We’ve been coming to Side Street Cafe for 20+ years, and it never disappoints. It’s fun to see how many regulars they have. We got the stuffed French toast and an egg scramble with toast, and it was as good as always. Staff is super friendly! It’s always hopping busy, so plan your time accordingly!Parking: There’s a small parking lot right in front and more free parking at the city park just across the street

This is my favorite breakfast spot. Honestly, it feels like you're sitting in someone's Texas home, enjoying a down-home hearty meal that tastes incredible. I've been coming to Side Street Cafe since the '90s. I moved away but am now close enough to visit again. The restaurant staff (AKA Friendly Family Owners), make you feel like you're in their own home. They are kind and attentive. They serve excellent lunches too, but back in the '90s, I came here for weekend brunches.

I've been coming here for over 2 decades. Been here over 100x. I can't say enough about this place. Never once a bad meal and with every visit I've had STELLAR service. As you can see by my picture that I can eat a lot. I've had just about every on the menu. Feeling healthy? The Harley special. Feeling indulgent? Cream stuffed French toast. And everything else in between is definitely worth every bite. You'll enjoy the great vibe of the low key atmosphere and guaranteed excellent service. LOVE this place.

Best breakfast in town! Great service from three generations of one family, excellent fresh coffee (watch out it's STRONG!), fantastic deals for light eaters and the ravenous alike. Highly recommend this local gem. Oh, and the wall humor is quite entertaining!...update! hadn't been in awhile, so i'm delighted to report that the food here is still great, reasonably priced and served by the same lovely multi-generational family! (2023 fall update)

Was in NPB on 4th of July weekend. The place was packed. Tried to find breakfast near the pier. SUPER Crowded. So decided to take a drive and found this place. Good food. No wait. Fast service. Easy in. Easy out. Highly recommend

The staff is so friendly and welcoming!! I ordered the chorizo with beans and rice and it was delicious. The portions are great and the prices are a steal. I think I paid less than $15 for my entire meal. It's a small, hole-in-the-wall, so be sure to get there early because it fills up pretty quickly. All in all, great atmosphere and great food!

Love the B.A.S.C. (bacon, avocado, sour cream) omelet with mushrooms and a side of avocados on the potatoes. Ive been coming in whenever I'm in town for 20 years. The food is always spot on and service is always excellent. I just need to branch out and try other things but the BASC is just that tasty.Vegetarian options: Read the menu and ask the server what can be omitted. The servers are very friendly and knowledgeable.
