This has been on my list forever and I decided last minute while i was off my diet to come here. It's a very small place and it got crowded real quick. Definitely come here early cuz you'll have to wait for a table. I did remember that you can't adjust the spiciness to your bowl so be aware if you're sensitive to the heat. I got the Deluxe and it was everything I imagined it to be. They gave a cute mini ball of rice at the end to soak up the leftover yummy sauce. I took the rest home, the bowl is very heavy and I just couldn't finish it but it's okay because I looked forward to eating it the next day.

Definitely a unique experience if you're a casual ramen fan looking for something new. Mogu Mogu is located in a small plaza that can get packed quickly, but make sure to look for the extra spots in the back before giving up! I came here on a Saturday afternoon, and we were lucky enough to be seated right away; while we were eating, though, I definitely saw a line begin to queue up outside, as the restaurant is relatively small. I was feeling hungry so I ordered the Deluxe Mazemen - the biggest on their menu. Make sure to give your mazemen a good mix before diving in. I thought the pork especially stood out with how tender and flavorful it was. At the end, as always, I finished it off with the rice to soak up the leftover broth. Great, solid treat in the area as always!

Always busy, but they are doing a great job to not keep you waiting. Small inside, a few tables and a counter, and a few tables outside We got the Tonkatsu Ramen, and the spicy version that comes with the sauce on the side, so you can make it as spicy as you like it. We'll come back to try other dishes, they have a large selection. Parking is limited, there are some spots behind the building too.

Forgot to review this spot from our quick SoCal trip. We received recommendations about how good the "dry" ramen was. We're traditionalists about ramen and we were very pleasantly surprised how good it was! Service was good, the vibe was nice... food was very good. With the dry ramen option, you can really taste all the individual ingredients. It's a definite must try for any ramen enthusiast.

I preferred the CA tongkotzu ramen over the mogu mogu style ramen. Rich broth, soft boiled egg was perfectly prepared. Chashu was tasty too. Add the umami vinegar to the broth...great combo. Mogu chicken and shoshito peppers were very good as starters.

Konichiwa everyone! It's Mogumogu! Have you guys heard of Mazemen? It's just like ramen, but no broth! Instead, you get a velvety meat sauce to mix your noodles into :D I ordered the Deluxe Mazemen, which comes with all the fixings, like Spicy minced pork and chashu! Look at that beautiful bowl. I had to mess it all up though, but in the name of flavor! It tasted punchy, with savory and sweet notes to really balance out the bowl. And I got the Tokyo Mazemen, which comes without the chashu. The taste was very similar to the Deluxe, and I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. Get this one if you're not super into large pieces of pork belly. Holy moly, though, this was such a satisfying dish to eat, I had to step away from the table. And they provide these fun add-ons like vinegar you can pour on, sesame seeds you can grind on, and an extra little dollop of rice at the end to soak up all that sauce. Remember, if you're looking to taste something totally oishi, you know where to get it.

Came on a Friday night around 6 pm. It was packed inside and there was about a 20 minute wait. Was able to make the happy hour which is from 5-6:30pm on Fridays. The portions are a pretty decent size and it comes with a scoop of rice to eat with the leftover sauce. Mogu chicken-4.5/5: The chicken was really crispy and the inside was juicy. Definitely get this during happy hour! Deluxe Mazeman- 3.75/5: This one comes with lots of toppings like eggs, chashu, and seaweed which I liked. The flavors were good, but nothing special. It tasted better with the vinegar added in. Curry Mazeman- 3.5/5: Similar to the deluxe but doesn't have as many toppings in the dish. I was expecting a Japanese curry flavor, but it's more like a spices curry flavor.

deluxe mazemen (3/5): the udon noodles were good but i was not a fan of the overall flavor, the fish umami especially threw me off. the egg, chashu, and spicy minced pork were yummy though! i think it would have been better without the fish umami powder. service & environment were great, everything was fast and the staff helped answer our questions on how to eat the mazeman! the lower rating is just due to personal preference of taste, there was nothing we had an issue with during our dining experience.

The parking here is decent but the store is on the smaller side so expect to wait on busier days. I've previously tried their Deluxe and Kyoto Mazemen but was not the biggest fan. The noodles were too firm and the dish overall was too grainy. This time, I opted for the Rice bowls since I wasn't too hungry. This was the perfect option! It was flavorful and small snack that kept you full still. Will most likely stick with this next time I visit.

Wow wow wow amazing noodle dishes!! Heard a lot about the hype for mogu mogu and I think it definitely lives up to it. I got the tokyo mazemen which had perfectly bouncy, chewy, noodles with a yummy sauce. Not sure what was in the sauce, but the toppings included minced garlic, some seasoning, green onion and chives, and once mixed in together, the flavor combination was insane!! So so flavorful and I think everything worked very well together. There was a strong furikake flavor which I love, and overall was such a savory flavored dish. Wish the pork was a little more spicy though. Tip: add some of the umami oil vinegar that's provided for you on the table!! It helps cut the savoriness and richness a bit and I think really pulled the dish together. I thought the portion seemed small, but after getting a small scoop of rice at the end to mix in with all the remaining sauce, I was very satisfied at the end of meal in terms of portions! So delicious with the rice mixed in. Great service!

The place gets really busy so get your spot as soon as possible. The vegan mazemen was amazing.

Back here once again to introduce some friends about my favorite spot for mazemen. I love some dry noodles especially when they make them very saucy. The Tokyo mazemen packed with so much flavor and I love when they give us some rice to mix at the end. The staff were friendly and although it's small inside, it felt very homey.

Very nice customer service and cute Japanese interior. There is some outdoor seating and plenty of parking. Vegan Tokyo Mazemen: it tasted like thicker (almost udon) ramen noodles with no broth. I chosen the vegan because of the tastier toppings and it was not greasy at all. It was pretty tasty but I think I still prefer regular ramen. This is a good healthier, less sodium alternative though! They give you a scoop of rice for the sauce at the bottom of your bowl but the vegan one didn't have that. We also tried the fried chicken and takoyaki octopus balls and they were okay. Definitely recommend them only if you're ordering during happy hour. Service was very fast so we didn't have to wait for long and it was a decent sized portion.

Came here on a trip to LA to meet friends for dinner. We each got ramen; slurped down the pork ramen. The spicy miso came with the spice on the side so you could decide how much to put in. We really enjoyed the mogu chicken (a must-have) and the shishito peppers. We also got the squid legs but it was dry and crispy; wouldn't recommend. Everything else was good! There was plenty of turnover on the tables on a Sunday night; we were able to get a table for 4 as a walk-in. The waitress was attentive and came back to check on us a few times.
