wears the mask (clown) acts like it's such a burden to work there. is extremely rude to customers i've noticed.
