Schmidt’s is a must-visit in Crescent City! I will now have to drive up from Humboldt just to visit. My son loved the Crawfish Boil, we fought over the delicious Crawdad Fritters, and their house salad with blackened shrimp was amazing. One of the best meals I’ve had in months! So grateful for the light of this gem on the north coast. Lovely staff, incredible view, great atmosphere, but the FOOD. I wish I could have eaten one of everything.
Oh my gosh! The Muffelatta is so good! Try the boudin balls too, you won't be disappointed. They are doing a seasonal brunch on Sunday's right now featuring crepes. We can't wait to go back to try that. The waitstaff is top notch. Highly recommend!

Stopped here on our way back to Oregon. Our three teens inhaled their muffalettas..."I don't know when the last time I had such good food." Jambalaya was the right amount of spicy, highly recommend getting the garlic bread to soak up the deliciousness. Bit of a wait, but worth it for the meal.
