I ordered the special “Bun Riêu.” It was on special for the price of $15.75. The taste and flavor is so blend, not tasty at all. I ask for a cup of tea on ice. The flavor was Oolong tea. Just a regular tea they charge me $3.00. I asked the lady why cost so much. She stated everything is going up. That was her response. The national inflation 10-15%, but to charge a regular tea on ice for $3.00. That is literally price gouging the consumers. Pay the bill $20.20 for the meal and the tea. Left $3.00 for tip. Overall cost me $23.20. First time there and will be the last time

I visited Vietnam's Pearl with a friend while we were waiting for an event next door. We tried the pho and Grilled Pork Chop. I would say the price isn't too bad and it does the job but there is no wow-factor; wasn't really a fan of their nuoc nam either. Other reviews that mentioned lackluster service were also pretty on point. There is enough parking and the restroom is outside.

The service here is so terrible its almost comedic. I guess just don't expect the lady up front to be nice to you. Anything basic you ask for (a fork, water, extra napkins) is guaranteed to be met with opposition from her. Also don't expect her to bring you your check, you're on your own with that. That aside, the food is pretty good. But at one point or another the service and attitude you receive kinda outweighs however good the food is. Probably wont be returning unless they hire new staff or That Lady retires. Sorry!

Pretty chill spot for a quick bite. I had the shrimp spring rolls and the tofu vegetables pho. The pho was excellent, with fresh ingredients and delicious beef broth. The noodles were not excessive and the tofu was cooked beautifully. The spring rolls did look stale though, the lettuce brown-topped, and the rice paper hardened in spots. They looked like they might've been prepared hours ago and left to sit in the fridge before being served.

Good food. Single owner providing service so patience required. The food here is always fresh and delicious! You can choose authentic Vietnamese dishes like phõ, traditional rice and noodle dishes or items that are a fusion of cuisines.

Outstanding, freshly made Vietnamese cuisine! Really enjoyed the lemongrass beef vermicelli. The shaken beef was exquisite and the jasmine rice was perfect! Great staff!

Food was okay... Pho needed salt. I thought it was me but my colleagues made the same observation. I've had Pho that's was waaaay better and didn’t need a basic ingredient.

We were craving pho and were also out shopping so we quickly searched nearby and found this place. LOCATION: Small, dark plaza nearby Tokyo Central with ample parking and nothing special to noteAMBIANCE: Small shop, quite old and has a mom-&-pop feelSERVICE: Fast and efficient, but we were the only customers on a weekday night at 6pm. FOOD: Just okay, nothing super delicious or special. We had their spring rolls, pho, and shaken beef. The meat was not good for either the pho or the shaken beef. Spring rolls were good because they serve their sauce warm (I've only ever tried it cold)

We came for dinner on a weeknight, right around 7pm and it was not busy. Seemed understaffed, took a while to get even acknowledged, get seated, and get menus. Once we got the menus, we had to flag our server just to order. It has an okay vibe to the place, not bad, but not as lively and friendly as other places we've been. About 10 minutes later, we finally got to place our order, which felt like an eternity. Considering we were one of only a couple customers, the customer service was disappointing. I felt like I needed to get up every 5-10 minutes just to get something, to order, ask for chopsticks or bowls, or get the check. Normally, a server would come once or twice to check on us, not here. The food was fine, we got lemongrass chicken and rare beef pho, prices were reasonable, not as much as we've gotten at other pho places, but it's also not as expensive either. That's the one redeeming quality of this place, which keeps the rating higher, but would have appreciated better service, which took off one star.

It's ok food. I went twice for take out, twice because the first visit wasn't so good but I thought the broth is pretty good and I was right there next to the restaurant ( I couldn't make my trip to Westminster or Fountain Valley) I ordered the Chicken Pho, the Beef Pho, and the shrimp and pork spring rolls and also crispy egg rolls appetizers. Got home, they had forgotten all of the veggies for the Pho which really add flavor..so I was disappointed. The second time around I ordered the same thing and I reminded the lady up front to make sure to include the veggies and sriracha and bbq sauce for the soups. She looked at me like I was crazy and said "we always put everything in the bag." I told her she didn't last time no apology, nothing. So the second time was ok. I asked if they could use dark meat and she said they don't have it? The chicken before was pretty dry, and the amount of beef is about 5 very thin cut slices. The appetizers were good but I think for as much as you pay you could probably give me more than 3 crispy egg rolls that were cut in half to appear as if it was a lot plus any dipping sauces for them. (I think they were $10 or $12) I'm not crazy about that I try to rationalize the cost per piece.. The cost of the 4 items came out to a little over $45. I don't know if I will go back, it was convenient. I get picky about service and the quality of food. The broth is outstanding, I will give that to the hole in the wall shop. Happy eats my friends!
